What a beautiful birthday girl! And that cookie is a WORK OF LOVE:love:

Nab - She is so cute! I don't think I ever realized she was so close in age to my Jeremiah. He'll be 7 in July. I don't know how that's even possible.

BINGO YOU SAY..........I play BINGO every night before I sign off on Pogo.....it drives me nuts and I could never play for real cause I would have a stomachache worrying......hahaha

IT IS STILL RAINING HERE.......can you believe it......I guess that it means that our gd will be going to the prom in downpours....she is working tonight until eleven and then up tomorrow and gets her things done and then tomorrow is the hair do .......and then photos

Evening, MOOps.

Gorgeous kids and new baby, Lil Blue! Thanks for sharing the pics. Please report in after your visit, BN - it's SO cool that you are able to visit :)

LOVED your suggested pet names, Twink, if Thumper had had an "O" name :lmao:

Yes, I'll be happy to have everyone home for the summer. not sure my girls will agree:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
My DD always chafed a little bit about letting us know where she was going when she stayed home during the summers. All that freedom while at school . . .

I have fabulous news! JUST WONDERFUL!!!

My DH got a GREAT job DURING THE DAY!!!! See, having him work ALL night and then try to keep 4 toddlers quiet is NOT good for me at all. He totally throws off my delicate groove when he's home all day. I hate to be a selfish b_tch but I yam what I yam! So there's a glimmer of hope. A tiny one. We shall see.

Oh, we're getting an IKEA store here in Salt Lake. This week is the grand opening. We're going for the 99 cent mac'n'cheese (LOL!).
I love IKEA furniture. It's modern and simple.
WOOO HOOOOO, Uma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DD just went to IKEA near Detroit on Wednesday to pick up a few things. The Daim candies are yummy! Like mini Heath bars [I'm taking a dieting hiatus - will get back on the wagon Sunday.]

I survived field day.

Tomorrow is the year end Girl Scout swim party. Then Wed is last day of school... the end is insight and I am soooo ready.
Yay! :yay: Will your DS be home from school for the summer too? My DD is heading back to NC Sunday :sad1: We are celebrating Fathers Day early tomorrow night before she leaves - going out to dinner and hopefully seeing Shrek 3. She is out with friends tonight.

Well, after making nice with the GM's secretary (never hurts), sending a bunch of emails, talking with my new associate about her starting Monday (finally got access to our LAN drive, after 1 1/2 weeks) and accepting a welcome lunch for new associate on Monday at the Contemporary Steakhouse and a fair well lunch for another one on June 1 (place TBD), I am ready for another NAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another welcome lunch to come for another new associate, named Glinda! Wasn't that a wicked witch in that movie, which escapse me now (I'm TIRED!) Never met her, the boss hired her.
Sounds like you have some nice lunches coming up, Marita! Glinda, huh?! I think that's the name of the good witch in Wizard of Oz.

Nab! Happy Birthday to Hannah!!! She looks so sweet.

Have a nice holiday weekend. Our long Memorial Day weekend is NEXT weekend.

Found the Bingo link, got 1 card (or 3 on a page) printed, and the dang printer died!!!

Oh well, enough to get used to it i guess.

I had to get her to smile to show her missing teeth. I wish Hubby wouldn't have got all that junk in the back ground.

Moo -- your grandpuppy sitting again. Your going to miss them when they go back.

Mommy P - is Jeremiah your oldest? Hope they get to play together in Sept.

We got a call from Nicholas baseball coach tonight, his first game is Monday.:scared1: Of a long weekend. Hope we have enough players.

I wonder how many people realize they have to pay taxes on the winnings on game shows.......... Win a $50,000 car, and pay $10k more in taxes.. unless you income average, which most people would require an accountant for. and then you just end up paying a few thousand more in taxes..

I know but can you tell me why Canadians have to answer a skill testing question when we win stuff in Contests etc. Even at McDonald's when they had those games and you won food. :confused3

I turned off the Bingo game to weird for me.

I heard alot of people who won on Price is Right left their prizes behind because they didn't want to pay or couldn't afford the taxes on them.

Nab, I heard there is some law in Canada that requires those questions, but I can't remember the details of why :confused3 I am vaguely thinking it's to make sure you are not stupid enough to fall for some scam, but don't quote me on that.

I guess I should look it up sometime. I never win anything so I don't have to worry about it...:lmao:

Are you still playing Bingo?

No, not playing anymore, I only got one gamecard printed before the printer died, I did take a short nap, actually two, but I am still out of sorts. 6 AM and me are just NOT good together!!!!!!!

I turned on House Hunters, I love that show.

Which reminds me, TWINKIE, we still need details of the new house!

I love watching House Hunters too but it isn't on here now. It comes on at 3:00 in the afternoon everyday.

I think I will head to bed myself. Hannah has a birthday party in the morning. The mother invited the whole class...20 kids. Dont' know how many will be coming with the holiday.

On House Hunters just now, they had a bathroom with a refridgerator, coffee maker and micowave! WHY??? This is a $1.7 million home!!!!!

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!

Sis, What? You don't have a mini-kitchen in your master bath? LOL. We toured some homes like that once when we were staying in Hilton Head, SC on vacation. They had a "builder's open house parade of homes" and many were a couple million. One had a closet half the size of my downstairs. A few had mini-kitchens off the bedroom so you could relax and have morning coffee or a bedtime snack without facing the rest of the family.

NAB Cute photo of your daughter's birthday, and the cookie looks great. Nice job!

UMA Congrats on your DH landing a dayshift job. That will make life so much easier on the entire family.

Morning All,

I think I remember you, funny lady with a hubby that never takes off his hat...:lmao: Why are you up so early on a Saturday?

I just sent my hubby and son off to try to cross the border. They have a hockey game in Buffalo at 2:00. They are pretty excited.

Hannah and I are heading to a birthday party instead. So boys day out and girls day out.

But it is cold outside this morning again. No surprise there it is always cold on this weekend just for the campers....Sun is out though.

Hope Everyone has a great Saturday!!!

Goog morning, Kay and Nab!!! And everyone else!

I am up earlier than normal for me on a Saturday. It is not sunny here. When Mari gets up, we'll figure out something to do together today. She is heading back to NC early tomorrow.

I was defragging my computer and deleting some files last night, it had gotten so slow. It seems to have helped a little.

Kay, are you working on your final trip story chapter? Looking forward to it.

Hope your DH and DS are able to get to their game and back home without any border delays, Nab!

MommyP- Sorry I didn't answer your question. It's on abc on friday nights. You get to play along at home when you print off a bingo card from abc.com. There's prizes galore and you wind up in a huge 50,000 dollar drawing. SOMEONE has to win, right? It's great fun for my boys because we printed off like 20 cards! We were one away several times. :3dglasses but so were a lot of people!

Thanks for all the "congrats" on DH's new DAYtime job. It really will be better having MY groove back.

Haley! I love all the girlscouting stuff you do! I can't wait till Norah is a Daisy scout (kindergarten).

Nab- Hannah Banana is SOOO cute! My 7 year old sone Riley has the same missing tooth! He likes to slurp spaghetti noodles through it. That cookie looks yummy!

Good Mornin - Waiting 20 min before I wake up the kiddos - DH is camping this weekend, he's training adults to be Better Boy Scout Leaders... DS has to go to training for his summer job - Lifeguard!! (he has a job!! :yay: )

Prom Night for DS #2 his girlfriend is a senior (and valavectorian! shameless brag!! lol) No common sense - her and her best friend snuck in the house and a snipped off the glow stick tubes and shook the inside chemicals all over his room - :sad2: and on his bed positioned sticks (not snipped off!) to say Prom? weird... completely...

DD and I had a great mommy and me day yesterday - hope to continue it today! We did a ceramic shop - painted a flower bud vase ('m giving mine to my mom!) and a knick knack box for Father's Day (coin jar?) It was fun, and while you paint, you converse... great investment that!

So we're planning on shopping for a curtain, and I think I"m going to try and isntall a shelf for her room (dh has it on his to do list for over a year mind you!)

Tomorrow we'll go to the Art Institute!
