Hi everyone else

Today was another fairly stressful day, but now for the really good stuff:
I AM OFF FOR THE NEXT 4 DAYS!!

Back to forecast next week, but I soooooo badly need these few days, batteries are on empty.

Got a call from the diabetes clinic that I have an appointment with next week and she wanted to make sure that I knew if my insurance would pay for more visits.....they are finding alot of insurances arent covering diabetic instructions and food .....so I called and yup I am covered....the first 9 programs that I went to were with others and some by myself.....but they were good .....I am glad that I went to them.......I am off my feed lately so this will be a good shot in the arm...so to speak......I do not do insulin or meds......I am trying hard (sometimes) to do this with diet and exercise......Like I know that Pasta does me NO GOOD.....but i have to have it once in a while........
we are fortunate that we do have good insurance coverage.....alot of people dont have it .....this is one reason that hubby will stay with the company until I am ready to go on medicare too.....so that is a long long long time........cause I am a young chick......no a young wart hog

almost forgot......anyone coming out of boston area.......jetblue has a good price but has to be booked by august 8th......didnt look to see when they had to be used though......so just a friendly informational thing from MOI

Pumba, glad you have the insurance.
I am lucky, I am covered by DIsney for the rest of my life. They cancelled it many years ago, but then there was a class action suit, cause they had promised it. So as of some cutoff, I am covered. DH, who started 5 years after me is not. I will have to check to see if he will be covered under my policy or not.

Hi, Java Steph! Nice to see you again.

I forecast Operating Income for a hotel. We are given many assumptions, so it's not as intimidating as it sounds, just very time consuming, stressful, and trying to figuring out how to cover overages in labor and expenses (which we had TON's of this year). If everyone just stayed within budget, it would be a piece of cake........ but that is a whole other story.

Glad you have good insurance coverage. I should have pretty decent health coverage when I retire, thank googness. I expect to be working at the same place for 30+ years, like Marita. It's too bad that so many jobs are no longer geared toward valuing longevity.

Will the meet peeps be around this weekend to chat about our plans? As of now, I think I'll be around all weekend. I think everyone should be welcome to jjoin in so we can also talk about how/when to link in our friends who can't be there with us.

Had the weekend from you know where thanks to the hospital. They cut shifts and hours because of low census, then added 12 patients, a couple with high needs. So I'm just getting caught back up.
The birthday isn't over atill the last happy birthday. Happy belated Birthday, Moo. Now it's over.
All you going at the end of Sept., I'm there first, but wish I could be there with y'all. But somehow me and my buds will muddle through.

My remote connection crapped out for the 3rd time tonight, so I am on dial up. I hate paying MSN and an extra phone line every month, but I am too paranoid to give it up. Just checking in while eating breakfast.(which was 30 grams of protein, BTW)

Now I'm downing my big glass of milk while getting phonics started with Jeremiah. I HATE phonics. It takes FOREVER.

Being pregnant is finally getting better! I'm feeling better and I feel the baby everyday now.

I have 2 very cranky little boys today though. Kaleb and Ethan...I can tell I am going to be pushed to my limits by them today.

Pumba- I really admire you for trying to control the diabetes via diet and exercise. The longer you can do that the better for your whole health.

I feel somewhat better today. I tried to catch myself and in the process pulled all the muscles in my arms so they are sore. As well as my legs and back... it hurts to bend but at least I can be comfy sitting, standing or laying down.
