I was able to listen to the soundtrack for The Little Mermaid musical coming to Broadway (supposedly) Fall '08 and let me just say that it is one of Disney's BEST! It seems that Eric might be more than just a pretty boy...and Ariel sings some soliloquies to the audience while she can't talk. It seems Disney found a way to keep her character strong.

I'm seeing Tarzan in July, and can't wait to see the set design and effects. I can only imagine what they'll do for mermaid!!!

Have they released the soundtrack for the Broadway LM? I remember when Wicked premiered here in SF that there was no soundtrack until after the Broadway premiere...

no-the soundtrack has not been released as the cast has not even been chosen. These were warehouse songs being tested with different voices. I have no clue where my cousin found them.

I don't know if you know that Mary Poppins is coming to Broadway this October also. We're going on November 4th - can't wait!
