I think quite a few places have added healthy appetizers just like the ones you speak of.... and many places have child-portioned chicken or steak, etc.
I think most CS will let you substitute carrot sticks for french fries.
The threads are too long for me to find the post but someone posted a listing of the restaurants that are offering more than just mac cheese/chicken fingers on the child's menu.
Thank you! I am feeling quite relieved. My kids are funny. They really don't like fast food too much; one is a vegetarian (no meat, no chicken, no fish!) They beg me to buy them happy meals at McDonalds--they end up substituting apples for fries, milk for soda-- and don't eat much else! They just want the toy! I kept thinking, "What will they eat in WDW?"
If you are very concerned about the hypothetical changes that might possibly happen to the plan, book your ADRs at buffets. Everything there is included.....for every age.
