Twinkie - You get up at 5 to eat first breakfast and then go back to bed? Till when? Kaleb was in my bathroom at 6:30 quietly calling me to come wipe him. Nothing better than getting up and wiping a bottom first thing. I went back to bed and dozed while he ransacked the house. What time do you get up for second breakfast? ;)

Moo - Well thanks for trying. I'm guess I'm just not simsonizable.

Nab - I watched that show with Drew Cary last night. Can you believe that kid won a million? I think it's rigged. Why would that network be giving away so much money SO easily, while ABC is so cheap with their Who Wants to Be a Millionaire that is nearly impossible to win? I think most those shows now a days are rigged. But, who knows?

I could have even won that million. It was super easy. I could use a million right about now. First thing we'd do after paying off our house and buying a better truck is adopting a little girl from China. That's what we'd like most to do if we weren't so poor(ish).

Celery - Where are you? Hope everything is okay and your funk is over.

I still haven't eaten breakfast because as I was cleaning up, Kaleb took it upon himself to get into the fridge and pull off one of the door shelves that was containing glass. So I spent the last 45 minutes cleaning that up. Not a great way to start the day.

My day holds school, laundry and discipline. As always. Then tonight as long as I don't have a headache(which will be a miracle) we're going to church. The teenagers have put together(even written themselves) a play that goes along with the book, The Pilgrims Progress. They did a little teaser of it at the VBS parents night and it was REALLY good. Tonight it's 2 hours long. Ending at 9, which stinks because then it's a 45 minute drive home.

I'm here mommyp!
Tuesdays and thursdays are our foster parenting class.
I'm really excited about it.
And thanks for the advice about reading my bible. i try to do that every night.
I'm not depressed outside of work - just at work. I'm having fun with my sewing and with my foster parenting class and with the prospect of meeting my meeps!
and I start school at the end of this month.
It's just hard cuz I feel really isolated at work.

I haven't spoken to my boss in over 3 weeks. He doesn't care. :confused3 oh well.
Now it's back to work!

Morning All,

I slept in this morning because I thought I had no where to go. I was going to pick up around the house and make my food list and clothes list for our up coming holiday.

Well just get a email from hubby saying they moved his Friday class to Thursday so we can leave first thing Friday morning.... Now I must scramble because I don't have that extra day.

Twinkie-- If I got up and ate breakfast I don't think I could go back to bed. I will have to try a Kit Kat then when we cross the border.

Mommy P -- I would have been a chicken and stopped at $100,000. I couldn't believe he said his parents were divorced when one was saying go for it and one was saying stop. How much taxes will he have to pay on a million?

Celery -- you are one busy girl. How many Foster Parent Classes do you have to do?

Goog Morning Gang!

I finally started the TR. This is alot more work than it first appears. Motivate me people. I know poly already has. Thanks sistah!

My kids start school tomorrow!!!!! I can't believe it's that time already. Where did the summer go? I've been doing last minute hanging out with the kids stuff. Plus, I may or may not have a twinge of guilt about going to WDW without them.:rolleyes1

Maybe after school starts, I can keep up with y'all a little more consistently.

Have a great day.

It was 4 am here MP. About 75% of the time I wake up at 4 am, usually because some child has fallen out of bed, needs a glass of milk, had a bad dream. This morning it was the 13 yo who was complaining of muscle pain because he decided yesterday he should start working out before football practice starts next monday. Being a typical boy he didn't stretch or ease into a workout routine. Oh no. Of course his muscles hurt!

Anyway, if I am not pregnant, I deal with whatever issue is at hand and go back to sleep till 7ish.

When I am pregnant I have to eat at 4 am and will wake up even if all 4 children have miraculously not fallen out of bed etc etc. So I get up and eat first breakfast and then go back asleep untill said children wake me up. Usually around 8. Today was 8:33.

Then I get up and fix breakfast for all of them AND then I eat again.

Of course this idyllic existance will come to an end next week when school starts. However once I am sure DS13 is setting his alarm and making the bus each day I can go back to my life of sleeping in as the girls have afternoon kindergarten. :cheer2:

I was a morning person before I had got pregnant the first time. Honest. I went into work at 5 am by my own choice! Oh well. Someday I will be well rested again. I think that will be 2017ish.

Sorry about the refrigerater mess. It is a lousy way to start the day. But I don't mind wiping a small person- the alternative requires far more cleaning:eek:

Ok I'm all caught tup!

I've been on a sewing kick. SO?
It takes up my time more than anything.
I only get little incriments of time to sew being I'm the mom and all. My kids always (usually/sometimes) come first. I'm guilty of plopping them in front of The Little Mermaid to gain some time...:rolleyes1 But not too often.

Twinkie, you should see all the First Day of School outfits being made on the sewing thread that sucks up my time! It never occurred to me to have a apple, crayon, ruler, etc. outfit made for the first day of school! :headache:

Oh look who graced us with her presence! Just kidding Utah dear.
I'm addicted too.

Nab - we have 14 more classes, two of which are 6 hours long!
plus 3 home visits.
4 for us because we'll be moving right after we're certified.
and we're missing the last three classes, but they're going to work with us on it.

Nab - I think you would come away with somewhere around 600,000 if you won 1,000,000. I think I remember seeing that on TV one time about all these shows giving away a million.

Twinkie - My kids are up so early. Always have been. I guess I was just cursed that way. The little ones also poop 3-4 times a day each, so I have to wipe a lot of bottoms. lol

Hi Wendy. Long time no see. You are becoming a lost person. Not quite an other, but a stranger none the less. ;)

Never fear!

I have TWO different apple jumpers (one also has a ruler etc) that are hand me downs from my mom's Richie Rich but super nice neighbors.

You will have them in time for kindergarten.

For preschool I would just do a special outfit- the apple, ruler stuff doesn't makes sense

but crayons or ABCs would

heh heh

Hi Wendy. Long time no see. You are becoming a lost person. Not quite an other, but a stranger none the less. ;)

OH NO! I'm so sorry! I think I'm just preoccupied with sewing. Even the WISH thread is abandoned. Yet I'm losing weight just from being distracted. I'm back for real!

Ohhhhh, I'm thinking I'll never be an OTHER. I wrote a application letter and nailed my coffin shut. I can write the simplest and plainest sentence and SO much is read into it :sad2: Evidently, I'm mental and not cool enough??? I'll never know. :snooty:

Did you guys SEE the latest Nebo picture? OH MY! Don't ask what it's of....you'll just know what I'm talking about. Shelter your children's eyes!!!
That's the last vision you'll see tonight when you can't sleep...

Do we know the gender of any babies yet???

I need time to SEW! If not, yer gittin' yellow!

Hi Lil G!!!! I wasn't abducted! I'm sewing like a crazed weasel. I have an Alice and Ariel costume waiting next!!!!

 Are you serious? I know you talked about writing a letter as a joke. Did you do it? :rotfl: I'd love to see it. I might agree with the whole mental thing, but not cool enough? Puh-leeze. You hang out with me. ;)

I am on my second call in sick day. I need some serious attitude adjustment. Today was remote parking day, which involves walking 1/2 mile in 1oo degrees.

The downside to this is, when I call in sick, I feel guilty, so I actually do start not feeling well. Go figure!!!!!!!!! It's not fair!

That Walmart greeter job is looking better and better........

Who ever decided 55 is too young to retire?? with measely benefits??? GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

I was logged into to work email all day, in case of financial emergency ( ) but sucessfully resisted answering any and all emails. Noting of great consequence anyway, so that was goog.

and PUMBA, where are you???????? we miss you!!

Is it actually called, "remote parking day"? What does that mean? Other than walking 1/2 mile in 100 degree heat? And WHY do you have to do it????

MommyP, it means we have a local meeting at the convention center, which means we have to vacate the usual parking spots in the convention center lot. And park far away........... No, it's no actually called that, it's called "alternate parking", nothing regular, just whenever there is big drive in traffic for a meeting. The poor hourly workers have to regularly slepp it from across the street, so I shouldn't complain.

As I said, I need an attitude adjustment. And I better show up for work tomorrow, or the boss will give me one, LOL!

OH I KNOW I'm the COOLEST...I did indeed write it and it WAS a joke. Sort of. See, those in charge of the Others told me they were "considering letting more people in in June" Well, it was JUNE so I asked. I never got a rejection letter, or an explanation...they just abruptly stopped posting here. I'm sort of entertained by it. I reeeeeally miss most of them though!

Like Joe:wizard: and Grammy:angel: and Ash:goodvibes and Kimmie :flower3: , GA Kitty:cat: , Tink :tinker: , Brandt :earsgirl: . I want them to come back and play but I'm afraid I burned that bridge.

POOH!

UMA, you are plenty cool!!!!!!!! One of the coolest people I know! Don't let the OTHERS make you feel bad.

Do you know how many friends you have? Count them, it will take you days..........

Hee hee- Thank you Marita! I'm not sad about it at all. I just wonder if there's any "inaccuracies" going around. That's all. But they're all goog peeps.

OH NOOOO!

The last payment of our trip was due today and we can't do it! We have NO more money left!

SO, I don't think we'll be going in September!
I'm trying not to panic, but ALL our $$$ options are at a dead end.

I think we're going to DL again instead...I'm trying not to be a brat about it but still!

My stomach hurts over the whole thing!
