WOW, almost unheard of that I am awake at this hour, and I was last yesterday and first this morning.
I woke up a 3 am and 6 am, and then couldnt get back to sleep, so I decided to get up.

Reading the paper for a bit and then start working.

This is so exciting ......a new baby for us all to spoil......Congratulations to the family.....

This mornings paper had a supplement in it for all the area high schools with the top ten. And there was my granddaughter ..Kaitlynn..She is so excited about everything going on....she has had two banquets so far. One for student of the year with 23 others from the state of Maine and then top ten banquet the other night. Then they had a senior grad sort of for the health and science program that was implemented in her sophmore year. She got her cord for that program and then she will get the others at the night of excellence.
So much going on and she is having fun. She will start full time at the Vets office the Monday after graduation. Full time until she leaves for college.....:-(

Nab - I didn't guess a time, because when I came back online I figured for sure she had had him by then. But I did guess a weight, 7-9. I think that's pretty darn close!

CSI was the finale. It's to be continued NEXT year.

I have to clean the house today....and do laundry. We haven't been here all week, HOW could it be so dirty?? I've only gotten the kitchen wiped down. I think I'll recruit Jeremiah to clean his own bathroom.

I think we're planning on going to the beach tomorrow.

I had a whole huge post typed out and when I clicked submit the DIS ate it.

DD and I are going to visit my parents today. They live about 1 1/2hrs away so we will go this morning and come back tomorrow sometime.

Marita - You are posting early today! That's nice you get to work from home. I always wanted to do that but my boss would never permit back when I was working.

Poly - You're going to have a busy day with the dorm! If the dorms are emptying, that means summer is getting close

Pumba - How awesome about your DGD! She must be one great kid! I think being a vet would be such a rewarding job, good for her!

Pumba- how exciting about your granddaughter! vet school is so hard to get into- sounds like she is smart and a hard worker- great combination!

LilBlue- What amazing pictures of Little Boy Blue! All the kids are adorable. I would have been totally tempted to with an O name myself (Olaf? Otto? Oswald?) but then of course you would have had to name the pets: Scissors and Paper. I know what you mean about needing to eat! Those first few meals taste so good! I have had good meals when having babies but the the hospital food I ate while staying with DD was yucky- I wonder if the food is different or just my state of mind?

Lil Blue, what cute kids, one and all! Congratulations.

They just had an article in the local paper today about hospitals becoming more like hotels, offering free internet, travel assistance (this is Orlando, after all), etc. I remember quite enjoying my hospital stay with my kids (pre-internet, but we did have remotes!)

Twinkie, you are so funny!!!

Nab, yes, I did go to bed, but I woke up at 3 and at 6, but my last hour has been less than productive. I will surely be taking a nap later, which will further through my system off!

LittleBlue - I know what you mean about the hospital food! Right after having a baby nothing could be so tasty! I'm soooooo jealous! I can't wait to hold my little one! Although from the looks of my already expanding waist it could be little ones. Which I've always wanted...but not so much now. If I were to be pregnant with twins we for SURE wouldn't be able to go to WDW in Sept.

Thumper is SOOOOOO cute! So are your other ones! I just love your DD's hair! So dark, straight and shinny! Beautiful!

I need to get me a lap top before I have this one so I can post from the hospital...I don't even have any friends with one...OH WAIT! I think my BIL has one...I'll have to check on that and see if I can borrow it.

LittleBlue - Is your DH staying with you at the hospital? We are blessed to have all my family here. So my boys stay with my Mom and Dad and Chad gets to stay with me at the hospital. It would be SO boring without him there! Goog call on staying longer! I have thought about how nice it would be just to go home early. My mom would even keep the boys longer if I asked. But once you go home resting is over. Ya know? There isn't anyone to take away your towels and bring you new ones. No one brings you food AND cleans it up. No one to bring you juice cocktails and slushys. It's really kinda like a spa stay for us Mama's.

BabyN - What are your feelings on Mom's who ask the nurses to watch the babies at night so they can get some sleep, even if they have a DH staying with them? Chad is a wonderful husband...but when it comes to having a new baby he isn't much help. First of all, he can't feed them. And second of all if he doesn't get his sleep the marriage is over. So the last few babies at night I've asked the nurse to take him to the nursery until he needs another feeding. For some reason my babies NEVER sleep until we get home from the hospital. Kaleb actually stayed awake in the middle of the night wanting to nurse for 2 hours straight. I finally gave in and called the nurse. He was a perfect angel for them.

I got the bathrooms done. Now on to my least favorite part. Vacuuming. I would have asked Chad to help me get it done last night, but I had such a migraine. I could barely keep my eyes open it hurt so bad.

I'm leaving my rats nest(hair) down today to see if it helps. I always get migraines really bad in the first and third trimester.

Dang, my early hours are catching up with me. I think it might be time for a nap soon. But my boss said he was trying to schedule a conference call for sometime today, and of course he is not answering his phone so I can get an approximate time, if any!!!!!!!!

OHHHHH a new little baby! How exciting! Thanks LittleBlue for including us! We all all super excited for you! I viewed the pictures and I must say, that is a good looking bunch of kids you have!!!!!!! Love TJ's cheeks! I would be kissing them endlessly!!!!

MommyP- I LOVE my vacations in the hospital. It's my only peace!!! But my babies sleep in the room with me, UNLESS I get so exhausted I'm cranky. I didn't mind the nurses taking my babes for a while. BUT they were endlessly hungry so the nurses would wake me up in what seemed like mere minutes....I only got really mad once because this nurse took it upon herself to give one of my babies a bottle of formula, on day 3 when my milk had come in Even then it was no biggie. I love how QUIET the older siblings are in the hospital. (For once!).

I have fabulous news! JUST WONDERFUL!!!

My DH got a GREAT job DURING THE DAY!!!! See, having him work ALL night and then try to keep 4 toddlers quiet is NOT good for me at all. He totally throws off my delicate groove when he's home all day. I hate to be a selfish b_tch but I yam what I yam! So there's a glimmer of hope. A tiny one. We shall see.



Oh, we're getting an IKEA store here in Salt Lake. This week is the grand opening. We're going for the 99 cent mac'n'cheese (LOL!).
I love IKEA furniture. It's modern and simple.
