We'll be going to Disney in December with the meal plan for the first time. I would be interested in hearing which CS at any of the kingdoms give you the most bang (quality, quantity or both...) for your CS credit. Thoughts?

-The Tangierine Cafe (Morroco/EPCOT) Shawarma Platter! Lamb, chicken, couscous, tabbouleh, hummus, Morrocan Bread and Baklava. Delicious and enough to share for some.:goodvibes
-The Pepper Market (CSR) The Prime Rib Dinner was great! Their portions are huge and their menu is quite large-Asian, Mexican etc. Yumm!:thumbsup2

Sunshine Seasons Food Court at Epcot was the best CS value in the parks for us.

Quality-wise, you can't beat Main Street Bakery. Yummy fresh sandwiches and absuoltely fabulous pastries!

Cosmic Ray's barbecue plate in MK.
Sunshine Seasons, I second that one for Epcot.
Not as much to choose from in AK or MGM, we always use Flame Tree at AK and skip lunch while at MGM. :rotfl:

I had the kids and hubby set at a table, so I ordered adult meals for all.... got the best bang by getting bigger and nicer meals

wolfgang pucks express

WPE is the best of all, IMHO!! delicious, varied food, large portions
2nd comes the paninis at BW bakery ~ very tasty! (but limited variety)
HUGE platter at tangierine cafe (morocco).

you get a lot of food at sunshine seasons, we just didn't care for the food itself. :confused3

Agree Tangeriene Restaurant -shwarma platter (epcot Morocco)- wow lots of food for CS. Also the Ribs at Flametree in AK was a big rack for the price.

Definitely the Pepper Market at CSR!! Prime rib and rib eye steak and it counts as a CS.

Definantly agree on Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD, we also love Flametree at Ak, and the Fish shop at the UK in the World Showcase.:thumbsup2

CSR has a great menu including Mexican, Chinese and Italian dishes to go along with the grill station that serves rib eyes and prime rib. Not bad for a counter service credit.

Unless I missed something, Pepper Market isn't on the list this next year. I hate that because we loved going over and getting to go meals when we were too tired to go anymore. That is by far the best for your CS meal. We ate prime rib, rib eyes, etc many meals. The only thing that was a problem was that their deserts are limited to mostly danish and cobbler. Well, I have to edit this. I just found Pepper Market on the list for 2008. I guess that is a sign that we do DDP next year. Pepper Market is our favorite. So glad they added it.

Can you explain this? I don't understand. Are you saying that adult CS and children's CS are the same?

I would say the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. If we would have paid out of pocket for two adults our bill for a cs would have been over $38

Not all restaurants have kids meals...so you get the adult meal at those locations - it was my experience that they did not distinguish between an adult meal and a children's meal in your CS credits only on the TS credits...

we love to eat at Pizza Planet at MGM - there is no kids meal there
Woody's Meal Deal - Individual pepperoni pizza served with a garden salad. - $7.89 - then we got rice krispy treats for dessert - the salad and two pizzas was plenty for the 4 of us and we only used 2 credits
