Thanks MommyP.
I knew I'd read it somewhere, but I read so much that I'm getting confused.

I guess I'll go ahead and order them now.

Chad heard from the new builder. He came in at a price of 159,000. which is only $13,000 more than the last builder for 400 more total sq. ft.(this one has a 2 car garage instead of a 1 and it has about 200 more inside sq. ft.) Plus it is a better floor plan with a large kitchen just like the one I have now plus a big master bathroom with seperate shower and garden tub. I have a HUGE bathroom now. My bathroom and closet together are the size of the boys bedrooms. lol. But it only has a regular tub/shower unit, which is fine by me. I've just gotten spoiled by having such a large amount of space and a big counter top. So he is figuring a new price with us doing lots of work, like hauling trash, putting on shingles, painting and such. Things we've done before and can easily do again. Well, it won't be so easily for me since I'll be huge pregnant. ;) Should help me keep in shape. lol. Minus the roofing. I'll keep my front heavy self on the ground.

Chad told him we want to come in under/at $150,000 so with the $40,000 we will be where we wanted to be in the first place. He seemed pretty confident that we could make it work.

It helps that our land only has 2 pepper trees that need to be cleared. The rest is just grass and then all the oaks are in the back where we want them to be left alone. So he is just going to push the pepper trees to the back and we can break them down and haul them off ourselves. Saves money on having to get a dumpster for it.

Plus this guy has worked with the SHIP program and USDA before so he is familar with the ins and outs.

The only thing is making sure we can sign a contract SOON(before USDA runs out of money for the year) and make sure that even though we sign we are not moving on with things UNTIL the SHIP money comes in. I hate having to wait on all these programs. But it's a necessary evil for us.

MommyP it sounds like it is coming together for you, how exciting.

Celery I doubt the party on the 20th will sell out, or if it does it will be in September. Are you going twice??

Poly I hope the dentist appointment goes well. What is a stress related bite adjustment????

I have been shopping all day!!!

Dropped Nicholas off at the bus and headed to the malls. We went to one further away today that we don't go to often because it is know for gangs and shootings. But it is the closed Disney Store we have.

Hannah got a Princess backpack and lunch box to match. She also talked me into some new clothes as well. She says for school. That is what we will tell her father.:lmao: We got Nicholas a POTC wallet that has a chain attached. He out grow his Yugi Oh one. He won't carry that one anymore.

I got nothing. Lunch from Taco Bell. That is it. I tried some t-shirts but they were to small. There sizing there is way off.

Haley -- good to see you back, not good that you have been sick.

Poly-- I don't like the dentist either. But I go. Hope he/she can fix you right up. How is your Mom doing? Still haven't talked he into going to your place.

Hi everyone. Love the new title! And this is my big 2500 MOO HOOTY. I would like to thank all the little people etc etc etc

Glad to see that Haley is back even if she has to play trivia to get here. :lmao:

Good news about the house MP!

How exciting that the big meet is almost here. Cel's trip report is a riot. Even if she is playing fast and loose with my reputation (don't worry, like Rhett Butler, I have decided I don't really need a reputation ;) )

Well in minor Twinkie news I found a pair of socks pushed in the toes of Goldenchild's shoes.... who knows how many days he has been walking around like that. I just thought he didn't like shoes because really who wants to wear shoes????

Also Princess Twink had her big pre K doctor apt. Twinkerbell's is next week and while we are there the dr mentions that there is a nationwide shortage of one of the vaccines (I think the mmr-chickenpox combo but I am not sure) and she has the last 3 doses. So I ask what will happen to Twinkerbell... will she not be allowed to go to school?

So the dr says I won't have any next week lets vax her today. So we did. Poor kid thought she was just watching her sister and got 4 shots. Of course the princess was the bigger drama queen.

However my frugalness of never buying happy meals means that 5$ and two hello kitty toys later we were all happy. Truth in advertising. It was a happy meal.

The big news is that you can quit calling me Grace Kelly. I know you never did. But last night I fell down the stairs.

It hurts like the dickens but I am ok. The baby is ok. I already had an OB apt with sonogram scheduled for today so it was nice to see the beating heart and wiggling Grasshopper.

I am was very anxious about a variety of things but everything looks good. I am in a lot of pain but I am able to moove about albeit very slowly.

The best shot was of Grasshopper grabbing his toes. (The his was randomly selected- so far all we know is that we are having a baby.)

Wow Twinkie glad you and grasshopper are ok.

Glad you got to see the baby today too. Did you say grabbing his toes are sucking his toes...:lmao: This one will be in gymnastics too , boy or girl....

The poor princesses. I got my tetnus shot when Hannah got her needles for school so she could see someone get a needle too.

Which Hello Kitty toy did they get. They don't really have much in those containers. We have a few.... And now they know to look on the bottom of the bag to see what is coming next. Which is Build a bear....can't remember the boy toy.

Poly I hope the dentist appointment goes well. What is a stress related bite adjustment????

Haley, when I'm under pressure or stress,I grind my teeth- big time. Knock them out of alignment and my teeth shift.

Twinkie- PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!

 ..that's a good description of how iam feeling..today.

[headache+ backache= nauseA all over....:crazy2: ]

thanks, c~ girl, boy, iam sure off the tracks, :headache: ..missing
that..and i wasn't even thinking about your guys up coming trip..
probable cos 'we" won't be there this year....still, i can't wait
to hear yor news ...and hope everyone gets dump with extra pixiedust: !

ok, throwing my kids off the computer.....:upsidedow , did you forget?
my boys are 6'6"..& about 100 pounds more. iam only 5'7', & 160...

:rolleyes1 ..i 've a hard tyme..just bossing my lil'cutie flame ..even jordan
gives me the :tink: 's attitudes...[ i think i take can "them"..if i cheat
...:rolleyes1 ].

linsday...:sad2: ...where the heck are her parents....* only cos she been
in a few movies...(bad or good-dosen't matter)..is she getting all this
attention.
however, we are "seeing" many who are following the same lifestyles....
...* as always,i feel there is a connexction tooo, when our schools
deleted the dick/jane readers...& family values. :sad2: , ok, "jump"
on me...for being so boring..but children needs education...of the family
type. gosh, if you only could "see" how mix up these youngsters are...
not a clue..about the things we are doing every day. ...noticed?
she..is repeating the same type of behaviors...and expecting different
results? :rolleyes1 ....where do these youngsters get the

that "adulthood" dosen't have rules? these kids are our future....:scared:
her paresnts denial are not effective as corrective measures..someone
needs to start a "redirecting program". you know what i am seeing ? iam
having to resort to a "parent to child" model...& iam :confused3 how
little this age group are not ...possessing adult insights. then some
even have kids....:scared1:

...:squirrel: & nutty.

* on a personal note..my older bro, threw away a professional baseball
career...for drugs & etoh...and motorcycle racing. :guilty: . he suffered
a major wreck where the other rider was killed. his wife, was a very nice
person...& they had a beautiful daughter. [my middle son's age]...she
moved to paris to raised her...and get away from him. alot of my insights
came from family experiences-good& bad. patterns are the most self
evident,...it seem a person must take corrective measures and
chose wisely...positive over negative...if one to discover happiness.
being rich or famous may increase options but in themselves are no
guarantees for finding/being fullfilled.

[ he broke my parents' hearts. but i guess the reason these kids'
troubles are so bothesome...are having my boys their ages. i think some
one needs to redirect them....the best things aren't the illegal or
stupid stuff...but the day to day living...and finding someone special
who  you for being "you", sharing lil'adventures and making you
feel respected. as for excitment....there's disney 's pixiedust: ! ]

what these kiddies need..is a good talking to...from c~girl, nabby,
pumba, utahm, bakie, babyn, twinkle, jr's mom, ...even underdog...

heck, maybe all together....:grouphug:

p.s..hope things are getting & feeling better, dear poly.

twinks - Oh no! I'm glad you had an appt today so you could check on our wee grasshopper. But you know it's another ninja - so even if YOU'RE clumsy he/she was able to gracefully brace himself!

and what am I doing to your rep? :rotfl2:

And that's scary about the MMR! I have to have one! Like today! GRRR. State laws suck.

nab - tammy found disney stuff at a family dollar today. we'll have to wait and see how much she bought when she gets home.
And you have gangs and shootings? I always picture Canada as this nice place where everyone gets along. :confused3

lil g - I blame Lindsay's parents for her issues. It sucks. And she's going to keep going til she crashes and burns.

Twinkie - Yikes. Be carefu on those stairs! Glad the u/s went well. Did you really not see what the baby was? ;)

Two weeks until ours. I can't wait! Although since I am excited to find out what the baby is we won't be able to. :confused3

The final price on the house is $153,000. Chad is meeting with another builder at 4 but we don't expect him to come in any better. We will proceed on with the best deal to the next step, whatever that is.

Good point about the ninja child. I feel better.

Don't worry about the MMR- I think it was the MMR-chickenpox combo which you wouldn't need. The adult MMR booster shouldn't be out of stock. But then again I know nothing

Except this- usually the county has a health clinic for the poor to get vaccinations. In NC the just charge you 11 dollars to inject you plus the price of the vaccine... it is the cheapest way to get shots and those nurses are very good since that is all they do. That is how I got my rabies shots. The vaccine was pricey:eek: though

as for my reputation- I'll just post on your trip report. Ha!

Twinks -

we got those poor clinics here. 13 for the administration 45 for the vaccine. times 2.
equals missed out Disney money. :(

and EWWWWW! on the "money shot!"
Grasshopper is precious and should not be equated with debauchery!
even if that's how he/she was created. ;)

mommyp - so can you all swing the extra 3 grand or is that a deal breaker?
fingers crossed!

Celery - I don't think it will make that much of a difference in our payment. When we figured at 110,000 it was 926 a month(including taxes and insurance) when we figured at 115000 it was 927 a month because our subsidy went up. So hopefully that will happen again. We just have to wait and see.

Celery this mall is an almost an hour away. I live in a small rural town. Pretty safe here so far.

I'm glad we just go to the doctor's office and don't have to pay. Well really we do because we are taxed to death but at the time in and out is nice. Plus what isn't covered is covered by hubby's insurance.

Twinkie be careful!!!

Glad to hear grasshopper is well, sorry you are sore. No more falling down. Hmm. You are past half way now, how exciting!
