We have a reservation at Morimoto for my 40th birthday. I'm dying to go there. My husband isn't sure about taking our 7 year olds, even though they are well-accustomed to restaurants. I say it's Disney and they should be fine. It's not Victoria & Albert's. Have you been with kids or seen kids there? Is there a kids menu (that's my biggest clue that it's okay to take kids).

Also, help me narrow down the best of the menu. I want to try all of it!

I haven't been, but the Disney site has a kids' menu posted:

There were tons of kids there when we went a couple of weeks ago - including the 5 year old in our party. The kids menu is cool and folds into origami. Her meal also came with bubble tea, which was a fun treat.

(by the way, she ordered the mac and cheese and it was some of the best mac and cheese we've ever tasted - we fought over her leftovers HA!)

We had the duck service, which was good but not mind-blowing. I had hot and sour soup which was good as well. We also tried the crab rangoon appetizer, which I loved, but everyone else at the table was not impressed with. The rangoons are sort of a tube shape with crab inside - sort of like a snow crab leg. No cream cheese. I think my table mates wanted the more traditional version, but I loved how the crab meat was the feature rather than the cream cheese. I don't remember what everyone else got, but everyone liked their food. There was a palm reader going to table to table to entertain as we waited for our entrees to come - she was fantastic, if you go in for that sort of thing.
