Okay, after so many posts I want to give HOJO a try. ;) I think my family will really love the pool, and we really want to try and get that rate!

Turns out the $59 rate isn't available the first two nights of our stay. This is what it says online, I haven't called yet. But I'm assuming it will be the same. Not sure that I want to change my dates, but it's an option. If I call can I pay a higher rate for the first two nights, and then get the $59 for the rest of the trip? Should I wait and see if they'll offer the first two days of our trip (it's June 1 and 2 that isn't offered). Hoping the pros here will help me out here!

The Ent. rate is not available for the last few days of our trip, so I just booked 2 separate reservations, and I'll ask to stay in the same room when we check in. I don't believe the in-house reservations will have any other availibility when you call other than what is already shown on the website for the Ent. rate.

That's a good idea. We were thinking of going with the Disney view, but for the days were staying without the rate that isn't available. So I guess we'd have to switch rooms if we did it that way. Maybe we should just do a standard room for the $59 then! Decisions decisions!

We are in the same boat for our trip in Nov. The ent rate isn't available for the first half of our trip. I called in-house reservations and they were able to give me the dis rate for the first half of our trip and the ent. rate for the 2nd half (same ressie, I didn't have to make two different ressies). They also told me to call closer to my travel dates to see if the ent rate gets released for the first half of our trip. I think it all depends upon if they think the hotel is going to be full up or not (in our case, the first few nights of our trip fall over the Halloween weekend). My assumption is if I wait until a few months before, the HoJo will know better if the hotel will be full, or if they will be offering the ent rate to get bodies in the rooms, so to speak.

Two of our seven days were not showing the entertainment rate online, I called directly and it WAS available. So you may want to give it a try...

So we called this morning. They still aren't offering us the first two days. She did offer us 15% off the first two days, and then $59 for the other 3. It's probably about a $100 saving from our Tropicana reservation. I'm not sure if that's worth it, only because we'll have to buy breakfast instead of having the cont. And it's a longer walk. Would have been completely worth it if we would have had it the whole stay, something like a $300 savings! Not sure what to do now!

We are looking at going down sometime in the spring and I wanted to check the rates for HOJO online. How do I check for the entertainment rate? Do I have to put in a promo code or something? Thanks!! I have never stayed at HOJO and want to check out what everyone likes so much about it!

Okay so we called back and reserved! LOL It's still a savings, and I really think we'll like it, so what the heck. We'll bring some muffins and a few breakfast items in the car, and then do McDonalds for days we don't want to eat those. LOL The lady was super nice on the phone! I'm excited now!

The code for online is sd50. Hope that helps!

You can order it directly from Entertainment with free shipping. The books are good until November 1, 2008.

We could only get sd50 for first 3 nights of trip. So we booked that and are staying at Desert Inn for last 3 nights (was much cheaper).

I bought my book at barnes and noble........$15.00 for the book plus 10% off for being a member of their club.

I had originally bought one from my boys school for 20 but I got no card in front.......so I guess getting 2 is not so cheap, but the coupons are worth it.
JenDisneylandlver ..........I see your from NV too what part? I am jealous of your counter you beat me by a couple of days!

:goodvibes Thank you for the OP and all the posts - I'd never even heard of this hotel but it is now my choice simply b/c of the rave reviews here! Even contacting the staff there, they are stellar.

Any other suggestions for the HoJo, i.e, room requests? How does everyone like Mimi's? Has anyone had a good grocery delivery experience to HoJo's?

Thanks!
xoxoxoxo
