 To All!

Happy Father's Day to all you devoted daddies out there. Hope everybody has a great day.

Hi, BN, I love you "space reserved" tag, LOL I'll have to come up with something like that. "Lardbutt" just didn't do it for me.

Well, the tag fairy actually took some liberty with my tag. those were not my exact words, but I think the tag fairy has a warped sense of humor. (unlike myself of course:rolleyes1 )

Gotta run for reals now. See ya here and there and everywhere!

Last time I tried that, it didn't work out so well, LOL.
And who says you have to have tags anyway? Just like hubbies......

Moo -- I sounds like you had a great evening. I wish I could have a quiet night. I never get out of the house alone. And it just isn't the same when your home during the day.

Plus it is to darn hot, like today.

We went to Church and then we were out and about. Had lunch, looked at model homes( don't ask) I was his day remember. Went to the D.Q and then the park. Where Hubby and Nicholas are still practicing baseball. Too hot for Hannah and I so we walked home.

My dad has been gone 10 years. He and many of the men in our family have heart diease. He had a Quadtriple bypass, it was good for 12 years and was ready to have another but died in his sleep. My kids never knew there grandfather. But my dad did know Nicholas was on the way after trying for 9 years. My mom told me he thought I would be pretty big when I got further along. He was right....:lmao: He was from Cape Brenton Island. Loved to play jokes on us and just rough house with us when we were small. I do miss him today.

Nab, I havent even started my nap yet.

I was on the phone with IT about access for my new assistant to the drives she needs at work. Answer, sorry that team doesnt work on weekends, try tomorrow. It has been 2 weeks, it's ridiculous! And it was escalated to urgent. Well, that didnt go anywhere either!

My dad has been gone for 26 years now. At least he met my DS when he was 9 months old.
I better try to fit my nap in now or it wont be happening! I have laundry in the washer that I will probably need to rewash just to ger wrinkles out, dangit!

DD took my son to the Y to work out, since he wants to join the airforce. They require some physical exam. I's always somethinng........

Underdog, I need another cognac about now!!!!!!!!

Quick go have your nap....

I wish I could have one too but we haven't even had dinner yet. Since we had lunch late.

Hi, Undie! Happy Fathers Day to you and the other dads you hang out here.
Hope everyone has a nice Sunday afternoon. :sunny:

Thanks! Minnie Moo! I had a nice day went to breakfast with my family and then to mass. Beautiful day here, very sunny and worm.:)

I hope everyone’s day was great!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone!

Nab - We didn't build on our lot because our financing fell through and it got to be where we just couldn't afford anything. We were told we could build the house for one thing and then that changed. So much drama. We ended up with paid for plans for a house no one would build us without getting in like a 40,000 profit. Now the market has dropped quite a bit and this man is licensed and works for a builder. On the side he builds their houses for other people with only a 10,000 profit. So the house will cost us 110,000. Hopefully we can talk to him and there are some other things we can do ourselves to bring the price down a bit. If not it's still better than anything else.

Marita - A small house is better than being homeless. We've been homeless for a year and a half now. It sucks. We can't rent forever, so we have to do something. With closing in the lanai and garage it will be about the same size as the house we designed. And remember, it has FOUR bedrooms! We only have 3 here and I was stressing about child placement with the new baby. Plus it's our lot that we put all our money into because at that time lots were going for upwards of 80,000 for a 1/2 acre and we got it for only 52,000. But, now we could only sell it for like 10,000. We'd hate to lose out like that. Building on it and hoping for the market to increase again one day is the best thing. Its also in the better side of town. More nice country people out there and not as much riff raff.

I might be scarce this week. Do not be alarmed. I don't have Ivy this week so I can going to my Mom's tomorrow and Tuesday and Thursday and Friday we might have to entertain Chad's crazy step mom.

We had like 3 hours of hard rain this afternoon. It was so nice!

Best of luck with your house then. MommyP!

Finished my nap, have to finish laundry now, ugg! and find something for diinner.

Guess what I am watching on TV now? Murder she wrote! MommyP, were you even alive when that was on TV?

Underdog, I need another cognac about now!!!!!!!!

At your service....;)

Enjoy!

Mommy P-- I agree having your own house is better than anything. Even it isn't exactly what you want. You are adding value to your land. Maybe someday you can sell it for a profit and get what you really want. Or find out your really love it there.

We would like larger one too but my nice little house is decorated the way we want( and since we own it can do any colours we want) and I tell hubby it is like a hotel room we have a place to sleep, eat and watch TV what more do you want.....:lmao: I have a wish list too don't get me wrong but all in all we are happy.

Marita glad you got your nap, and Underdog is even serving you a drink...lucky you..

I just had to kids come to the door from across the street. Apparently the older brother is playing baseball and batted two balls in my fenced side yard. :scared1:

I am a meanie that doesn't want my car hit in the drive way with a baseball so I told them they couldn't go back and get there balls. Now if the neighbours on either side lose one in our backyard from theres I usually let them get it or sent it back.

This happened last year too when they use our house as outfield. The oldest one over there can really hit a ball far too. The parents say nothing to him either. He hits balls on the side of their house and has it all dented up too!!:confused3

Hey all! I tivoed the food network challenge disney villains cake show. That's what I'm watching right now.
We have the two youngest god kids so the mom can work on a paper due for school. We took them out to my parents to visit with my dad.
Hope all the dads had a great day!

Nab - you stick to your guns on those baseballs!

I will try Celery but I don't want them to do something worse to my property either.

I wish they would move... They moved in 2 years ago. They leave water bottles on the curb, junk in there front lawn. Alway on the road and don't move when cars come. All the neighbours wait for the day the house goes up for sale.....

HAPPY FATHER'S DAYYYYY!!!!!!
To the 3 "regulars" who have people who call them dad. Be good to yourselves today!!!

We've been camping at Spruces and didn't see the mooses this time. Meese. The Meese usually wander through the campsite, but not this year. Just beaver and chipmunks. Beaver in the beaver pond, not wandering through the campsite. I needed to specify.

I even hiked. Yes, I did.

Just tried out the new father's day BBQ. It was snazzy. I'm full of beef.
Or something.

No Twinkie yet?
