More information needed on the Meal Deal

the sippy cup beverage deal was set up as a one day only.

i have read where it was honored on days after the initial purchase.

to answer your question:
i don't know.
looks like universal did give out mummy dust on that promo on some dates.


if you buy the mug that can be bought in the park, they are valid forever for the refill rates.


you do not have to buy the drink mug/cup promo when you buy the meal deal promo.

they are 2 separate promos.

meal deal cups ($8.99) can only be purchased if you also buy the meal deal and you must have the meal deal wristband on to get free refills so it won't work on a future visit... unless you buy the meal deal on that visit.

the 6.99 cups can be bought by anyone for 79 cent refills.

i bought the dueling dragon blue mug w/ handle the year that ride opened.

if i take it with me to universal on my trips, i can get refills for it.
i have been known to get the ap/aaa discounts on that refill....

universal will honor the mugs they sell, for future trips, for refill purposes.

the meal deal mugs, i don't think that is included in future deals, but the mugs you can buy in the parks are reusable.
