Most Child-Friendly Restaurants

What Disney restaurants are the most child-friendly for a table service meal? My boys will be 5 and almost-3 at the time we travel, and eating out with them can be a horror. They are not fussy eaters at all.

I would suggest a character meal like Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. Both are all you can eat buffets with lots of kid friendly options. The characters come right to your table for pictures and autographs (no standing in long lines in the parks). Chef Mickey's features Mickey,Minnie, Chip , Dale, Pluto , Goofy and sometimes Donald. Crystal Palace features Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore and Tigger. If you'd like to see a dinner show, I would recommend Hoop De Doo Review. Fried chicken, ribs, all you can eat and drink (beer and wine included) and a real fun show that your kiddos will just love. Ohana's is another good choice. No characters here but they can learn to hula and do a coconut/broom race through the restaurant. Yummy all you can eat steak, pork , shrimp and turkey on skewers.

I agree the character meals are the way to go for child friendly. Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Ohanas are all ones that my 2 year old enjoyed.

Character meals are good as is Whispering Canyon at WL as it is so loud no one will notice your two. Rainforest cafe if fun as is Prime Time Cafe or Si- Fi Drive in.
Make your ADR' as early as posibble to be in more family friendly setting. If they however do act really" horrible", It is always respectful to take them out to regroup before rejoining the dinning room again.
perhaps some practice meals at home. We always had "resturant rules". They started at two and were as simple as stay in your chair and use inside voices. They expanded till by late elementry they included figuring tips. DS, DN and now DGS all responded well. We needed kids we could take out anywhere, often and worked hard to make it happen.
