We will be there in January and I just made an ADR for morrocan restaurant. Here are my questions -- are the royal feasts available under the dining plan or are those excluded? Has anyone gone to Marrakesh with the dining plan and if so, what was your experience. Finally, did you have kids with you and did they like it?

Thanks.

Lauren

We went in the summer and really enjoyed it. I would say that the food was good, and the atmosphere, service, and dancing were excellent. The royal feasts were included. I had one of the feasts, and my friend had another and we tasted each other's so we go to try a lot of things which was fun.

The one thing I can't tell you about is dessert -- after the feast there was no way we were able to even think about it.

As for the kids (my DS6 and my friend's DD10), they liked the atmosphere and the dancing, but chose to order hamburgers off the kids menu. They were perfectly satisfied with the hamburgers and a few nibbles off our plates.

Overall we really enjoyed Marrakesh.

We went to Marakesh in September and used the dining plan. My husband had the feast and it was included in the dining plan - but because the feast comes with an appetizer and a dessert he did not get to order anything al a carte. I on the other hand ordered lamb meshoui (very good) so I was able to also get an appetizer (beef brawart rolls) and a dessert (crepes atlas). If there is one meal you like I would get that rather than the sampler type feast meal because then you can order a separate dessert and appetizer.

You will enjoy Marakesh though! Have a great time!

Would the feast be enough food to share with a 10 yo who doesn't eat much?

My 16 year old loved the food there this past June. The feast platter was great.

We just dined there last week and really enjoyed it. My daughter (6) claimed it was really fun with the dancers and musicians. We ordered off the menu and really enjoyedour choices.

I got some seafood combo, husband got Night in Casablanca...but my parents are swearing the lemon chicken is tops.

I think this is an undiscovered secret and I am kicking my self for posting because though people were waiting this place is a hidden gem. Great service, good food...we will return.
