I'm coveting your weather!! It's gotten so chilly here in the past few days....like someone flipped the "Autumn" switch all of a sudden! On one hand, I miss my sandals and having the windows open. But on the other hand, I do enjoy the change of seasons - and we're nearing prime bum-laying season. If anyone is looking for me from now until early May, you can find me in my cozy pj's, on the couch, with my laptop.

If I ever get off the couch, I'll bring my wood cleaner and some snacks....we can hang out on your couch together! Deal?

..oh my, then there's one my favorite.., reality is.....self evident truth,
that never changes...however, it is mankind interpations..that
leads us astray?.....* what's , its only been the last few years...
i have came across these lil'discoveries....so alot my life has been
by accident..except those special people who gave me so much. i have
had a very diffcult life..* when you have to "fight"..just to be treated
normal, that shouldn't be surprising...nor am i very smart....or even
looking the part....but it is nice ..to look back, and realized my blessings.
..but i think the most amazing thing..about life, is how some things
can seem so bad...turned out so amazing.


..i saw my lil' getting off the school bus..wow , the fall lighting,
was making her beautiful redhair..just radiant. she made me realized how
lucky my world is truly is.....

now you should 'see' the scrapbooks..i am making for my all my family-

....even a 'surpirse' one for my lil'miss cutie..pie! .

just a lil'reminder..she is all i have talked about..only better/more!

..does this make sense/..she is the most beautiful person inside , a
person would ever want to meet. oh, she has her moments..but even
those....make her prettier... . & we had our diffcult times,
but part of my own fullfilment..is being able to do things now, to
make her ..faith in me..."pay off"! [ phooey on her mean
old mother..he,he,]..ain't i a "stinker"...ps, i always liked the la' prefume
skunk from looney tunes...

and who would have thought..making friends ? thru cyber space?

..i guess that's what i like ...about life~ you just never know, until

Well, thanks for the intro, Lil G! It was a BIG night here in Lexington last night!!! Kentucky beat #1 LSU in 3 overtimes!!! It was a five-hour game! A guy I went to high school with was named offensive coordinator a couple of years ago and KY has been winning ever since. I hate to give him all the credit, but HEY! He deserves a good bit of it. I'm so proud of his success!

UD....DD went to C Across the Universe yesterday too!

Twinks.....So cute about the mimmie mouse pancakes! DS will be a big help with the baby. At our house, the farther the sibling is from the baby's age, the more help they are with said baby.

Lynette....I wiped down my cabinets yesterday too as they are painted and anything shows on them. Prime bum-laying season??? I like it!

NAB...It's been cold all week here too but warmer yesterday. I'm avoiding turning the heat on. I can stand it to about 65 in the house. I've had the stove on a little this week just to take the edge off. RE: IL's anniversary....Our anniversary is just one week before my IL's. They can't remember the kids birthdays but they always remember our anniversary! One year they showed up at our house and were like....what are all these kids doing here? Ummmm.....it's DD's birthday party.

SANDY! That's horrible about AKSunshine's sweet baby! They must live in KY or Indiana since they were taken to Louisville hospitals. Did you meet them at the Glow Party?! I will be praying for them. Not sure how you'd ever get over a loss like that. The boy that caused the accident needs some consequences. (OH! Thanks for the heads up on Legally Blonde! We watch some of it! Laura Bundy is from Lexington!)

it is 42 right now and no heat yet........the dog did get into the middle of the bed last night and PUSHED me out......so I got disgusted about two am and slept on the couch until SHE went to bed on the couch and I went back to my waterbed.....geesh..

When we go hunting........its me and the great outdoors.....I get worried sometimes ......and when we went Moose hunting a few years back......there are no toilets or electricity either.......again me and the great outdoors.....I made hubby stand guard one time cause it was pitch black out and the critters come out of the woods to get to the roads.....and also didnt drink but one 8 ounce cup of coffee so I would not have to use the outdoor potty in the middle of the night.......hey a woman does what a woman has to do.....

Sorry I've been MIA- life got in the way of everything. And to top it off, GM is moving the product from my husband's plant to one in Bowling Green Kentucky after the 2011 model year. So, we're praying they bring something new here and not close this place. I sure don't want to move to Kentucky
( no offense Kentucky moops).

I'll make a point of posting more .

OUCH! It's not so bad, poly, but I understand why you don't want to move since all your family's there.

GOOG THINGS ABOUT BOWLING GREEN:

1. It's warmer there than where you live.
2. There's a nice college there so your kids won't have to leave home.
3. It's an easy 12 hour drive to Disney.
4. DTD lives there!
5. It's ony 50ish miles to NashVegas and you can meet Celery and Tammy.
6. It's only 20 miles from my hometown of Franklin and I can stop by and see you when I come down to visit.
7. It's not rural and has lots to offer as far as shopping, restaurants, activities, et.
8. It's a beautiful part of the country and Mammoth Cave is only a few miles up the road!
9. It's only 100 miles to Loo-uh-vull, the Derby, and BNCG.
10. All of the above.

We came close to transferring to Tennessee in the mid 90's and that nearly killed me. We investigated the area and were shocked there wasn't a Catholic church or school anywhere near where we'd have to live. That was a reality check,for sure! Turns out ,we didn't have to leave and I was deliriously happy.
We'll have to see how this plays out. GM likes to play these games to get tax concessions and incentives from the states where they have facilities. They also play games with the local unions.
If we have to go for a few years, I could handle that. School isn't an issue as ours are in college now. My mother is a big issue as the four of us are the main family for her,even though I have three brothers. My husband has a good job so I think we'd take a transfer til he could take his retirement. That is,if they even offer transfers to his department.
GM has played this game here before and I had a stomach ache for a few years. I was a nervous wreck and I'm not going to do that again.

Glad to have you back with us, Poly!!!!!!! We have GM in the Lansing area, plus many other parts of Michigan, and I have seen all those tactics here. Some of my extended family have worked there and a couple still do. Hope things work out OK with your hubby's job.

GM built a new plant at a greenfield site near my coworker's brand new, beautiful and expensive home a couple years back. They decided to move mainly for other reasons (they decided they wanted to raise their kids in a subdivision where there were more kids for them to play with). My coworker still has not been able to sell her home.

I am heading over to a friend's house this afternoon for a little get-together with some work friends. I'll be taking the puppies to show them off. Should be a fun time They were goog little riders to and from their adoption yesterday, so that part should go OK.

I think it was a LITTLE to deep in some parts of the movie (The Beatles really never got to deep in thier music). But I reealy liked the begining and the end but the middle not so much... I think the idea was great, I would love to see a MUSICAL...

Well let us just put this way. DS is a pretty smart cookie and has already figured out that babies and toddlers are chick magnets. So he is VERY helpful whenever we are out at church or school. He likes to carry Goldenchild who would prefer to walk. The two of them together attract alot of teen girl interest.
