Feel better soon, Twink

I think I'm going to bed early tonight too for a change. I have a book I'd like to finish.

Just have to fold a load of clothes first.

The puppies are both sleeping on the footrest of DH's recliner right now. Sooooo cute! Jasper gave me a dirty look when I took a flash photo of them :rotfl:

Great Moo, sounds like they are really warming up to Mr. Moo. Post the pic for us.

Twinkie, feel better!

My son was doing some work around the garage today, and found a small basket of old picture. Like really old, from my childhood, from when the kids were babies, from their elementary day. I veritable treasure trove of pics. I don't knw how they ended up in the garage in a flimsy plastic basket.
I will have to do some work sometime soon to put them in albums or something. I need a crafty person to help me!!!!!!!!!! HELP! About 30 years of difference in time, I dont know where to start.

I found a favorite picture of my son, when he was about 1 1/2, totally naked, carrying a big red umbrella in the rain, bringing in the newspaper with a huge smile on his face. The paper is about 1/2 the size of him. And you cannot see his privates, *ahem*

ack! I made an error! And I didn't realize it until lil L quoted me!!!

How do I "still" a Lauren? Eek!

and I was only laughing cuz I have voices too! only mine aren't babynurses.

go to sleep!

I'm going too in a second.
I thought maybe that's how they say "steal" in Nashville. A lot of people here pronounce "steal" "still." I thought you did it on purpose because that was the effect you were going for! And here I was giving a simple typo more credit than it deserved!
Hold yer horses. I'm going to bed soonishly. I keep finding one more thing I forgot to do. Which reminds me. I need to pack my lunch if I want to eat tomorow.

I am watching the Colts. Go figure. ;)
Oh great, looks like the total mind takeover is well underway.

The puppies are both sleeping on the footrest of DH's recliner right now. Sooooo cute! Jasper gave me a dirty look when I took a flash photo of them :rotfl:
Do we get to see said pictures?

Marita...don't you just love looking at old pictures?

Night, all.
:grouphug:

Marita- thanks for the instructions! They'll come in handy soon for my TR to do the BBB part I posted on that thread. You just made me even lazier, it that's even possible.

Moo- what is a hiney hider and where can I buy me one?

MommyP- I've been wanting to ask you about your nursery (for a GOOG reason, by the way) sounds great! And is it Americana at all? Or just those colors? Your present is after Twinkie's by a week, so don't go too early :rolleyes1 I may need your home address soon too. ;) I promise not to stalk you.

Lexi- Yay! Now, semi permanent looks DARK at first...don't panic. It will fade. I bet Emily looks beautiful!

Sandy- LOVE the new name! So very Tigger of you!

Spongie update- she cried and cried at the Parade of Dreams :cloud9: I love her so much! I new this would be the best day ever for them!!!! Tomorrow is Universal Studios! WATCH OUT Sponge Bob!!!!!! :cool2:

Here is Jasper glaring at me for waking him up!

I saw him at the craft show Saturday and he wanted to know when I was bringing them over for a visit, LOL!

Moo, adorable pic of the pups:love:

I guess Don finally warmed up to them.

well dagnabit it took so long to load, and I commented to dh, I forgot what I wanted to say to
PJ

Uma - I just  your Spongie updates!!! Did I mention we were in the WDW MK parade our last day??? I know kinda cheesey, but gosh darnit, I loved every moment!!!

Hi Sandy, great to be you!

Get that great bright attitude and be happy :hippie:

You are a lovely lady with a great daughter and hubby (and I am sure sons too), nothing to be depressed or melancholy about.

Here is a cheerful song, I don't know what made me just think of it, but I always thought it is such a happy song:

With tuppence for paper and strings,
you can have your own set of wings.
With your feet on the ground,
you're a bird in flight!
With your fist holding tight,
to the string of your kite!

Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height
Let's go fly a kite
And send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

When you send it flying up there,
all at once your lighter than air!
You can dance on the breeze,
over 'ouses and trees!
With your fist 'olding tight,
to the string your kite!

Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height
Let's go fly a kite
And send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

*sniff, nothing like Mary Poppins - it is a great big beautiful tomorrow.... Thanks Marita!!

sandy! - glad to see you! I've been having a lot of blah days too.
it's no fun.

I'm still seriously considering getting pregnant in a year or two -
but I need to do research on antidepressants and pregnancy/breast feeding.

or! Some of my pregnant friends and/or babynurse/psych nurse friends could tell me what they think.

remember, I'm on 50 mgs of prozac a day and still get blah sometimes.

ok, gotta say it... :rolleyes1 careful what you wish for!! I have no prozac experience, and you have such a huge heart - just do your research, and take things one day at a time!

What do YOU think?!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually, I was just in a conference room waiting for lunch to be delivered. Chicken schwarma. Yummmmmmm.

:yay: So long sad Eeyore. Glad to see ya, Sandy!!!!! You have another trip to look forward to soonish. BE HAPPY!

I personally was thinking of going sans hubby, but whatevah works for others! Goog luck on your DD's hair project. I am still telling myself "it's not a tattoo" over my DD's blue streaks.

Wendy, thanks for the Spongie update. Glad they're having fun (not that there was ever any doubt)!!!

Marita, sorry to hear your assistant had a carpy weekend. :thumbsup2 on the ice cream social!

Pumba and Nab, it was pretty nice here, but I was stuck inside working all day.

 Sending hugs, Cel. And Tammy.

Just wanted to ditto you Cheryl!!!

UMA, Lexie, I shoulda taken pictures the day I colored my hair after a perm... :scared1: ORANGE Bozo hair... :scared1: I called a hotline, they told me to put an ash or some such on top - which I did... I got more compliments on my "highlights" :rotfl2: (there was a HUGE event I wanted to look my best at!! :rotfl2: )

DS 22, engaged, (wedding date Jan '09) still in college long story, he's hard of hearing, rough, prejudices interupted his schooling... anyway... HE GOT AN A+ on an English paper... :goodvibes I'm so proud... and yet, I still feel, as my first born, I know... but he's still my baby!!! He wants me to come visit him - and oh yeah, can I bring his fiance!! :rotfl2: but of course!!! This weekend Homecoming, my alma mater, vs. his college!! :rotfl2:

oh and Cheryl its awfully cold out here now!! I have to up my milage running (yeah, I mean wogging!!) 80 something days till the half marathon :faint:

Goog night!

I just finished catching up with Donald's TR. It's pretty good!

Moo- I love your wuppies  The picture of them playing with Autumn looks like the top puppy is scared...awwwww! I want a little doggie too!

And, I can NOT imagine Don was thrilled about being drug onto the stage for Hoop dee doo! :cool2: I just read that on the TR I was just reading.

Sandy- No I didn't know that! Yayyyy you! I would just love to be in the parade! When the people are lining up to watch a parade and we're walking the parade route, I pretend I'm a princess and wave!!! But don't tell anyone! princess:

Gooooood Niiiiight! I'm beyond tired. Which is great! :cloud9:

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

But actually it's not sunny here today....it's raining. Which is OK...we need it. Wait. Does that mean I'll have to cut the grass again this year?

Goog News
....DD's hair turned out lovely! The drug store where I got DD's prescription didn't have a big selection of semi-permanent but we did get a "dark neutral blonde" which looked great over her "hideous orangey blonde". It's a little more reddish than I had hoped but she's happy so I'm happy.

MommyP....Garbage pick? Noooo. The appropriate term is "curb shopping". We have many curb shop finds in our house including our current living room sofa...that we get soo many compliments on....really. When I was pregnant with DD14, DH took oldest DD (then 3) out on a curb shopping excursion. They came back with 4 old chairs. DH put them in the kitchen, I walked around them for about a month and finally said "Get these ugly chairs out of here!" He proceeded to take them to an auction where they sold for $400/each and we put central air in our lil house the very next week. True story!

Sandy! You were in the parade?! That's awesome! Was DD soooo excited?!

Moo...I'm trying to draft DSIL and my sweet lil niece to go on the trip next year with me and DD14. It's a no-go for DH again next year and DD17 will be going on the senior trip to NYC in April so I don't feel sorry for her. I think my all girls trip might just work. DSIL says she is on-board and DN10 has never been to Disney World! I KNOW! Cute pictures of your friends son with the puppies. How do you get a kid that age to fall asleep on the sofa?

Celery
....I strongly dislike Tammy's workplace now too. Hope she feels better soon.

Twinks....Is there anyone on the prairie to pawn off Goldenchild on while the Twinkie twins are at school? Maybe you could get some rest? I guess you can't really take anything for the symptoms when you're pregnant can you?

Marita
....Scan some of those pictures! We want to see them!

PJ, BNCG, Guys, NAB, everyone
.......:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!
rainyday.jpg

Rainy day #2 here in Cincinnati.

You'll all be relieved to know (or couldn't care less) that I finally slept last night.

Lexi....glad the hair turned out! :cool1:

Have a wonderful Tuesday.
:grouphug:

:wave2: Y'all

Lex:
glad the hair turned out, and on a side note, this week is drug prevention week or something at the kids school, so they have different themed days and talk about not doing drugs. Thus wearing a hat will keep you off drugs.:thumbsup2

Celery:
Yay for you!

Moo: Love the pups!!

Sandy: Your new username is oh so less confusing. I'm sure PJ will appreciate that. hee hee hee

PJ: Glad you got sleep. for reals.

Have a great day.

Good Morning/Good Night Moooovers!

It's a 'Fine Soft Day' here today... :umbrella:

Pray everyone has a safe and happy Tuesday:goodvibes

Morning all,

It is raining here too. Glad it is Nicholas picture day and not Hannah's. It would have did a number on her hair. Nicholas he can just leave it and it will be fine.

P.J.-- I thought you had hat day too.

We have orange and black day coming up for Halloween. This is the first year they can't wear there costumes. That is fine with me. Then I know there won't be lunch spilled on it or or pieces missing when they come home and then go back out still wearing there costume.

Sandy-- Love you changed your name to Sandy321. I was wondering where you've been.

Moo-- Puppies are cute as usually, I know I asked before but do they say that small?

Twinkie and Tammy -- hope you feel at least a little bit better today.

Lexi-- glad the hair thing turned out.

Mommy p-- wasn't your redneck boat a curbside find too...:lmao: Love the idea's for the nursery. Can't wait to hear your other ideas for the house once it gets going.

Well since I cleaned all day yesterday, I am heading to the mall today. I have to find black jeans for Nicholas and a black headband for Hannah.

I went oh, wait, is today October 17? Yep!! My 37th wedding anniversary
I totallly forgot. :scared1:

Hubby said he had trouble finding white roses (mixed in with red). He was looking for them because 37 years is Alabaster!

How very nice! Congratulations, and that was very sweet that your DH remembered and bought you roses!

MOO Great Pictures! How cute!

MommyP I see you asked where I have been lately. I must have read your mind and shown up in response. Thanks for asking. And caring. :)

Today is the first really slow day I've had in a while. No work so far. Scary! I have a new appreciation for the fact that I had way too much time on my hands before, and had hours per week to write my trip report during work hours. If we had been as busy as we should have been, I wouldn't be laid off now. Ironically, I have been doing far more work for the company now that I'm laid off, mostly because most everyone has found other jobs, so the remaining work is divided up among a handful of us. It's brutal though paying my own health insurance etc. It's been quite a while since I was last self-employed.

I wanted to check in and see how the DIS meet went, but I'm so far behind reading I wouldn't even know how many pages to go back in search of your commentary. Someone tell me what page to go back to or give me a thumbnail sketch.

Have a great day, MOOOvers!

kay - Good to see you! Glad you're staying busy.

twinkie and mommyp - I was kinda dumb and started working on Mommyp's presents before twinks. duh.
and I haven't worked on them again because I moved the sewing machine upstairs and since tammy's still feeling bad, she's downstairs.
I'll get mommyp's done this weekend.
maybe.

lex - I REALLY strongly dislike them this morning.

Tammy woke me up crying at midnight last night because she was in so mucch pain. I finally got her to go to sleep around 1:30.
When I got up this morning, her ear was full of blood again.
So after I leave, she calls in to work.
they want to know when I'm bringing the paperwork for something that was due and told her she needs to finish the rest of the paperwork on another person that's due tomorrow.

she's on 2 valium and 2 lortabs with blood coming out of her ear and they expect her to work.

Oh yes, my friends. You too can have this job if you have a college degree and want to work constantly for 24,000 per year! It's so great!

And here I am making quite a bit more complaining because I'm bored.

but she doesn't want to quit. and her clients/individuals make her happy.

anyway.

so I get to run by her work after awhile. Hmmm. I wonder how this will go.

wish me luck?

I was going to say more to everyone, but I got irate. Sorry.

Good morning, sunshines! ;)

Where are my moops?
I need y'all to talk me off the ledge!

I WILL get vindication for my tammy. somehow. Now I'm pestering the foster agency. Not that they will answer.

Howdy all!

I didn't go back to bed this morning and I didn't have to clean(well that's not true, I just didn't do it, again.) so we got an early start on school. Another productive day, we're almost done!

I really need to get back to the library. We went on Friday, I only let Jeremiah get 3 books, 2 easier ones and a Magic Treehouse one. He is already finished with them all. I hate not having anything for him to read. I'm trying to cut WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back on TV and video game time. Chad likes to plop them in front of it so he doesn't have to deal with them. Even though I tell him that they behave SOOOOOOOO much better when they don't watch TV at all. So we need books around the house! Plus Seth has finished his book. But he doesn't mind reading it over and over. Almost every word in the book ends with the long O sound. lol

Wendy - I don't think I am doing the room Americana, I just like those colors. I'll probably throw in some beige too. I'm not positive about anything except my walls WILL be super deep dark blue so that color will also be in the bedding somehow. I also like red. They are colors that can grow with the baby.

Nab
- We did NOT curb shop our redneck boat. That would have been like stealing it from some kids who left it out. ;) We found it on the side of a 4 lane road a good distance from any houses.

Celery
- I forgot to say a super huge CONGRATS on your size 16!

Kay - Glad to see you check in! Sorry about your work. Insurance is KILLING us. I am just thankful we have the state insurance for the kids or they wouldn't be insured anymore. With just Chad and myself on the insurance they are taking $400 a month from our checks. Which leaves us making the of equivalent $16.50 an hour. Which has been very challenging to work with some weeks when he doesn't get as many hours. I am not sure of the page numbers with the talk of meets. I had a great time meeting, Moo, Celery, Tammy and Nab at WISHES. And I got a chance to get a quick hello in with Wendy after Fantasmic. Marita, however, abandoned us and didn't come to Fantasmic so I didn't get to meet her! I also got a quick hello in with Melinda.

Have a goog day everyone!

Hi everyone! Just a drive-by to say hi.

I've read back over the past several pages of posts, so I'm all caught up, but I'm lacking the time/caffeine to post something witty or usefu. So I'll just wave sweetly :wave2:.

Crazybossman is jumping around like a hen on a hot rock. GRRRRR!!!!!!!! I'm thisclose to killing him. :sad2:

(keep sharp objects away from Lynette)

MommyP - I think that is one statistic that is so overlooked in the health care crisis - we are insured thru dh's work, but we still have to pay so much from his paycheck per month for that insurance, as well as every time we "use" the insurance we're still paying huge deductables and % - its crazy!! Now we have Blue Cross Blue Shield, and they just had a "fight" with the local hospital (the only hospital in the county that does heart surgeries, and critical care for newborn/premies!) .... well, I'd better get off this topic... and I totally need a nap!!

Hannah Montana tickets? If people wouldnt pay those scalping prices would things change?

head still hurts, going down for a nap, forgot what else I was going to say to others...

Celery :cool1: on sz16 and :wizard:

Sandy- Salt Lake just added another Hannah Montana concert night!!! Not that I can go this time. We all like the show but are not THAT in to it.

We are getting the High School Musical Musical ON ICE show in November!!! I don't think so since we saw the street show and loved it. Save your money Utahmama!!!

Christmas is coming and stressing me out! Luckily, my DS9 only wants a football and Pokemon cards  Norah is wanting a twin doll...and I found one by Madame Alexander at Costco that looks just like her! Score!

MommyP- I love that you're recycling a curbside treasure into a baby changing table! I totally dig that kind of thing. I love thrift stores and yard sales too. My only cool find was a little rocking chair with many many layers of paint on it that I stripped and re painted and stenciled Dallen's name on.
Those colors are so gorgeous! I think a light beige would go great with the blue you described. I think I 've got juuuust the ticket to add to your layette. But first, one of these daycare mamas needs to pay me so I can fabric shop. I have to really be speedy with TWO dis-friends expecting!

Kayyyyy!
Ohhh I'm thrilled to see you! Really! I toadilly miss you! Keep in touch little lady! You are a one of a kind, super cool, irreplaceable, much loved, Moo friend!!!!! :grouphug: !!!!! Oh, and at a TR near you, you can read alllll about all our meets ;) We're much nicer in person and hardly crazy at all :3dglasses

Celery- I suggest you sneak a happy pill from Tammy's Rx (;) ) and breathe. I didn't just read that her work is requiring her to get back to work, did I???? Those monsters! Stress like that is not goog for healing! Do they not understand what she's had done and the complications she's having? GRRR!

Melinda- I'm glad to hear about Em's hair! Luckily, redness fades fast. You may have to repeat the semi permanent color again in a few weeks though. Leave it on 10-15 minutes longer than it says, trust me.

lalijack- get some caffeine STAT! We need your witty and usefu comments! I've never heard the saying "hen on a hot rock"..I'm guessing he's hyper or jittery? I found an Energy drink that has 160 mg. of caffeine in a large can (2 servings?) that is by Arizona Tea - it's green tea-ish but tastes like coffee soda-GROSS! But it does the trick.

Nab, Moo, Marita, CowNurse, Peej, Boys, Girls I missed, snack cakes, and anyone else- HELLO!!!!
