It's only 30 degrees here in paradise. Shoot, that's flip flop and tank top weather after the single digits of last week.

Hey! The tech geek is coming in an hour to fix our mother board (new). Yay! I'm DISing on the floor, people! With a short cord.

My kids are sledding on an incline in our backyard and Jordan was just showing them how to light bottle rockets with army men attached. That's what boys like...sending army men to orbit.

Fun times, UMA!!!!

YAY on the tech guy coming over. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS, BBN!!!

I took the liberty of shopping for a few things for your birthday . . . enjoy!

Moo, you are the undisdisputed google queen! And now just what to look for!

I especially liked that last shirt, Marita ;)

Another day closer for Sandy and Allie! WOO HOO!!! Sandy, I think Scrabulous automagically started another game between us :confused3

Nabbie, glad you got your house back finally :thumbsup2

Pumba/Cel - I had a goog laugh today picturing Cruella trying to hide from Megara.

MommyP and Twink - Hope things are going well with you and our thread babies today.

Pretty much all of our snow has melted :scared1: It was over 60 here today, too.

I have a field trip/meeting tomorrow. It'll be great to get out of the office.

Thanks again for all the birthday greetings. You guys are great.

Moo: Loved the pink camo. You ARE the google queen.:worship:

ETA: Snarkgirl! I forgot you asked about my bday plans. We will actually be celebrating NEXT weekend when we are going out to dinner and to see "The Phantom of the Opera". Yes, of course food will be involved. duh. ;-)

Um...or something? :lmao:

ETA: All this bum-laying has really enhanced your powers of perception, Marita! ::yes::

Phantom Story - my bestest friend in high school and college, a theatre major - we lost track of each other - he moved with his love to Calif, I of course here - I dreamed he died... and I called his dad, found him, he had a "reunion" of our high school clique - I think I spent 12 hours with him - and I'll never forget that last hug, as we said goodbye - and I dared to tell him of my dream... he of course lol - 8 years later, he died.

and I went out and bought Phantom of the Opera, and to this day, that is "our" show!! Wishing you were somehow here again, knowing that you never will.... well *sniff *sniff, I know it means something entirely different in the play - but for me - now you know!!

oh, and of course Andrew Lloyd Weber was huge - and as soon as I could, I found that Joseph was playing in chicago - so I went to ticket master and said, "what can I get with this $$ - the answer "well actually if you go next Wed its a buy one get one free - so dh, and both ds and I went to see Donny Osmond in Joseph... "any dream will do.." (8 rows back, center!! And when the show ended, and they took their final bows, ds and I were waving "I LOVE YOU" in sign language, and Donny signed back!! That was before we knew he had deaf brothers! way cool back then!! Happy memories to replace really sad ones!)

<<<<back to your regularly scheduled thread>>>>

(amazing how the closer I get to this challenge my mind wanders!!)

Thought you might enjoy our favorite color of camo :lovestruc

Was the Trollop shirt too goth?! Or maybe too "out there" to wear in public :rotfl2:

It's been years since I saw Phantom. Have a great time!!! Where are you going out to dinner??

Sad story about your friend, Sandy.

L, looking forward to your birthday too. Gee, we need a birthday calendar.

I will leave you with a pic of my poor grandpuppy. DD and Cash were out hiking yesterday and he cut his paw, so he is wearing the "cone of shame" for 10 days.

Yes, my DD's hair really is streaked with that lovely shade of pink

Just checking in before I go to bed.

I am not liking making lunches again.:sad2:

Moo-- are you getting that bad weather I have been seeing all though Medium. Tornado warnings and thunderstorms. Poor grandpuppy. Lovely shade of pink , at least it isn't all her hair....:rotfl:

Nabbie, it was stormy earlier - several thunderboomers. The puppies were pretty nervous about them. I don't think it has rained all that much though. It is supposed to be around 60 again tomorrow.

Amen that my DD didn't dye her whole head of hair a bright color! The color in the photo isn't quite accurate . . . must be the lighting. But you get the general idea.

Poor Cash looks so pitiful in that picture :sad1: She said he was really cuddly last night.

I thought Medium was pretty interesting tonight.

I'll probably check in on the batphone tomorrow if I'm not driving or I get a break during the meeting.

Nighty night.

Last edited by NAB : Today at 11:28 PM. Reason: Skating starts tomorrow for Hannah and swimming on Wed. for both oh fun,fun

Why swimming????? It's January, for heavens sake!

Moo, I think your DD's hair looks very colorful! Kind of cute though!

Poor puppy!

OK bed time here!

At least it is NOT Monday tomorrow!

Good Night!

Moo check on a product for the pups called "Rescue Remedy" its homeopathic - but really calms them down!! (made from flowers - truly goog stuff!!) and not to toot my horn, but my bday is on the 8th, yes I lied on Myspace/Facebook, I was told not to tell!! :rotfl2:

Just stopping by - dh is on his laptop, ds is on his laptop, so I thought I should check in on the dinosaur laptop!! :rotfl2: We're quite the family

Moo did you see the psychic challenge on Lifetime? OMG Angelica Houston reminds me of the psychic from N'orlens!! NOW I know !! :rotfl2:

Nite all, dh has the late shift tonight!

Sandy, are you saying it's your birthday?!! :dance3:

I have some Rescue Remedy somewhere - maybe in my glove box :confused3 It's not storming now, fortunately. But I can't sleep tonight :guilty:

DH usually runs our TV (because I hardly ever pay attention to it), so I haven't seen that show, but Anjelica Huston was pretty goog on Medium tonight.

Have a great Tuesday, night owls!!!!!

GOOG MORNING, MOOOOVERS! :sunny:

Finally up at my "normal" early time since I was asleep before 9 last night.

NAB....My hair was NOT sticking up yesterday! I KNOW! I was surprised too! I tried to shower without getting it wet. Heh. I didn't have to go into the office yesterday so I didn't want to re-do. Lazy hair day.

PJ....Don't you have to go back to school soon? One more semester? Rough life down there....BCV and now the Poly. Long commute to work, huh? ;)

BNCG....Hope it was happy, darlin!

Moo & Celery! I have not forgotten Scrabulous! I will play today when I'm on my lunch break. I have been un-DISed at work!

Mooo.....The cone of shame! Po' Cash! I always feel so sorry for those poopies I see wearing that thing. Good to know it comes in formal attire!

MommyP & Twinkie....Take care of those sweet boys! We miss you. Check in when you can.

Wendee....Sledding? It was 70 here yesterday too. I brought New Moon with me to pick up DS at school and then just let him play on the playground til he asked to go home. (pssst....I finished!)

Sandy & Allie.....I'm getting excited for ya! :yay:

DTD.....Nobody in Lexington likes losing to UofL but it is especially bitter when Traitor Rick is at the helm. Did his hair look a little TOO fluffy to you? Has he had some work done? Wouldja Kouldja U! Go Toppers!

Marita, Lynette, WT and everybody.....:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY!

We had Tornado Watches here last night. Big!!! Thunder Storms. Just the craziest thing here for winter. It's 60 out!? That's Cawazy!

My neighbor knocked on the door about 8:30 and said let's go walking! We did power walk through the sub and got to see 2 owls just hanging out in the trees. Rare and cool!

I help when needed, but for the most part, my boys pack their own lunches and make their own breakfastes. Trying so hard to teach them independence.

I just can't teach them about time management.

Have a great day everyone!

I couldn't read all the way back.

But I saw enough to know that two people are leaving soon for WDW. Lucky ducks! I am having major notripinsightforaloooongtime depression. Have fun!

Happy Belated Birthday to BabyN! What are you now? 25? ;) Are you the one going to see Phantom?

I hope it comes near here one day. I would LOVE to see it!!

Things here are good. Isaac slept a almost 4 hour stretch last night. It was wonderful. He is going down in his own bed on his own now. I only bring him into bed with me to nurse at his 4:30 feeding. He is a good baby. He doesnt wake up crying at night to eat. I just hear him over there trying to suck his fingers.

I have to go and empty the dishwasher. Everyone have a good day!

Moo - Sorry about your little Grandpuppy! And your DD hair. ;)
