No. I was just teasing him. He is a lot younger.

Here is my favorite commercial. Raise your hand if you thought it was a real game the first time you saw it...

True. Any wolf whistles?

On another note: Ack!!! I cut and pasted my Grasshopper update into email to update real life people. I edited Grasshopper to Gabe but not Twinkerbell or beurk. I just realized this today when I sent the email yesterday.

So when you start hearing people use "beurk" just remember that the Babynurse coined this phrase and I am the one who allowed it to escape into the wild.

TOP 50????

how much tv do you watch? or do you mean over your long and industrious life? I was saying that is my favorite current commercial.

Moo: The reason I free associated the show "Once and Again" was b/c I had just typed the words once and again. I do recall that chick from "sisters" ( a show I never watched), Sela Ward, being in the show, along with that guy from "The Rocketeer" (Billy something) and that the middle girl is now dating Marilyn Manson. What's her name? Oh yeah, Evan Rachel Wood. I bet her parents are proud.:scared:

Wendy: I love the "orbit" Commercials too. There is an off chance that when I'm being silly mom at the grocery store I'll pick up a pack and say to the kids "Dirty Mouth? Clean It Up with Orbit". I try to get that gals accent right, but I'm not a professional ya know.

Sandy: Doing the "Im going to WDW" dance?

Monica: I love proud mom moments. Thanks for sharing!

WT: What's wrong with that commercial? Maybe you just don't share the same passion for food as some of the rest of us in this world.

Twink: I like that commercial too. I think I want Subway for lunch.

Pumba: Snow is melting? I bet you are sooooo sad.

Lex: Hope you weren't late for work!

In REALLY important news, the dh came through. He called me on my bday to tell me that he had screwed up. He was trying to get Colts/Chargers tix for Sunday, but long story short, it fell through. He could tell I was really disappointed, but I didn't say anything else about it.

Well, this morning he called and he said "Find a babysitter, we are going to the game!!!" I know he had to pay more for the tickets, but apparently I'm worth it.;)

I'm so excited. Happy Birthday to me!!! It most likely will be the last game ever at the RCA dome, and it's a playoff game, and it's PEYTON MANNING!!! Woo Hoo.:woohoo:

That is all. Carry on.

Whoohoo BBN!!! Happy Birthday.

And you are worth it. He told me so. ;)

What do you mean I don't share the same passion for food? Didn't you see my pink and brown suit?

I didn't realize that was you. Somehow I pictured you more "lawyerly" and less "ice cream sandwichy". I stand corrected.

Lynette....I have lots of people on the birthday list who are on the peeps thread. Maybe we can combine to come up with a goog birthday list.

ATTENTION: ONLY 12 MORE SHOPPING DAYS TIL LYNETTE'S BIRTHDAY!

1. Thanks for the PM, Melinda. I replied, but only to say I'll REALLY reply later today. :thumbsup2

2. YOU are a goog friend! Are the rest of you paying attention? You can PM the Crazynurse Posse for my IRL address in order to forward all baubles and bangles purchased for this milestone. Thankyouverymuch.

So when you start hearing people use "beurk" just remember that the Babynurse coined this phrase and I am the one who allowed it to escape into the wild.

What? You couldn't throw in a "wonky" for me? I'm wounded.

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!

Yay! You "Ack'd"!!!!! You are a true Vocabularette.

Now that is FUNNY! I'm sure your real life people will get the picture. I mean, really, who wouldn't know what a beurk is?

Warning: I just ate a plateful of broccoli stir fry. :cool2:

Yay! You "Ack'd"!!!!! You are a true Vocabularette.

Ack is the new.... well I don't know what the old ack is. I DO know it it the next big thing. Next to beurk. Nothing is wonky or smarmy about my vocabulary choices. Fer shure.

I need one of those funky new wave dictionarys to keep up over here.

Twinkie that is so funny. Someone's gonna call you and ask what were you on when you wrote that.

Or, if they "know" you, they'll just roll with it.

Afternoon, MOOvers . . . I am home from work today - had a wicked sinus headache all day. I can finally see and think straight.

I was watching a movie on HBO and the screen just went blank :scared1:

DD was sitting here watching move tiles... :rotfl2: I didnt realize it was so late, she said, can you ask her to just let you win one game?? :rotfl2:

ah dd - she does have a hard time losing, so I'd rather she watch me lose and have fun (I keep lol at some of the words I create!!) then win at all cost (a problem she has!! she tends to cheat at games, which makes all of us leery of playing games with her - so I like her to watch people lose and still have fun - its all about fun, not so much winning and losing...
Sandy, tell your DD it may not be a matter of "letting" you win! The game is still very much a toss up, since the board is so limited!!!

are you still awake Moo???

I'm waiting to play one more word... :rolleyes1

not that I'm addicted or anything!! :rotfl2:
Sorry, I had to finally give it up and go to bed  I have finally figured out a little word to play.

:guilty: Guess I was guilty of skimming . . .

WOO HOO on your birthday tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The snark is cwacking me up today. As is Twink's IRL e-mail. I have to be SO careful about what I type at work these days

OK, I'm off to make my other Scrabulous moves. I'm telling you Twink, you'd LOVE playing!!!

Hi Moovers,

Sad day here in Orlando today. The fire dept was doing a controlled fire near I-4 that got out of control and mixed with heavy fog about 4:30am this morning. That resulted in people not being able to see a thing suddenly. There was a 70 car/tractor-trailer car pile up, some trucks turns over and burnt out, with some fires and explosions. 3 people dead, over 30 in the hospital, some critical.
People reported they could see nothing, but hear crashes all around. Even the police had to go by foot to check things.

I-4 between Kissimme and Lakeland has been closed all day, most likely still tomorrow, while the cleanup continues. Lots of people were forced to take country roads and were late for work (excused, but not paid) but I much better than being in that pile up.

Sandy and Allie, if you are still around, that should not impact you travelling from the airport.

And GOOD LUCK!

I saw that on the news, Marita. It looked horrific. So sad.

Did it affect your commute or did you stay home today?

I checked my e-mail from home this afternoon once my headache let up. I may be off work all day tomorrow too. I'm having a problem toenail fixed tomorrow morning. Not looking forward to it.

Mony, I enjoyed hearing your proud mama moment too. Today I was reading our local school report and there was an article in it that was written by the current band director giving a history of our school's long band tradition and how great it was to see multiple generations of families at band events. It brought back lots of goog memories.

What a busy day.

Marita -- I saw that on the news too. Really sad....:sad1:

Loved all the commericals this morning. I have seen a few of the ones W.T's was talking about. And I know of the Subway one and thought that too was pretty funny.

Moo -- are you get the high winds there too? It is really crazy here today. Hubby took me out for lunch and their was this old couple trying to get to the restaurant door. I thought for sure they would blow away. Even I had a hard time walking the kids to school today. Sorry to hear about the headache and toenail....ouch.

Sandy-- are you all ready now, maybe napping....Good luck!!:wizard:

Babynurse-- bonus on the tickets. Thought he was taking you to the Phantom ....you must have really been good this year.:rotfl:

Twinkie - So glad to hear that Grasshopper is doing better. How scary to have to go through that.

Marita - That's all they talked about on our news tonight. Hearing those people's accounts of what happened were so scary! They were reporting here that the reason for the accident is the first people to hit the fog/smoke slammed on their brakes and it was just a chain reaction after that. People do that same thing in the rain in FL. As soon as you drive into that wall of rain people always slam on their brakes.

Moo - I am so NOT disciplined. Thankfully it has just been melting away. I feel like I am eating too much. Hopefully all those extra calories I'm supposed to be burning while breastfeeding keep burning. ;)

When does Sandy leave? Where are you staying, Sandy?

WT - Thank you for sharing those advertisements. You are really the woman in the second one, aren't you? It's been nice to have you around, BTW.

Lil' G - It's goog to have you back too. Are you doing a TR?

Isaac's appointment was not the best. He weighed in at 7 pounds 13 oz. Which is 5 1/2 oz less than last Friday. His DR. said I needed to supplement with formula. Then they weighed him again and on a digital scale and he was 8 pounds. But he still stuck with the supplementing thing. So after we left there(and I shed about a million tears) we went straight to the hospital to talk to a lacation consultant. She wasn't the least bit concerned. She watched him nurse to make sure he was latched on right and getting something, which I knew he was. Then she said that they get Mama's in there all the time because my Ped. said to supplement. So, I guess he isn't a big breastfeeding advocate. She has me nursing him and then pumping while someone else gives me the breastmilk in a bottle. She said if Dr. Hatesthebreast wants supplementing then we'll do it with my own milk. He goes back again on Tuesday to check his weight. I pumped this afternoon and he wouldn't even take it after nursing. He just wasn't hungry. I guess you can't force a baby to take a bottle if they aren't hungry. And if he isn't hungry after nursing then he's obviously getting enough.

On the bright side, my new beautiful sling came in the mail today. It's soooo much easier to use than my old ring sing.

Time for Isaac's bath. Which I dred. I hate giving bath's before the cord comes off.
