Hi Gang!

I'm Glad2BBack. It was a crazy but fun weekend. We did take ds's teams and some of the parents horseback riding through the Smokey Mtns. It was one of those guided tours where you just walk along the trail. BUT, we did see turkey, wild hogs, deer, a Bobcat, AND a bear. Yup, a black bear! It was approx. 50 yards from us, but the kids thought that was too cool.

That's all the boring details I'll share from my trip. There will be a slide show presentation at 10:00 pm. Feel free to join us.

Marita, you're right - it has been so slow here you can work without distraction

I slept in a bit this morning too. I'm going to visit the cemetery and get some groceries this afternoon. It's looking like a nice day here weather-wise.

Good almost afternoon kids !

Hope everyone is a-ok today. The humidity has kicked in here and I've got some kind of curly hair!
Our girls left this morning for their camping trip.one of their friends is a drama queen- called last night at 10 and said her father said she couldn't go- she is the one with the tent and had the food! This morning she calls and acts like the drama never happened!?!?!
My husband is out doing more landscaping. He had a dream the other night that I left him for a man with a lawn service who liked planting flowers I told him flowers were not at the top of my list of priorities
I need to rest up because tomorrow I'm dealing with our attorney and the police again. We found out last summer when our youngest applied for her
1st credit card that her identity had been stolen. Thought there were 7 year fraud alerts on her for all three credit reporting agencies,but turns out there is only one. When we saw "her" credit report we laughed- she bought a car at age 11,stopped paying for her car insurance and car when she was 12, had numerous visits to the ER when she was 13, and started running up credit card debt from 11-14. The police have the name and address of the girl who is suspected of doing this. She is on the Delaware criminal justice most wanted website. She is wanted on 5 charges- 2 of them for "criminally impersonating another". She looks totally stoned in her mug shot on the web page.

Hi Poly!

WOw what a mess! I had my Exxon card number stolen some years back. DH wrote numerous letters, but we never did get it wiped off our credit record It really stinks!

Why is it that Monday Holidays almost always fall at the end of our fiscal month, which means the forecast schedule is really compressed. I am missing an entire day to do what I need to, because they only load actuals once a day, and we are not running the DVC split until tomorrow instead of today, which mean I will not have numbers till Wednesday, and it's due Thursday at noon!!
July 4th this year falls on Wednesday of forecast week, which is normally the busiest day!!!!! Luckily I don't have any plans for that day anyway (what a surprise, I never have any plans, LOL, except for Christmas)

WT, did I ever tell you I hate DVC??

Poly -- what a mess you have to deal with. I don't know I wouldn't mind a hunky gardener. Any gardener send you hubby my way. Hubby cuts the grass that is it. I do the planting and weeding.

Babynurse -- glad to see you got home safely. Sounds like you had a good time.

I am busy getting stuff ready for a the community garage sale on Saturday. We have a lot of junk in the basement. Out grown toys, clothes....etc.

I was telling my husband this morning that we better have granddaughters! We have tubs abd tubs of Barbie's, F-P kitchen stuff, Pet Shops etc.
I just put Sara's American girl tubs in the cedar closet. Our attic is filled with these things and all are in mint condiition. My daughters kept every Lego piece in the correct box! What a sale we could have !
My husband is preparing an area in our backyard for transplanting our azaleas. He can't work too long as he has to go into work 2 hours early tonight. Besides, it is too hot to be out there!

You could make a mint Poly. My first garage sale of mostly baby toys, FP farm , garage etc. We made $700.00 in four hours. The sale is from 8-12.

People said it was like a toy store.... I have woman come back every year to buy Hannah's clothes too because I keep them in good condition. Hannah still wears a bib if we are having anything messy and she just turned 7.

We don't even buy half the toys they have, all comes from Grandparents , aunts and uncles.

Then money we make this weekend will go towards the rest of our weekend. We are going to Great Wolfe Lodge Water park thing Saturday night in Niagara Falls.

Hi everyone!

We did end up going to the open house and I had a good time even though I had a HORRIBLE mirgraine and was sick feeling all day.

Yesterday was church and then I did nothing the rest of the day.

Today we went to the beach and brought hamburgers and hotdogs to grill. My sister and her DH and my little brother came as well. It was a blast. The water was clear and calm so we did some snorkeling. Lots of sand dollars! Chad won't go deeper than he can reach though, so I he didn't do any snorkeling. lol!

I am SO tired now! Can't wait to get the kids in bed so I can do nothing. Actually, I can go lay in my bed now and do nothing and Chad will take care of everything! He's down at the canal(which only has about a foot of water left in it) fishing right now. He took the trouble maker with him.

I won't be around tomorrow morning so don't worry! My appointment is at 8:30AM and we have to leave at 7:30. Then my Mom had some places she needed to go and is taking me out for my birthday lunch. I hope I feel good(ish).

I tried reading Nebos other TR. I just couldn't get into it. It was really hard to read. But, maybe I'll try this one since everyone raves over it.

we have had a great day....we celebrated AGAIN......and our kids got us gift certificates for US AIR.......I am beyond words.....and also gift certificates at some restaurants.....I hate May cause they think they need to get me something for mothers day and then our anniversary and then my birthday......it is to much and I am saying so.......then fathers day in a few weeks after....
I hate to have them spend their money on us......they need to do things for themselves and the kids......

Good luck with the garage sale, Nab - toys and baby stuff go over better than the stuff we usually have. Great Wolf sounds like a blast!

MommyP, I love finding sand dollars at the beach! I haven't done that in ages. When I was young, my Grandma set me a postcard that had the legend of the sand dollar. I always liked looking at the "doves" from the broken sand dollars.

Sounds like you had a fun day, Uma, except for that Norah pull-up!!!

Our church is very service-oriented like that too. When my DH and DD had surgery a while back I ended up declining the kind offers of food, because I was taking off work and my DH is SUCH a finicky eater. And partly because it is difficult for me to pitch in for others since I work full-time. But it was wonderfu having the minister and another friend from church at the hospital with me and my family for moral support and prayers. I'm convinced they helped ensure that everything went well.

I usually "refuse" too, but my sister's wont take no for an answer! I hate when someone comes to help me (after a c-section for example) do dishes and there's a MOUNTAIN of baked on grimey dishes in the sink! EEEEK!!!! As you might imagine me not wanting people to see my imperfections (which are many) but it's NOOOOO problem for me to do other's chores when the opportunity arises. For some reason, it's FUN to do other people's laundry or weed pulling when it's a group of girlfriends doing it!
