Mine kiddos. A joke. Someone, who doesn't even frequent this thread, has started teasing me about the high number of children. She implies that Grasshopper will be #23. For the record, we are not FREAKS like the Poppins family . Our kids are spaced out. And some are girls. And I teach them NOT to walk with their hands in their pockets because I am afraid someone will trip and with your hands in your pockets you can't catch yourself and then you might bust open your face. Which I am a wee bit sensitive too being as one lil Twinkie has already had plastic surgery.


I do NOT have the batphone number. Actually I have nothing. Except Cel's address because it came on the box today..... unless it is a fake. She forgot to put her last name because obviously she is scared I will stalk her. Which is a reasonable assumption after all. I do drive through TN about every two years. It could be scary to know that a crazy lady with a minivan full of kids knows where you live. Of maybe I am just a 13 year old who might stop in (if my mama will drive me) on the way to the next minesweeper convention.

If you have given me your real name, address or phone number I lost it in the move. I know it doesn't make sense but I deleted all my PMs in a fit of cleanliness or craziness or confusion. Sorry. Please resend or understand that I can't find you.

Just got home a hour ago.

I feels like I have been away from here a long time.

Pumba-- You live in Maine right? We went though the top of Maine. We saw a Moose run along side of the highway but that was in New Brunswick. It made me think of you.

We had no more truck problems on the way home but the trailer had some weather stripping come off. Hubby duct taped it back in place... The we lost the pin to the stablizer bar for the hitch so the bar was hanging on one side just before we crossed the border.

Had a blast but I am very tired. Why do vacations make you need another holiday when you get back!!

sort of... there is some bickering as some children like to watch tv in silence and some children like to sing and dance along...

and we are going to a church picnic tomorrow- a church we have visited a bit and really like, so I am cooking brownies and pasta and hard boiling eggs even as we speak

yippee........you thought of me going thru maine......yup I live in maine ......central sort of.........I love to see moose running thru the woods but when they get on the highway......deadly to think of the results.......alot of people bite the dust when they hit one of those......glad that you are home safe and sound......best type of vacations......
my niece is on her way to Nova Scotia to go to college.....she will be 9 hours from home ......scarey for a first timer to go that far without a way to get home to visit

Yes I see Moo is missing hope everything is okay with her.

Pumba -- we went across the top except for when we went to Norway, Maine for the truck.

Twinkie -- My guess is 10 loads. I have all the bedding from the trailer plus about 5 days of regular clothes. And don't forget all the beach towels, towels and face clothes for about a week.

Did I mention I had camping.....

nab, Camping in an RV is much preferable to camping in a tent! And welcome home!

Sorry I was MIA without advance notice.

My BFF needed a ride home from work last night, so we stopped for dinner on the way home, then watched Monk and chatted til 11:30, at which time I said "YIKES! Where'd the time go? I better get home!!!"

Today I had a haircut at noon, then went shopping. I drove over to Grand Radips and they were having a car cruise up and down the main shopping drag, so I sat and watched all the classic cars go by for a while before heading home.
On my way home, I stopped and took some photos of where strong winds or a tornado tore through yesterday, just a few miles down the road from where my in-laws used to live

THEN, it took me a while to get all caught up.

I'm around if anyone wants to chat tonight.

It was really nice Marita.

The kids loved it. Nicholas favourite was going to Bubbles resturant in Halifax. He is the one from Trailer Park Boys and it is filmed in a trailer park in Halifax.

Hannah kept asking me how my holiday was and she would say that it was the best as she skipped along in the campsite.

We saw the the Blue Nose ll in Lundenburg. It is on of the tall ships that is on our dime. We went to Peggy's Cove. There is a light house there and rocks you can walk on. It is also were a big plane went down a few years ago. They have a memorial there. Took my mom to historical gardens in Digby N.S. and got the best scallops there.

Had great visits with my family that live down there. They didn't change a bit.

The weather was great all big one day it was cold and had to wear a coat.
