Poly I see you in the hen suit right up front....:lmao:

Now you are going to have nightmares tonight.

I am not a roller coaster girl anymore. Used to love them. That one looks darn scary. Did went on that Jamal ? :scared1:

Not this hen Nab- no freakin way!
I've never been a roller coaster person. I got talked into the RnR and only went because I couldn't "see" the layout. I kept my eyes shut during the ride and then my husband "made" me go and keep them open. i was dizzy for the rest of the week ( have inner ear issues). I get ill just looking at the Hulk at IOA.

lil g - you're more than welcome to come in september. We're just going to be there at the same time and hang out some. Let us know if you can come! We were just saying the other night how much fun it would be if you and WT could come.

Hey Little Blue:thumbsup2 and the rest of you!

Utah, I am glad you liked the Pepsi. I am a Coke girl as I went to Coca Cola U. BUT I was happy to drink Pepsi that day!

So do you LIVE near there, BabyNurse? Nice to meet ya!

OK Little Blue, I can help ya with that roller coaster pic from Holiday world.

The Voyage is the world's longest (2 mins, 45 secs) highest, and I think fastest wooden coaster. It just opened last year. You can virtually ride it at Holidayworld.com. Here are my pics just before my neck snapped:

:woohoo: :woohoo:

you're neck snapped... I guess that's cheaper than a chiropractor :scratchin:

babyn...i thought babies took care of themselves...after being born?

:rolleyes1

Of course they do. There self sufficient.:rolleyes1

spongie - load em up and dump them in Wendy's backyard!!!!

lil g - john s? Do you mean jack sparrow the pirate man? He's pretty like a girl, of course i'll like him! :lmao: Or is John WT's real name? cuz I've been flirting with him.
I'm an equal opportunity flirter. ;)

babyn - caige is too close to gage - I'd be scared the kid would get a scalpel and come after me.
And fable lestat? it kinda has a nice ring to it. How old were the parents? Maybe people still read and it'd be good to encourage them?

John Stockton/Jack Sparrow, I can see the confusion:confused:

I didn't think about a scalpel wielding baby. Maybe it could be a superbaby like Sunny Baudelaire.

I live in the state of Indiana, just like LBlue. But we are seriously considering a move. Somewhere warmer. Florida, New Mexico, or Arizona. Dh told me "just say the word"

I did ride the Voyage last summer. It was pretty neat, but then again I like that sort of thing. The faster and higher the better.:thumbsup2

Pumba:
I liked your response too. Very classy. I thought I'd quoted you but apparently I did not.

Of course they do. There self sufficient.:rolleyes1

I didn't think about a scalpel wielding baby. Yikes. Maybe it could be a superbaby like Sunny Baudelaire.

1. Fable LeStat-maybe instead of a crib, they built this kid a coffin
3.gif

2. Caige-Don't be trying to trick us by adding an I in there. The name is still CAGE:confused: Perhaps his parents worked for the circus and had a magical rendezvous in the tiger cage 9 months ago.

3. Daici- It's probably pronounced Daisy or Daysee, but I see Dicey. What do you think Twinklebug?

Oh I am laughing so hard. OK, I'll get it together to reply..

Fable LeStat- a great sibling name would be Morgan LeFay
Caige- the upgrade a name by adding a useless letter trick...I am :rotfl: at the magical rendezvous in the zoo...do you think the other kids are Kennayl, Craite, Coope, and Pehn???

Daici- I am sure they mean for it to be said day-see, and I know a little toddler named Jacey but really Dicey would be better- at least it is a name from literature

my friends son named his son.........Captain.......I said........WHAT......she said Captain and his middle name is Moxie......I almost said something but her being my bestest friend......I replied.....well that is one of a kind and the baby is one of a kind too......he is adorable ......
Good answer, good answer! I think for Grasshopper we might use General- sounds higher ranking than captain

here's one for you- a girl at my daughters' higfh school is named...

RubyTuesday Rockandroll _ _ _ _ :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh my! :lmao: I recently had a student name Tequila. If DH doesn't like "General" maybe I will suggest "Patron" or even "Chilis" or "Ihop"

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I love Caige's siblings names.

I vote for IHOP. Sort of like Blue's Thumper. Hopping around in utero. I like it.:thumbsup2

The baby names are cracking me up! :rotfl2:

There was a girl in my school named Dande Lyon Gardner. No joke.

A former neighbor of a friend is named Cristal. Guess what her husband's last name is? The name she actually TOOK when they married? That's right. Ball. My mom knew a similar situation with a woman named Robin marrying a guy by the name of Hood. :lmao:

well being Robin Hood could have perks
now Cristal Ball was obviously blinded by love

I went to school with a Kelly Green. Nice girl.
I know an anesthelogist with the last name Payne

none of these are as goog as Dande Lyon:laughing:

And I have a friend who's grandpa was indeed Dr. Suess... not the Dr. Suess just a PhD with the last name Suess

OMgoodness Twinkie, I went to college with a woman named Payne, who became a doctor. Do you suppose it's the same person?

I went to school with a girl with the last name of Raney. Her parents toyed with naming her Wendy Ann. But settled on Leigh instead.

Oh, and hi folks.

Blessings!
MarkyMark

Oh and one more. I heard a girl at the fair calling another one this past fall. The call went like this...

"Fabreezia! Fabreezia, come here!"

Um.

Blessings!
MarkyMark

Well, what do you know? Marky Mark made an appearance!

How are you guys doing? We MISS you!!!!!!!!!! Please stop in more often.

In other news, had a nice lunch at Coral reef today, interrupted by forecast questions that had to be answered, before, during and after lunch, unlike most months. So altogether, this has been a stressful week! I did have the lobster soup (I wasn't thrilled, but i wasnt bad either) and the steak, which was good. Skipped dessert.

Then I went back to the office till a bit after 3, then went home and worked till after 6. I am done now, no more work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was bad and bought a little bottle of brandy tonight, I need it!!!!!!!!!!!

Marita take the weekend off. You deserve it. I told you to start with dessert.

Brandy will be your dessert I guess.

Why oh why do I do yard sales. It is becoming to much like work. I told hubby now of this stuff is coming back in the house it will all go to good will when it is over.

We had stuff in boxes from last year because we got rained out.

Hi Mark how are you and your beautiful family?

Twinkie I would be passing on those names, just saying.

Still no Mommy P?

Nab, I am planning on reading this thread and trip reports this weekend, and maybe get my nails done. I need a something done to my car too, the Maintenance required light has been on for 3 weeks :scared1:
but I hate to waste an "off" day for that.
Having a Husband with a broken foot is really inconvenient! I now have 3 colllection days worth of trash! First was time I forgot, second was Memorial day (no pickup), and this week they came a day early??????
So I better remember for Monday.

I don't do yard sales, I have neither the time nor desire...

Marita how is your hubby doing?

I am guilty of not watering the potted plants on the porch. House plants are huge and are will taken care of though.

I will be away again this weekend. After the garage sale we are heading out. Hubby needs this break and I will to.

hey all. i'm POSting from ben s bat phone. this is hard to use. talk to you later.

Marita how is your hubby doing?

He is still on crutches, putting a little pressue on his foot, but I dont think it looks too good, he looks in pain. I bet he will be out for another week or two at least.

What does everyone have going on this weekend? I have 8 days till we load the truck. I am overwhelmed at everything left to do. Technical difficulites were resolved but I spent ALL evening trying to print out some papers I had to sign and send back TODAY. Why procrastinate Twinkie? Cause the realtor sent them to me yesterday at 6 pm. Print out large adobe file, sign 39 times, return to Big City with DH. Shouldn't be hard right?

WRONG. Murphy's law took effect and I was posting last night from a former student's apartment while on the phone with my DH trying to get the stupid file to forward to another email act because my stupid email will not allow you to see something on the web if you have already opened in outlook.

It took hours.

Argh. pirate:
So glad you worked out your paperwork problems, Twink!!! I still remember getting a cramp in my hand when we signed papers for our house.

I am helping out a friend with a garage sale this weekend and going to a couple of graduation open houses for coworkers' daughters. Other than that, I'm just relaxing and recuperating from the work week . . . although I enjoy doing field work on Fridays, like I did today, because it makes the day go by quickly. How is it that some four day work weeks don't seem any shorter?!

T: Don't you go to Holiday World every year like we do? Dis meet in Santa Claus, IN:woohoo: Hey did you know they'll stamp your Christmas cards for you at their post office with a cute little Santa? And for you nonsecular peeps, we also have a town called Bethlehem that will stamp your cards with a Nativity scene.

Holiday World was voted friendliest theme park. PLUS, with the free unlimited soft drinks, how could anybody not see how sweet and sugary we Hoosiers are? Does our generosity never end?:goodvibes

They also have a water park called Splashin' Safari. Hey, I have a good idea!!! LBlue and I will meet at the water park and take a pic in our brand spankin' new bathing suits and post our pic here right on the Mooooo thread. Won't we Blue? Really, we will.:rolleyes1
BN and Jami, I had never heard of Holiday World before - guess I need to Google it to see where it is located!

Hello all

Hey, Spongie - Sorry you missed out on Jordan's graduation, but I'm sure the party will be more fun!!! I guess I should count my lucky stars that no one minds when I am on the laptop ;)

hey! you guys never responded to my question??? what's happening in sept....?
We can fill you in some night if you want to join us while we are chatting about our meet plans, Lil G!

here's one for you- a girl at my daughters' higfh school is named...

RubyTuesday Rockandroll _ _ _ _ :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:scared1: GOOG ONE, poly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BN, I LOVED the new baby names that you shared!!!

Caige- the upgrade a name by adding a useless letter trick...I am :rotfl: at the magical rendezvous in the zoo...do you think the other kids are Kennayl, Craite, Coope, and Pehn???
Twinkie, here's how I felt when I read this (substitute "funny" for "good"):

Vivian: It was so good, I almost peed my pants!
Edward Lewis: She said she liked it better than Pirates of Penzance.

From one of my guilty pleasure favorite movies.

The baby names are cracking me up! :rotfl2:

OMG!!! How could ANYONE do those things?!

Best name I know of IRL is Kandy Kain. And I have a goog friend whose middle name is Beowulf. Or Beowolf. Not sure of the spelling . . . Now I can look at that as a toadily normal middle name. Plus, it is from literature :)
