Most expensive Disney trip

Right now, this years 7 night trip is looking like 3285.00. Thats for a family of 4
(2 adults , 2 juniors) at CSR with the dining plan.
Still have to buy airfare though.

In 2004 we spent well over $5,000 , for 6 nights with the silver plan at WL.

about 5000 for 5 nights at the Poly with 5 of us...

this included air so I think we got a deal with the free dining...

it makes a huge difference now that I am pricing 06 trip...WOW

Ok, I'm going against the thread--the least expensive trip--

5 nights, 2 adults, 2 kids, $635 total! How so?

4 SWA rr tickets (free airfare!)

Already purchased annual passes which still were valid cost of passes = 0

5 nights hotel (Holiday Inn DTD) $35 per night (that included tax), obtained from Hotwire total cost of hotel 5 x 35 = $175

5 days free rental car using AMEX Membership Rewards points

pet sitter for 3 cats x 5 days @ $18 per day = $90

Airport parking in econo lot @ $4 per day x 5 days = $20

175 + 90 + 20 = $285

$350 on meals and souveniers We stayed at a hotel with free breakfast and kids eat free dinner, did cs, split meals in the parks, also did one character meal (chef Mickey's), also used rent car to stock up on groceries for room such as snacks, sandwich fixings, etc.

Well, it can happen! BTW, we had a GREAT time! For everything else, theres Mastercard! princess: :cloud9:

It is definitely going to be our next trip as we are paying for 6 Adults to go to WDW. We're taking my parents, Richard's mom, & a friend of the family that is like a substitute parent.

3 rooms at AKL Pool View for 16 nights with discount= aprox $7200 (we hope)
4 New PAP = $2296
2 Renewal PAP = $1041
Airfare from UK x3= $1510
Airfare from Boston x3=$546
Food??? This is really up in the air. We plan one TS for most breakfasts and most dinners. Typically we don't eat lunch though. And we probably will only be covering about 50% of this.

Why? It's a crapload of money. My parents have visited WDW probably about 8-10 times. I could never convince Richard's parents to go, his mom doesn't love flying. I figured sooner or later I would get them there. Then last April his dad died suddenly, and I regret never getting him to go, because he would have loved lots of things about the place. His dying made me question how long I had with my own parents, among other things. They have never stayed in a deluxe hotel, and I wanted to share the AKL with them. So that is how this trip was cooked up.

WOW!! You are a fabulous daughter. Hope the trip is magical pixiedust:

I think this will be our most expensive trip yet. We are really splurging, getting two rooms at pop, dining plan, 7 day hoppers with water park option, the airfare, car rental, staying offsite for two days, Seaworld....It will probably top $5000 by the time I'm done. But this will probably be our last big "family" trip for awhile. My oldest son will be 15 by this point and he's already putting up a fuss about not wanting to go and its also our anniversary on this trip, so we are so excited about it.

My most expensive trip was my first one with my grandchildren, when I decided that we have to do it more often. I bought into DVC (450 pts @$70). You do the math. BUT we have been back so often and don't have to worry about hotel prices going up.
