Most famous person you have met?

Probably, Carl Wilson (now deceased) of the Beach Boys. My late husband's band was on the road with The Beach Boys many moons ago. I have also met Bob Seger (same scenario).

I forgot Bob Seger! Met Bob, Joni Mitchell, and Roy Orbison at a party.:)

Michael Jackson came into the toy store I was working at. He was mobbed! He asked me the price of an item. I told him. My brush with greatness. ;)

I also worked at a business management firm. While there I spoke with David Hasselhoff, Lee Majors, and Jason Bateman. Although other famous people came into the office, I didn't get to actually speak with them.

Met Tommy Lasorda, former manager of the Dodgers, twice. That's a personal favorite. :)

I met OJ Simpson outside of a restroom at the Magic Kingdom. I could barely get thru because there were so many body guards. Right before I reached the door out came OJ... He must have seen the shock on my face said "hello" and I said the same. :scared1: I believe it was in 2002.

Also have hung out with Kelly Pavlik (boxing) a few times since he frequented a bar I use to go to all the time when I lived around Youngstown Ohio.

Al Pacino - he was filming Dog Day Afternoon up the block from me. I got his autograph but who knows what happened to it. So, so, so long ago.

Lance Bass and Joey Fatone from NSYNC! Lance was in Hairspray on Broadway and Joey was in Little Shop of Horrors. I also met a few American Idol contestants after different Broadway shows as well (Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo and Constantine Maroulis). And when I was 13 or so I sang in a concert with Shirley Jones from The Partridge Family. She is just lovely!

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Back in 2006 my family's casino host was able to get us tickets for a soft opening of LOVE and they were sitting in front of us. :) After gawking for the entire show I finally got up the nerve to ask them to sign the booklet I had.

/
Pat Benatar. I was one of her nurses in the ER back in the 80's when she was performing in our town.

It's hard to define "most" famous but Sting, Colonel Klink, a couple former politicians--Walter Mondale and Jimmy Carter. These would be met as in actually talking to them and having a conversation vs getting an autograph.

Hugh Jackman. I went to the NY premiere of The Wolverine last year and I got picked to go up on stage and ask him a question about the movie. He was really nice.

Most famous person that I've randomly spotted on the streets of NY? Harrison Ford.

John Denver

Norman Reedus might not be the most famous... but he was the second most fun (next to John Denver!).:cool1:

Norman Reedus is totally fun! I saw the Walking Dead cast at the Paleyfest panel a few weeks ago, and he liked my friend's question so much he gave her a hug.

In no particular order:
Garth Brooks
James Garner
President Jimmy Carter

Lyle Alzado (Denver Bronco/Oakland Raider--and was MY football guy when I was a kid) and David Thompson (Denver Nuggets) back in the 70s, at a Read-a-thon dinner...at Casa Bonita! :lmao:

In high school:
John Elway
Shannon Sharpe
Steve Watson
(can you tell I grew up in Colorado?)

:rotfl2:

When I was working for Johnny Rockets (Vegas/Santa Monica):
Elijah Wood (bad tipper)
Heath Ledger (awesome tipper, funny guy)
One of the O'Jays (a band from the 60s, I think)
I can't think of his name, but he had a long beard, striped like a raccoon tail.

He's about the nicest guy out there. :thumbsup2

John Travolta and most of the cast of Ladder 49. They were filming in my area and my brother and I were extras for the movie. We were both firefighters at the time so we got to chat with them a bit.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Around the time Wedding Crashers was being filmed, DH and I ran into them at WaWa.

Larry the Cable Guy-DH and I went to see one of his comecomedy show's but got there really early. The radion meet and greet winners were there and we asked if we could join, they said sure.

Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs and just about every voice over work on the Discovery Channel. He is from my area and used to sing in a men's Chorus with DFil.

Quite a few others wheI was a radio station intern in college, Cher, 98 Degrees, Barenaked Ladies, Janet Jackson, NSync.

Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and William DeVull (Alice in Chains). Although I didn't realize it was William DeVull I was talking to until after! He was standing next to me backstage watching Jane's Addiction.

I am officially jealous!!!!!!!

Just went to Chillerfest, so met a few...Doug Bradley ("Pinhead" from those :scared1: movies), Gary DeCarlo, Zacherle, Alan Robert (bassist from LoA), Eddie Trunk and Don Jamieson, Glenn Hetrick (coolest guy EVERY), Lizzy from Lizzy Borden (one of dh's favorite bands), and William B. Davis (The Smoking Man from the X-files). I've met Yngwie Malmsteen (in his tour bus after a show), and in my world, my favorite, Peter Steele. RIP

We didn't actually meet him, but Steve Wozniak walked into a restaurant where DH, DS and I were having lunch several weeks ago. I was having an issue with my iPhone and I joked that I should go over and ask him about it. It would be like the ultimate visit to the Apple Genius Bar! DS was mortified that I would actually do it, so I had to stay cool!
