You know those shows on TLC of mamas of "quadtuplets" who run in 6 different directions at once? ALL she wants to do is brush their teeth or put on their coats? And when the last of the litter finally falls asleep at night she collapses and looks at the camera and says something like, "It 'll all start up again in the morning." as her eyes roll back into her head and she sleeps in her jeans and apron?

I'M HER! MommyP, I love you even more today! It's day 2 of having kids for 14 hours straight. In Dec., this gig is up and I'll have paid bills and Christmas presents I totally EARNED. Thank gosh the day care kids are goog. Norah is free to a good home :rolleyes1 You can mis-use ANY word you want. You earn it, little mama!

MISTY!!!! I loves your new toy!   I found another needed McMonopoly piece! We are one away from the sweet life, sister! Keep eating those burgers!!!! LOL

Melindy- Thanks!!!! I guess I "oughta-should" update before all this funny is wasted. ;)
Jordan wants MiMi's e-mail, for some reason. Hopefully he can spell and articulate. He insists he likes her just as friends. Heh heh.

woohoo! what do I win for correctly guessing the sponge-misty Mystery gift?

MP- sorry you don't feel well, and you don't really know what mute means ;)
Pumba- sorry about the foot- glad you feel better today
DTD- have fun at the wedding, catch the bouquet
Utah- you are on fi-yah tonight funny lady :rotfl:
BBN- have fun at the ro-de-O
Lalijack- hi!

and a big shout out to everybody else I know I have missed!

Twink and Pumba, sorry to hear about your ouchies

Wendy and all, I appreciated all the humor today . . . helped me recover from a busy day at work. It was the kind of day where I felt the need to pick up pizza on my way home.

Lex, I went by Blockbuster and saw the HUGE Spiderman cutout in the window. I didn't stop because I was on my way to pick up the pizza and didn't want it to be cold when I got it home. I do still need to rent it.

Misty (and Wendy), congrats on your new toy!!!

Looking forward to those TR updates :rolleyes1

Hi, Nab, Marita, MP, Caf, Cel, E, PJ, etcetera, etcetera!

TGoshIF!!!!

Lalijack- I love reading incentives! Sounds like fun! I think I'd really have liked to see the pretend Blue Man's Group...well worth the readin!

Wendy, I love 'em too! Luckily, both my kids think reading is a goog time, so the incentive program doesn't cause a back-and-forth between us. Some of their classmates' moms have complained about having to "force" the reading time. Who needs that drama?

BTW, the Blue Man Group wasn't a knock-off version...it was the actual Blue Man dudes! They just did a 30 minute long version of their schtick instead of the full show for the school's enrichment program. Apparently, the principal has a friend who's a promoter for whatever venue they were appearing at in Boston. Friends in high places.......:rotfl: (Unfortunately, only the parents who actually served on the PAC were allowed to attend the in-school performance! )

lynette - how do they clock hours? Why not clock books? What if someone is a fast reader? or a super slow one?

Cel, parents are responsible for charting their own child's reading (number of minutes read as well as number of pages read, along with the name of the book). The parent sends a weekly signed worksheet to the child's teacher. Teachers pass along a month's worth of worksheets to the parent who's designated to track the contest for that class. I think this explanation makes it sound waaay more complicated than it really is. But y'all know what I'm trying to say, right? :thumbsup2

ETA: Hi Twink and Moo! You girls snuck in while I was jabbering on about reading incentives. heehee

You guys are falling apart....:lmao:

Hope all the sick people get better real soon.

I don't even know what a Cricut Expression is:confused3 Looks complicated.

Had a busy day with the kids. I feels like I was running all day. We just got home.

Donald-- if you don't catch the bouquet at least try for the garter. Do they still do that? Have fun!!

hey y'all. we stole the kids for the weekend. It's been good so far, except quentin is teething. Tammy's singing to him now. hehehehe. He likes it because he doesn't know any better! :lmao:

spongie - Yay! use it! tell me what it's like! do online demonstrations! I want one, but I'm broke.

utah - keep up the good work with the daycare kiddos.

lex - let me know how spiderman 3 is. I haven't seen it yet.

ok. On the cricut thingie -
is it pronounced cry cut or cricket?
Tammy and I debate this everytime we're near one (yes, I visit them in the store. :rotfl2: ).
It looks like it should be cry cut, but they use a cricket on their logo.

nab - it's a really expensive toy that I would never use. But I still want it!

hi moo! hi donald! hi everyone else (aka twinkie)

lynette - yes. sounds very complicated. does it require a spreadsheet for computations?

wait.
where's Marita?!?!?

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Going to help out at church today....at a registration thing this morning and cooking for another event this afternoon. Good times.

Spiderman 3 was pretty goog....right up until I fell asleep. Yep. But it was toward the end. Lots of villians and kinda corny this time. Conclusion: Not as good as the other two but still worth seeing.

Misty....Congratulations on the new machine although I have no idea what it is. If you wanted it and you're excited about it, that's good enough for me.

Wendy
...You're right about working on the trip report. I stopped by over there and the natives are getting restless. I'll pm you the info for Jordan. Goog job on holding down the fort with the sextuplets. I barely have the patience for one sometimes.

Pumba
....Hope you feel better soon.

MommyP
....Can you take extra vitamin C when you're pregnant? Hope you feel better.

Where was Marita last night?

Cel, Lynette, Moo, BNCG, PJ, DTD, NAB, Twink...everybody.........:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Morning all,

Got to sleep in again....:woohoo: Even though it really isn't sleeping in when you hear them down stairs banging cupboard doors, yelling no to the cat, laughing and playing loudly. There for it is more like I got to lay there longer.:rotfl2:

Now we are up and decided that we well head to my mom's for the weekend. Hubby just wants to get out of painting that hallway.

Moo -- he was checking on hotels for Saginaw all week and they were all booked or very expensive. Almost came to see you.

Lexi-- thanks for the movie review. Cooking again. You do great work for your church.:goodvibes

Celery-- glad you have the kids for the weekend. Tammy must be feeling a little better I hope.

Hope all the sick people are feeling better, Twinkie, Mommy P and Pumba.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Note to self: Morning spark should not be drank (drunk?) at 6 PM. Even if you do have three kids for the weekend and need to clean the house.
Ha.
I didn't go to sleep until 2:45 AM.
And then Quentin woke up 3 times after that (thank goodness Tammy went to get him, but it still woke me up.)
Then at 5 am Tammy had a nightmare and screamed "JEANIE!" at the top of her lungs.
It woke me up but not the kids, but with Jeanie coughing and Quentin making grunting noises, I couldn't get back to sleep.
When I did sleep, I slept until 9 AM.
Anthony was awake and had Quentin playing in the floor of their room. Awww! He's such a good big brother!
I guess I can forgive him for keeping his nose stuck in his Nintendo DS the rest of the time.

Nab - Have fun at your mom's!

melinda - Have fun at church. I swear you're there more than you are at home.

To everyone else - where be you? Wake up!

YAY for (sorta) sleeping in.

Hmmm, I wonder what is causing all the hotels near Saginaw to be booked up :confused Maybe football playoffs . . .

Did your hubby look for a hotel in Frankenmuth or Birch Run, Nabbie? Some of the Frankenmuth hotels are pricey because they have multiple pools or mini-water parks inside them. Oh well, have a nice visit with your mom.

The puppies have had a traumatic morning. I trimmed their nails on their front paws and they didn't like it a bit. My legs are all scratched up. I am taking them for shots this afternoon.

BOTH of them got out of the fence this morning. Previously, Sukie was the only one who had gotten out. Good thing Don saw them and they stuck pretty close to the fence. He needs to secure the fence at the bottom now. It is farm fencing, not chain link, but it has kept our dogs in previously. Darn little escape artists!!! They are snoozing now.

I better go get my shower.

Hi, Lex! Don't work too hard!!!

Cel and Tammy - Enjoy your time with the kiddies :dance3:

lynette - yes. sounds very complicated. does it require a spreadsheet for computations?

Cel, no spreadsheet required. I think my "explanation" just made it sound confuzzling. :confused3

Hey, you're right....where IS Marita? I haven't seen her here or over there. Hmmm......

Hi to Melinda, Moo, NAB and anyone else who's poking their head in here.

We are in the midst of what was Hurricane Noel. Really high winds, heavy rains, etc. Luckily, we had no CCD today (scheduled day off) and Boris' last soccer game of the season had to be canceled. So I am chillaxing in my yoga pants, sweatshirt and fuzzy socks. Ah, life is goog........

Hi, I'm right here. Just haven;t been in a posting mood I guess. All is well.
My DS is on a cruise to the Bahamas right now, and DH and DD are off to a Lacrosse game. So I am lounging around myself. Sounds like a great day to stay home, Lynette, I love those days when I dont have to leave the house.

We had crummy weather all week, cloudy and rainy, but finally today it's a clear sunny day, 80 degrees. I should probably go out and do something, but I don't know what, LOL. So I am just sitting here watching TV a little and reading TR's.

Hope all that were not feeling well feel better, and everyone have a great weekend!

Hi Marita! Goog to see you! I'm glad to hear you're just bum-laying and not under the weather like so many others. Seems everyone is either sick or wounded around here, doesn't it?

I'm really loving my lounge-y day. The kids are enjoying it too...a Saturday with no scheduled activities is a rarity in this house.

howdy partners........I feel great...its just my foot that does not feel quite right yet.........I tried on the shoes I am wearing to the wedding next Saturday in NYC and they feel like I poured them in and they are wicked tight....will wait until Wednesday and then decide if I need to get a scuff type shoe to go with my dress.....geesh.

Hubby just came back from having to get a new bladder for the waterbed.....it developed a leak on his side........I told him I was dry....whats the matter..ROFL......so a new mattress will be put in later....this will be our third bladder since 1980......Will always remember that cause we put the waterbed in the same day my dad died.....so it will be 28 years in january......

Hope you are all okey.......i am not testy anymore and not down in the dumps either....waiting for tropical storm Noel to hit......winds could be dangerously high.....and two to three inches of rain.......so we shall see if I have to swim ......

Hey Pumba! So far, it looks like they overestimated the strength remaining in this storm. We've got rain and wind, but nothing out of the ordinary, thankfully. Hope it stays this way. I think Cape Cod is getting hit considerably harder than points north.

Lynette, bum-laying is always good in my book. I am very proficient at it, a Master, even :rotfl2:

Pumba, I bet your foot will be better by next week, don't worry. I was kind of worried a tad when I read "Hubby just came back from having to get a new bladder .." I had not quite gotten to the waterbed part :rotfl:
So I guess it's all good. I think 3 bladders in 28 years is pretty good, no?

Hope everyone makes it through Noel OK, he left us some bad weather this week, but not too bad. It's beautiful now.

Wow, quiet day today!

I am watching the Pillsbury bakeoff for the $1 million. Goog times!!!!:happytv:

Evening MOOvers! I'm finally back from runnin the roads. Took the puppies to the adoption place for their shots, since I tried too late to get a vet appointment for today - 3 hour round trip. I stopped off at my favorite deli in Ann Arbor on the way home and got a reuben sandwich, garlic potato salad, and some other things that I really shouldn't be eating :rolleyes1

But I did share my deli treats with some friends who I visited on my way home (a couple of my coworkers who are neighbors and both have dogs who wanted to see the puppies again). My sister and her friend stopped over at my friend's house so they could finally see the puppies! They loved them.

Rare sports talk from Moo: Today was the big Michigan State University/University of Michigan 100th anniversary football game. My DD's alma mater, U-M, won. There are going to be some unhappy people at work Monday! ;)

It will be fun to see the losers pay up their bets. A couple of my coworkers had this bet going: the person whose team won gets to put an article of their choice prominently on display in the office of the person whose team lost . . . FOR 100 DAYS (in honor of the anniversary)!!!

I am actually pretty neutral and don't really care who won, but it is fun to see this sort of thing :rotfl2:

WB, Moo!

It's been so quiet all over today, I thought maybe a bomb wiped out the rest of the US!

Glad you are having so much fun with the puppies, Moo. My day consisted of loading the dishwasher, doing some vacuuming, and washing a doormat. Oh, and reading some trip reports and taking a nap. I really do need to get a life :lmao:
