Go just after 11:00 p.m. and you'll enjoy the surprises! So much fun for 20 cents a game.

Did I read right ?? after 11:00pm ?? its open that late ??

where is Flipper's?Is it an arcade?

I would love to hear recomendations on Hotels. I've tried many different hotels in Wildwood and in the crest, but I'm always looking for a nice place.

Disneyred,

Yes, it is almost 1/2 off the ticket books as well as annual passes, and they are good for the season (with the individual ride tickets in the books not expiring at all).

Does anyone know if they ever put tickets onsale after summer ends. I know about the spring sale, But I was wondering if they ever had an end of season ticket sale.

I don't know about hotels, but our local recreation center has discounted ticktes for many local attractions like Hersheypark, Sesame Place, etc. They have discounted tickets for Morey's Pier, too. So check with your recreation center.

We go to Wildwood every summer. I buy our tickets at the Christmas time sale for Morey's.

We were there last week and I saw a deal that you could get a three hour water park pass and a ride wristband combo and it wasn't a horrible price. The two could be used on different days. I think it was $161 for a family of 4, it would be less if your children are small.

Food is expensive. Some of the best deals on the boards are:

Polish water ice: Kiddie size $1 - just big enough to be a refreshing treat and a small is only .50 more.

Sam's Pizza (according to my DH the best on the boards) $1.60 a slice including tax- it is on the north end of the boardwalk

Have fun.

Mack's Pizza is the best! ;)

One thing nobody mentioned is that there are three different piers these ticktes/passes/wrist bands are good at.

I would also check with your local rec center. Our township offers a discount on the all day wrist bands. I think AAA also had discounts.

Keep in mind too that they do a family night on Thursdays too. I think you get dinner for 4 and 4 wristbands for maybe $120. The dinner might be a speggetti dinner somewhere. I'm not 100% sure though. I do remember seeing the signs on one of the piers. And I'm pretty sure it includes dinner for 4 somewhere.

Yes, the 161 is for the general public, I saw it at the ticket booth at one of the piers.

Flipper's Fascination is a game parlor located near the Monster Trucks down by the new Convention Center. It opens late morning, around noon, and stays open late...until the last player leaves. Usually after midnight. The game is played with a ball which you roll down a small alley into a 5x5 grid of holes. You try to get "tic-tac-toe". You can sit in the air-conditioning, spend 20 cents a game and hope to get the "blue line" to see a surprise. After 11 p.m., there are special games which are so much fun to see/play. You get tickets if you get a line but, quite honestly, the prizes are pretty lame. The prize is in the "show" that the "host," Randy, puts on. We just love it and always pop in, even if just for one game.

Ah, the Mack's vs. Sam's debate lives on. 4 votes here for Mack's White Pizza.

mack's, whole pie fresh/hot out of the oven. Oh gosh I can taste it now!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can get discounts if you belong or a friend or family member belongs to an Employee Club. You can buy a voucher for the bracelets for unlimited rides for about $24.00. It's good for the entire day. You can also buy tickets for the Waterpark. You pay the Employee's Club the money and they give you the voucher that you turn in at the window for the bracelets at each place.

We've done this the past 3 years. I would purchase them through the Franklin Mint's Employee Store (before it closed!). This year we haven't made it there yet. I know my friends that work at State Farm have an Employee's Club that offers them as well. Check with you company to see if they offer them. Also, at the local Municipal Building and Library they offer discount vouchers which give you a few bucks off on the bracelets.

Good Luck!!

Bringing back lots of great childhood memories reading about Wildwood. Agree about about Mack's Pizza and the Hot Spot. The best icecream is at the Sea Shell Motel's icecream Parlor. Our favorite is Banana. My parents now stay at the Marlane when they go to Wildwood.

Never had the Sea Shells ice cream. But it looks like a cool place. I love banana ice cream. I'll have to check it out next time we go.

I really do think Wildwood has a great beach. I've been to several beaches that have a sharp incline at the water that can make it rough on little kids. There is no steep incline at Wildwood. Beach erosion is never a problem there.

Here is a disney tie in. One of Morey's piers has a Pirate ride, I'm not sure but I swear I heard them playing the Disney pirates life for me song in the background. Can anyone confirm this. My husband says it's not the same song.

Can any of you tell me where this ice cream place is ?? address ??

I love all the tips here !! I think eveyone's thoughts/opinions are great !!

And the best part is that if you get too tired walking the boardwalk, you can always hop on the Tram car (it's a couple of dollars per person but you should do it at least once!). Watch the tram car please!!

I think the Ice cream place is right on Rio Grande ave. That is the main road To/from wildwood
