MORE HIFS questions.....

I have never stayed at Holiday Inn Family Suites, but have booked it for our 10 day trip in February. My questions are:

1. How far is it from the Disney Parks?

2. Does joining the Priority Club really mean anything?

3. What themed room(s) have you stayed in...and did your children like the room?

Thanks in advance. I know all these questions have probably been asked before...
...what's the deal with search not working anyway?

We have stayed there 3 times now and have 2 more trips booked. HIFS is under 5 min. from Downtown Disney and maybe closer to 10 for MK.
Just joined the Priority club so not sure of the benefits.
Our themed rooms have been the jungle theme, polar bear theme and train theme.
We have stayed at a few Disney hotels and my kids still beg to stay at HIFS.

Thanks hockey mom! That's plenty close enough for me! (I was hoping for 15 minutes or so...less is definitely better in this case!)

It's an 8-minute drive from HIFS parking lot to MK parking lot. Joining Priority club will give you points toward future stays at Holiday Inns.

If you do a search there is so much info on these boards on HIFS. Our family will be staying there for the first time the first week in December and we are really excited about it.

Thanks for the info! (Everytime I try to do a search I get the "search disabled" message. -- Is it just me? Or is there something wrong with search?)
