More ADR's seem to have opened up for upcoming dates...

For our trip August 23-31, I was able to book Chef Mickey's for dinner today. Also, worth noting, I had my choice of evenings.

There were considerably more choices for my dates when looking today. When I was checking with no preference on a few of my dates for dinner, I had been getting 23-28 results for availability (party of six, accept dining plan). Today I was getting 45.

Yep - I had 2 reservations that I was not able to change from 4 to 5 people and today I could do it for the 26th and 29th of August - YEAH!!!

I just cancelled Chef Mickey's on Sunday 8/29 for 4 people at 8:25 am

I've been trying to change my Chef Mickey adr for 3 weeks and nothing. Then this morning I had a choice of days and times. Weird.

I was able to have my pick of Chef Mickey's for 3 different evenings when about 2 months ago I couldn't get a ressie at all! So happy I saw your orginal post and decided to check!!!

Usally when it comes closer to vacation times Disney will put on a bunch of dining slots, i also came across this last year about a week before our trip so you should always be on the lookout all day long if there is something you want. Just as fast as they become available they dont stick around too long.

In the past few days I've been able to get two reservations I couldn't before. One was Tusker House for breakfast which I was unable to get AT ALL and I even got the TIME I wanted. And the other was breakfast at H&V--I had a 10am but looking at the map,I thought doing TSM and making it back to H&V would be stressful. I've been looking for an 8am at H&V and finally got it today! Woohoo!

Now if only I could get early spots at Akerhaus and Crystal Palace, my reservations would be perfect. I am hoping next Thursday/Friday (the 45 day mark for our trip) as people start canceling, I might be able to grab better time slots.

At any rate, it sure is fun searching every day. It's sort of like trying to find that super popular toy at Christmas.

I got tons by calling the night before from hotel room. Chef Mickey was wide open most mornings if willing to go at 8. For a party of 7, too.
