I'm so excited....I can even pack our shorts since looks like we won't need them here anymore!

We still need shorts here. I cannot believe it will be October 1st tomorrow and we are still having highs close to 100.

Yep, my sig seems to change daily. It's an addiction. I wonder if there's a 12 step program for that.

So Missy, even though Thanksgiving is still a long ways off, whenever I see your sig it makes me think of it! Do you know what your plans are for that day? Other then eating of course!

Hey Beth!

Yes, I know what I'll be doing Thanksgiving...we're going back to VA. (we alternate the big 3 holidays--Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas--Easter & Christmas in one place, Thanksgiving in the other). Plus, this year, we'll be celebrating my sister's mother-in-law's 85th birthday. So Dad & I are going there the Tuesday before, we'll hang out with them on Wednesday (they don't have school), Thursday will be the big day. Then Friday morning my sisters & I will shop, then come home, then we'll have the party. Not sure where it'll be yet--it may just be at a restaurant. Her BIL & his wife are coming from Kansas, and her SIL & her family are coming from Ohio. Her other BIL lives in VA (in fact, he just moved in with her MIL). They are a big part of our family--the kids all call her Grandma Clara--so it will be nice to celebrate with her.

Then we'll come home Saturday.

Missy, wow it sounds like you will be really busy. That's neat though. I love how you always do so much with your family and you are all so close.

I'll take a peek at your exchange, but I think if I tried to join one right now Ruben would never speak to me again. LOL He just took the minivan in to get repaired and who knows how much that will cost. Plus our trip is in less then 2 weeks.
I hope it goes smoothly for you though and no elves are needed!

I think it's because we have a lot of fun together. Like Sunday night, it was me, dad, my sister, my BIL, my BIL's mom & brother, Jake, Maggie & Matt. We were enjoying a nice dinner when Matt started doing his imitation of a YouTube video we had watched on Saturday. It was spooky how perfectly he did the voice. Then we asked him to do his imitation of Wall-E, and he did that. Then my sister asked him to do an imitation of Maggie--and he did--it was perfect! Everybody just laughed. That kid has a future in comedy--if he wants it.

I'm afraid Olivia is taking after Kate (her mommy). Everyone in our family knows that there is 'time' and then there is 'Kate time'. Kate time runs much later than regular time.

But anyway, like it or not, that baby is coming out tomorrow. She goes in for an induction at 8am! We are so excited.
