Poly - The Grand Floridian Cafe was nice. We had dinner there on a rainy night last Sept. We were sitting right by a window looking out over the grounds. I can't remember what we ate, but it was good and the servers were really nice.

She thinks people are rude that ask her if she want a boy since she has two girls. Mind you she lost a boy. I think that is why she feels that way. But everyone else is calling people rude for saying that to a pregnant women.

Hey everyone!

My day was a little better, I still felt like I was ready to quit, but I talked to my boss this afternoon and felt a bit better, I think he is finally getting around to doing his job and getting people accountable. Took him 9 frigging months!

One more day of work tomorrow, then I am shucking it all till next Monday, for another fun-filled forecast week!

Nab - I didn't see that thread. I usually don't go to the CB the only CB threads that I visit are this one, the mom's to be thread and the As the world turns thread. There never seems to be anything worth spending my time with on the CB anymore.

However it does drive me crazy when people say that to us. We've been hearing it for the last 2 kids and now this time it's worse. But I know people just don't know what to say so they say whatever pops into their heads. OF COURSE we're hoping for a girl, but a boy is most likely in our future. lol.

Anyway Golden child woke me up about a half hour ago. In the new (much older) house he can reach all the light switches so at 4:30 am when he wants some milk he can walk into my room and turn on the lights.

Twink, they do have gadgets to child-proof light switches. The link didn't work, but it is Googleable!

We had sunshine today! It was kinda carpy this morning, but turned out nice.

Some of my work friends were a bad influence . . . they said lets go have ice cream for dinner.

So I went with them

Things are so very hectic around here. My mom told me a few minutes ago that "taking care of her is just too hard on me". Think I'd get arrested for thumping her? Like who else is going to do it? The brother in Hawaii? no. The brother in NJ who is in India for a combo business-yoga jaunt? no. or #3 who is all wrapped up in himself and his family? NO. So, I basically told her to knock it off and deal with me!
Yesterday I had to see my spine doctor- been needing to for 5 months and finally went. She said I need another MRI and an EMG ! Then I took my mom for more CT scans. She still is having trouble walking and is in a lot of pain.
Today, I get the %^&* EMG ( the doctor sticks these needles in and tests the nerve roots) and I'd rather be getting a bunch of root canals than do this. This afternoon,I take my mom to a specialist and
I hope he has a solution for her problems.
Then tomorow I go to the dentist for a bite adjustment. Can't imagine why I'm grinding my teeth !
Our trip is all set . I booked a tour,cancelled the luau and added the GF Cafe to our list. I still have our ADRS that were made when it was just the four of us going and I'm keeping them in case I stay home ( I'll cancel either set when things are clearer on the mom front).

But we're glad you checked in!

I'm sure your mom really appreciates having your help. A good friend of mine from work has been dealing with her mom's medical issues for the last couple weeks too. Like you, I'm sure she really wouldn't want to be anywhere else while her mom needs her.

I just got back from the vet. Nothings wrong with Riley. It's just behavior issues.
So we're having him neutered on Friday to see if it helps.

Lucky you having only one more work day this week! I am traveling tomorrow for a work meeting and site visit, so the day should go by quickly.

I called Disney tonight to have my balance put on my credit card so I can try to get it paid off before our trip. They transferred me to a different person to add the Peeps grand gathering number to my ressie, then I forgot to order MNSSHP tickets. I'm debating about whether to call and order those separately or just wait until we get there

They asked if I needed any ADRs and I said nope, a friend

made them already!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would pop in and see what is going on.
I have been really sick and I killed my lap top, so I have not been around anywhere online much for a few weeks.
I miss this thread. Nothing else really fits the bill, KWIM?

MommyP when I was preggers with Sophia I used to just tell everyone we wanted a girl AND that we planned to keep going until we got one. Mostly people just gave me a blank look or acted like I was kidding. I was not. However now that I have a girl, 9 going on 26, I tell people 'be careful what you wish for' Our alternate response to that question was "the boys are really hoping for a puppy"

I read back 2 pages. So I am all caught up, right????

Who here has finished Harry Potter 7???? Loved it. Am going to reread it as soon as everyone else in my house gets a chance at it.

I'll try to stop in tomorrow. The deal is, I can use the kids computer as long as I play trivia on Webkinz for them and earn them enough money for a room first.

I will be the proud owner of a new laptop right after I win lotto, or get a job, or at the very least finish paying off the next WDW trip. So sometime in the fall.

Haley - Besides the "Are you hoping for a girl?" question we also always get(at the same time) "Are you done yet?". Like it's anyone's business. We we plan on at least 1 more after Manna. When I tell people that it's like we're nuts. Little do they know if this and next are boys there will be a number 7 Poppins child.

We watched Zodiac last night. It was pretty good. SO long! Then I couldn't get to sleep for 30 minutes after going to bed. (at 11:30) But I feel okay this morning, so far. I don't know how I'll be once we start school.

I ordered my math for the boys on Monday. It came yesterday! What the heck? Did they hop right in the car and deliver it personally? I got them Math-u-see both in the 1st grade level. I don't want to move Jeremiah on until he REALLY understands what he's doing and not just going through the motions. This program even made sense to me(not a math person) so I am hoping it is goog.

I also ordered my sister a Bradely method book for her upcoming birthday. Gotta love amazon and a $7 book!

We went and looked at another house last night with a different builder. The house was beautiful, but 200sq ft more than the other one we looked at. So I doubt he'll come in with a price for us.

The other people did finally call. He came in at $146000 because impact fees went up last year(to $15,000) and he forgot about that. Right....

Chad also talked to the woman down at the closing cost help place. We qualify for $40,000 which makes a $150,000 house in our price range. Because the $40,000 comes off the top and only the rest is financed. But we're back to waiting for that money to come in. She said it's never been later than Oct. and should be Sept. Also there is only going to be enough for 6 people to get it so we have to hurry up and get on the top of the list. So we'll see. So we for SURE won't be in a house before the baby comes since we have to wait around until that money comes in.

I'm off to start school.
