It is like a summer day out there. All my windows are open and I am hot from doing housework. Scared Buddy with the vacuum. He went a hiding.

If I sit down to long I won't want to finish my house work....

I just heard that Misty's son Camden got to lead the parade!!!! No kidding! Bet she's glad she got the "First Time" buttons now! She said the band would play faster or slower depending on the speed of his conducting!!! She said her kids are kind of in a daze...Hee hee!

Tammy's not doing so hot. I left work early to come home and take care of her - or put more drugs in her.

we've refilled the lortab and the doctor called in some valium for her muscle spasms.
I think I'll give her two next time.
(it says she can have one or two, but she's still pretty much freaking out, so I think two is the new one.)

lil g - don't hate us for using pain killers! I swear I won't let her get addicted!

So I took knitfreak, asst #2 and Internal Control Guy out this afternoon for ice cream. Actually, the girls opted for Gelato from Beach Club Marketplace instead of Beaches and Cream (they are both on a diet). Anyway, we had great Gelato and sat outside eating it and chatting for about 45 minutes. We all really enjoyed it, and with 20% discount, it only cost me $8.50, well worth it, I might do it again in a few months.

So knitfreak had her date with the guy from the dating site this weekend. When I came in this morning, I looked at her without saying anything, because a phone installer was there at the time. So looks at me and says: "It's over". I went, oh nooo!!!! We were all so hopeful it would work out. So we went to my office to chat about it.
Anyway, long story short, they did spend the weekend together (a long weekend, ahem). But she decided that he had too many inconsistencies, thinks he is a liar (his profile said he is 5'9", he is really 5'6") and various other things, and she decided he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Anyway, when last he left her yesterday, he thought he is cooking dinner for her on Friday, but she is going to kick him to the curb tonight.
So back to the dating site for poor knitfreak. So, after her weekend, she decided to go for the NOT sugar free Gelato as a reward, LOL.

So between the weekend update and the ice cream outing, we wasted a good two hours at work today, but well worth it, it's TEAMBUILDING!

Oh, and Cel, I finally did figure out that thing in your siggie, but I am NOT crazy enough to add it to mine

I watched Oprah today - Randy Pausch a professor has terminal cancer, and he did an amazing power point - one of the slides he asks are you tigger (ie joyful) or eeyore (depressed) life is short...

maybe I need a fresh start!! I have been suffering melencholia lately - I figure its just the post WDW blues... but everything piles up... and brings me down... so I just took a break - the Oprah show has given me the courage to be me!!

hello everyone......today was the day to just sit back adn enjoy......I didnt have any kiddos until three this afternoon.......so first I went for a good walk up to the college and back and it was so beautiful .....then I talked to my sister for over an hour.....then I ate my lunch .....then went out in the back yard to read number two of Harry Potter.......I am not 100 percent sure that I am liking this sort of book......will let you know..
Then I went to Dunkin Donuts with a dollar off coupon and got a dozen donuts....so the kiddos could have a snack after school and I wasnt going to eat one......HONEST.......but ye of little will power......I did...ate just one though.......It was a honey dip or a glaze whatever you want to call it...
My friend was at the Boston game the other night.....not last but the other night and she was on tv when the camera panned around.....she has tickets for thursday night too......she won those.......

Hope you are all doing good.....relax Tammy and rest and just listen to good music.......maybe that will relax you......hugs to feel better

This is exactly what I was thinking, Wendy. So we bought it. At the drug store. While we were buying our $40/oz tube of prescription hydrocortisone cream. Hopefully she will have lovely, medium blonde hair and itchless skin when she goes to bed tonight.

And the book wuz gooood! Kinda cute and a little scaryish...just enough for DS. The books are small with not many words on the page (like series of unfortunate events) so I read 45 pages aloud in about 30 minutes. There are 5 books (that probably could've easily been one book) and I guess they are all being made into a movie that will be released next February. Looks cool though.

NAB....You're so right about the hair. It could've been worse. I learned that when DD17 bleached her entire head platinum blonde over the summer.....It's just hair...not a tattoo....It's just hair....not a tattoo. Rinse and repeat.

Peej.....Here's the thing....she couldn't find a hat she liked! I KNOW! So she went to middle school sans hat! And worked it. Apparently. Because she got some compliments. We're still set to correct it tonight.

I'm still seriously considering getting pregnant in a year or two -
but I need to do research on antidepressants and pregnancy/breast feeding.

or! Some of my pregnant friends and/or babynurse/psych nurse friends could tell me what they think.

remember, I'm on 50 mgs of prozac a day and still get blah sometimes.

Hi all!

I decided I needed to start my week out goog. So I stayed away from the DIS. lol. I cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed the house, wiped down the kitchen, did a productive day of school, got 2 children to nap, folded the laundry, kept the house picked up, made dinner AND mowed the front and both sides of the yard tonight. The kids are all in bed and soon we will be watching Prison Break.

So staying away from the computer worked!

Twinkie - Get well! You have been hanging on to this cold for WAY too long!

Luthor - I also agree with my Dad. Of course it is he who has taught me everything. lol. Next Friday should be the end of the chapter, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. (thanks for missing me! )

I have a appointment on Wednesday. I also am going to Joann's to look for a the materials I need for my changing table(we garbage picked a bathroom vanity that we are making into a changing table. ) and to look for a pattern for my sister so she can make me a crib skirt, bumper pad and quilt. I want something in blues, reds and white. I am painting the top half and ceiling (of the nursery, if the house is ever done) DARK DEEP blue. It is going to be way cool. I hope.

Well it's about time to start Prison Break. We Tivo it and start watching 20+ minutes into it so we don't have to watch commercials. We do that with everything.
