I really need to think about little twinkie costumes- Goldenchild has a pirate and Captain Hook costume that might still fit. Twinkerbell wants to be Barbie, the Island Princess or a cheerleader or an angel or a pirate. Princess Twink wants to be a tree

All summer we haven't had a drop of rain and NOW it's pouring all the time. I'm glad to hear the weather has been more normal in Orlando. It has been a rainy mess here for like a week and calling for it all this week too.

If you could send some rain our way that'd be GREAT. It hasn't rained here in like forever and it's soooo hotT. Yet I still have that umbrella, NurseBabe. Wishful thinking?

PJ: That picture is sooooo Hollywood. Love it. I recall the redhead making a spectacle of himself the last time we ate at Akershus. I'm SURE you guys remember the story.

I don't think it's one of Ariel's "approved" poses. I think she was giving us some attitude. Does the story involve a chair?

good morning!

I had a rough night last night. Goldenchild woke up crying a couple of times

and then I woke up at midnight thrity having contractions

of course my mind goes to worst case scenarios
of course DH is out of town and I don't know who I could call at midnight anyways
and logically I know they will go away soon but I was still scared


I decide to go downstairs and get some ice water to try to see if that will help

and lights are on that I rememeber turning off. So I have to search the house for bad guys and discover I didn't lock one door and the garage door is open but I am pretty sure that while I turned off that light some other switch must also turn it on from another room. We are still figuring out stuff about our house- lots of half hot switches.

So I had a hard time getting back to sleep. The ice water did work however.

Ok- time to start my exciting day of taking kids to sports, laundry, and ironing. Whohoo.

Yikes. That sounds like a horrible night. Hope today was better.

Not gonna lie, I was a tree one year. Totally dead serious.

Did anyone else's Monday go super fast? Mine did! Today at school I did get chocolate milk poured all over me though. And I mean all over me. It was a really good look on my nice white shirt. I also cut myself doing something with the scissors that I would kill a kid if I caught them doing. It wouldn't stop bleeding and it hurt like heck. Hmmm...maybe there's a reason we tell the kids not to do that with the scissors. What kind of an example am I?

I did the first round of cleaning of the floor, it needs another one, LOL
Hubby came in from work and said, what is that smell? I said Pinesol. Didnt hae enough Mop 'N Glow .

Just did a quick checking with work with knit freak, who is back from vacation, and dumped something I was going to do on her, HEE HEE.

I think I need nap and some food, in some order.

Twinkie: A tree? Interesting choice. She could go as a golden delicious spongecake. My dd was never really into "girly" Halloween costumes. I did manage Snow White out of her one year, and Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz", but other than that she was things like pirates, Crocodile Hunters, and football players.

Marita: My bathtub smells like Scrubbing Bubbles. I'm sure MommyP understands the whole dirty boy dilemma and bathtubs.

Hey feller moovers.
I had an off day today and have spent most of it getting caught up on trippies and playing on line. I can also now chat. It seems my computer has been lying to me and I found a way to download what I needed. It said I had what I needed and wouldn't let me have components.
Gee, I had a tough time managing four of us at WDW in two rooms. I can't imagine a group the size that's there new. Hope y'all are having as much fun. Cel, who's been more trouble, Mike or Anthony? Never mind, I'm sure I know.
This weekend, I'll be slumming at Holiday World-free tix from work. I'm getting too old for wooden roller coasters, so don't know what we might ride. Free parking and Pepsi products. Not a bad deal really. Just a long drive. for a short day. Prolly have fun anyway.

Thanks BN - We'll have medical coverage so I'm ok. I need to see if my physical therapy is going to be covered during this strike.

Twinks- one year,my youngest wanted to be a parrot. We had a parrot mask from Margaritaville. I bought her a long sleeved tee and glued hundreds of feathers on it. It was cool. For the tree- well do the same- glue some leaves to a shirt and make her arm branches with leaves.

Costumes are done! I would have taken a picture of them all in them today(they just had to leave them on and play pirates all afternoon) but I was too concerned with getting Kaleb and myself in bed. lol. I slept ALL afternoon. I almost have to each day now. But, thankfully I have been sleeping fine at night too.

I will however get pictures of them all on Friday. I promise. They came out good. Not at good as last year. The thrift store had slim pickings so 2 of the boys look like a mixture of a pirate and Larry the Cable Guy. LOL!

Twinkie - What a horrible night! Our minds always go crazy when the DH's aren't around, don't they? I hope your day was better.

BabyN - Bathtubs are nasty around here. Although, somehow, MINE gets the dirtiest. It must be from DH, even though he doesn't take baths. I have given up on stupid cleaners. Now I scrub it with baking soda. It works so much better.

No sun for me today. Again. We didn't get done with school until 11. Before I started making lunch I went outside to see the sky. It looked fine. I thought I would get some sun time in after I made the sandwiches. Five minutes later it was POURING and it stayed cloudy and rained on and off all afternoon. Tomorrow is supposed to be more rainy than today and so is Wednesday. Grr!

I did clip kids nails, wash lots of laundry, made Jeremiah fold it, and painted my nails, fingers and toes. So, I feel as if I accomplished a lot for a Monday. Considering I was asleep from 1-3 and I didn't get out of my bed until 4. lol.

Plus I cooked dinner.

Now it's almost time to start it all over again. Yeehaw.

MommyP, sounds like you had a productive day overall.

I got critized by my DD for not doing enough cleaning today. "DAD did the dishes yesterday and mowed the lawn" I mopped the floor, just sprayed all kitchen counter surfaces with cleaner and will wipe them off shortly. PLUS, I did empty and refill the dishwasher. And I the least user of dishes in the house!
But now its Danciing with the stars, going to watch the start and then I can go watch in in from the kitchen while cleaning counters.

Yup! Just for a long weekend because that's all I could swing with student teaching. My best friend is coming too. We're going to go to the Halloween Party and hopefully I can visit some of my friends I made over the summer.

You got it. I'll be at All Star Music, should you need me. I wanted to stay at Pop Century because I liked it so much but All Star Music was all that was left. I was talking to my dad today who is staying at the Wilderness Lodge Concierge at the moment and telling him I find it unfair that I have to slum it at the All Star Music while he gets to stay at WL. Apparently he doesn't think I suffer at all.
