When Disneyland opens, do they do a show like they do at Magic Kingdom in Florida? If so, would being at the front of the line at the gate hinder enjoyment of the show?

Also, how does getting there early on Magic Morning days work for those of us without Magic Morning access?

Thanks everyone for putting up with my never-ending questions! :disrocks:

No early morning show like MK. When you do not have MM and you go to DL then you have to of course wait until regular park hours. The turnstiles will have signs to tell you which line if for what. On such days it is often best to skip Fantasyland and Tomorrowland rides in the morning because those rides already have established lines.

Awesome, thanks HydroGuy!! :goodvibes

Whenever I have been to Disneyland when it opens they have some staff including behind the scenes staff (security, office workers etc) standing on both sides along Main Place with big Mickey Mouse hands and lanyards of really great pins, so check that out if you are a pin collecter :)

If you have little ones and make it to the front for rope drop, they could be picked to "open" the park by pressing the button that starts the music/announcement...we lucked out mid-trip in March and the 6yo was excited!
