Most Embarrasing Moment on a Ride

Mine isn't as good as some of yall's but.....

When you are about to board the Buzz Lightyear space ranger spin ride...you know the cool huge Buzz standing there?? Well I stopped right there & posed my kids for a pic in front of buzz ...there were plenty of people behind us waiting to board..the CM YELLED really loud at me, KEEP MOVING PLEASE.

My own fault, a thoughtless moment...my DH was mortified. I was pretty embarrassed too, but quickly got over it during the ride. :rotfl:

Well i've never embarrassed myself on a WDW ride by family sure has! lol Ever since I could remember everytime we ride The Haunted Mansion my dad constantly screams like a woman for laughs...lol I remember one year when my grandma was in a seperate buggie than my dad she thought my dad's screams were part of the ride...lol

And 2 years ago when me and my younger sister(10 at the time) were riding RNRC for the first time, from take off to the end she was crying and screaming "MAMA!!! GET ME OFF!" lol have you ever seen a 10 year old do that????? lol and what was even funnier and slightly embarrassing was our picture.....the espression on her face screamed terror and horror! lol!!

This is terrible. My mother is extremely overweight. My family including my moher, DH, DD and myself were going through the turnstyle at Pirates of the Carribbean. My DH, DD and myself were in front of mother. DH, DD and I had gone through the turnstyle and had walked about a minute in line through the dark hall of the ride when we realized Mom was not with us. We went back and found that she had literally gotten stuck in the turnstyle :guilty: . I was so embarrassed for her. She was so humiliated. I later wrote a letter complaining to Disney about the fact that those turnstyles at POTC have much tighter squeeze than the ones at the other rides. Disney replied saying that a CM could have opened the handicap gate for her. I told Disney that no CM offered to do that and that really my mother had no problems with any other turnstyle at MK or any of the other park. I asked that Disney please take a look at their turnstyles so that no other person has to go through that humiliating experience. I don't no if anything was done to replace those turnstyles. This happened about 10 years ago. My mother has never been back since. I know she felt very bad about the incident.
I have almost gotten stuck in the turnstyles myself, but now at POTC there are NO turnstyles, so tell your Mom she can go back! :thumbsup2

This goes back a few years, but I hadn't been on Space Mountain for a long time and my youngest DS wanted to go on, so on we went. He would be sitting with me.

Well we sat in the capsule (or whatever the seat is called) and I expected the seat belts to be attached at that point - but instead it started to move. I stood up and started screaming. "STOP!! STOP!! OUR BELTS AREN'T ATTACHED" I was really in a panic. It took all the nerve I had to get on SM and now I had to hang on literally for both our lives.

We then came to the next stop and that was where they fastened the seatbelts. I sat back down, continued on the ride, and after it was over was amazed that I didn't die from a heart attack.

I never again rode SM.

This wasn't necessarily embarassing for me, but we took my mother on Tower of Terror. We didin't realize how funny it was till we got off and saw the picture. There was everyone sitting there smiling and having a good old time...and then there was my mother. Looked like she was literally trying to claw her way out of the ride with a look on her face like she was being attacked. :rotfl2: Next time I'm at her house, I'm going to have to find that pic and post it on here. Its the funniest things I've ever seen. :teeth:

At the HM one night and we are in the rising/dropping room...there are only about 20 people and it is so cool at night, you can see more I think. Anyhow, the CM walking around telling everyone to step away from his walls and I must have really been getting into it because when the lights went off and then on and I turned around the CM was nose to nose with me...I let out a scream to end all screams! I figure my face is on the ghosts wall of shame somewhere, lol! :rotfl2:

That exact same thing happened to me! I screamed so loud. The CM was trying his best to keep a straight face, but he started chuckling to himself.

This wasn't on a ride but this past June while I was in WDW with my three friends and my parents it rained a lot. One day while we were in Epcot is was pouring and I didn't realize how slippery the ground was (betcha can see where this is going). So my friend Jessie and I were running to the gift shop to get out of the rain when I slipped and litterally flew about three feet in the air. I'm fourteen but I'm really small for my age so I'm sure most people thought I was only 10. While I was laying on the ground in the pouring rain all I could her was gasps from all the people staring at me. I was so embarrassed and really hurt. Looking back at it now though I cant help but laugh  :p

On a trip with my DW, she didn't wear any panties and when she got out of Space Mountain, she gave the CM a view he won't forget for a long time. It was one of those he glances down, makes eye contact and then smiles. She was about to die.

This wasn't a ride but was embarrassing. Just 2 weeks ago, we went over to Ft. Wilderness, DS9 wanted to go fishing. Now we are not the outdoorsy types, but ok, we went to the Bike Barn to rent reels. Everyone had picked out their pole and I am holding all 4 while DH is paying for the adventure. For some reason, I lifted them up - well I hear clatter, clatter, and one of the CMs yells "look she caught a ceiling fan!" Yes, there was a fan above my head. I wanted to sink into the floor. To make matters worse, we never did catch a fish - we fed the fish - they ate all our bait - but didn't catch a single one. DH and I decided that is our last fishing trip since the only thing we caught was a fan!!

That Buzz ride at DQ that you ride around in the vehilcles and shoot balls at each other. I was to thick to figure out how to make my vehicle work and my car never moved- i sat there like a like a moron for the whole ride. One guy shot a ball at me- then I think he felt sorry for- like I was mentally challenged (which I was at that moment) and he moved on. I felt like such a dunce walking out woth everyone when the ride was over.

How about a 45yo woman screaming that. From the minute we started moving on RnRC, I kept screaming "get me off, please stop this & get me off". Even though I was scared & didn't like it at all, it didn't seem all that long so I thought maybe they really did stop it for me. Yeah, right. I don't even remember the picture.

Also, on my 2nd time on Tower of Terror, which I'm also terrifed of, I asked the "elevator operator" for a seat that's not to scary. He said "this is the tower of terror, not the tower of happiness".

Ours is more gross & embarrasing. On our last trip in Dec. we were waiting in line to ride Dumbo. We had gotten there early & should have had a short wait. Right when we got to the front of the line, before you enter the "holding area" Dumbo had a malfunction. We had to wait about 10 minutes for him to get back up & running. While we were waiting for Dumbo to resume flying my DS (2.9 yrs then) went #2 in his pull-up. No big deal right? WRONG!! It was the most foul smelling thing I have ever smelled. Not only that, everyone around us was noticing the smell. They were trying to be polite, but you could just tell they knew EXACTLY where the stink originated from. :guilty: I said to him, lets go change & Daddy will get back in line for us. Faster than lightning my son says "No! Leave it! I want to ride!!!". About that time Dumbo resumed & we were put in the holding area. I am embarrased to say, I did leave it until we rode Dumbo. So for anyone who was in line that day in Dec. I am sorry for the smell.

I've just remembered a DLRP one. I was around 16 weeks pregnant. We'd booked the holiday before we found out we would be having a baby. I was suffering severe sickness in the morning. We'd gone to Frontierland for the rope drop and just before the drop, I suddenly realised that I was going to be sick and it landed on the poor guy in front of me's waterproof jacket. I raced off leaving dh to deal with it. I sat on Main Street hoping I'd never see him again

Mine was on AstroOrbitor.

I was riding in a rocket with DD and I was scared...to...death! Everytime she'd lower the rocket the centrifugal force made me feel like I was going to fall out. I know I was screaming ..... I just didn't realize how much. When we got off the ride we were walking by this young couple that had just ridden the ride and I said "Man, was I scared on that thing!" and they both said "Uh, yeah, we could tell.".
