Well sugar boy snuck a piece of banana bread when he got home. Then my company brought a Turtle Brownie mountain cake. Guess who got a piece of that... I didn't want to argue in front of them so I let him have a piece.

He did not get anything for dessert either. Plus I sent him to the store for milk , guess what he asked for a slurpee... He had more in one day then he usually has in a week.

Is he bouncing off the walls yet, Nab?

I have him running outside. Hopefully some of it will wear off.

Was going to make them go to bed early tonight since they have had late nights all weekend. Maybe they can stay up until Dad gets home at 9:00, he can put them to bed.

What are they really going to do at school with 4 days left. Report cards come home on Tuesday.

howdy again everyone.....we went to our cemetery....where we have our monument already in place with our names on it......it was weird at first to see it but it is a beautiful piece...it also has a ribbon and two wedding bands and our anniversary in it.....hmmmmmm did I tell you this before.....maybe I did...but when you get old you kinda forget...

I didnt have any new books to read so I read Thunderhead by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston and then I am rereading Angels and Demons......then I will read Davincis code again.....I missed some of the stuff cause i get so excited I read to fast and then jump paragraphs sometimes.
My new book wont come out until August so I have to make sure I order it via Barnes and Noble and get in ahead of the game...Love these two authors .....
Hubby has booked us a trip......sort of one to relax and not have to worry about his mama being sick.......but now I will worry about my mama.....my brother and sister will be with her though.....and we will be a planeride away....he wont tell me anything about it just that we are going.....YIPPEE....can hardly wait for September sometime......

You know what I did today? Absolutely nothing, but reading trip reports and here and there. NO WORK! No peeling or hair coloring either. Just vegging.

There is absotively NOTHING on TV.

I looked at the Baggallini site, I thought I might get one for September. But, HOLY COW (NOM), there are a lot of models. What is the preferred one of the Dis'ers? UMA, you just bought one, which one did you get?

DD made dinner tonight, turkey frikadellen, cauliflower and green beans. It was good. Now I have a bunch of dirty dishes.
Guess what, I am NOT doing them. Hubby is the designated dishwasher packer now, since he has been home for weeks with his foot. He has trouble putting the clean ones away, so I will do that, but he can load the dishwasher

He is putting Hannah down first. Nicholas will be going up at 9:00. He is now in watching cartoons. He can read a little then hopefully he will go to sleep.

It's called the Messenger Bag in lime. It has a cell phone pocket in the front strap and mesh side pockets. It is the perfect size! You may not need a wallet with it because of all the compartments. I think I'll get a small wallet to go inside. I forgot the coupon code for bagsbuy.com (it's near the very end of the bagallini section on that site.

I was using it and decided to save it for September so it'll still be fresh. It matches my CROCS fabulously.

The last of the kids left about 12:30 and the mess ( what little there was) had been cleared before . you'd never had known there had been a get together.
I should hire my husband out- he CAN clean windows!
I love Murphy's too,though not the "orange". That left a residue on the floors and it was hard to get off.
Good going at Cel's today. I had to guess on the rock question and of course, picked the wrong band! Geesh! why couldn't it have been a Beatles question!

Thanks for the Info on The Murphy kids. No cleaning for me till Wednesday, so I'll have to start over...

4 kiddos (ages 14, 12, 8, & 6)

all the kids rodeo, dh does some. I don't officially enter rodeos, but I ride and rope at home. And some of our friends will throw together impromptu "jackpot" rodeos and I will play along. But I'm not an official member of a rodeo organization like the rest of the family. I'm just mom!

You know, between the saddle, blankets, breast collar, bell boots, head stall, tie down, feed, brushes, combs, hoof picks, fly spray, fly mask, vet papers, etc., it's almost as bad to pack for a horse as it is the kids!!!

LUCKILY, our buddy is taking our horse with him and his sons horses. He said "there's no sense in us taking our horse trailer too, when we are all going to the same place" So, we're paying part of his gas money, and it is worth every penny to not haul that trailer on a 20 hour trip!

It is going to be hot today. It will be a killer to play ball tonight. We will be taken lots of water. Not shade to sit under either.

Babynurse-- How fun that it is a family thing. But more worry for you. More people to get hurt. That horse comes with a lot of accessories. I'm guessing that is a lot of suitcases. Older kids bigger clothes. I'm lucky I can still pack Nicholas and Hannah's clothes together when we go away.

Pumba -- I hope it is Disney but Vegas is fun too.

Hey all! Right after I posted last night, we lost our internet connection. I called comcast and they're coming tuesday? Anyway, I woke up this morning and it's working.
So I guess I'll cancel the appointment.

Anyway, yesterday was pretty crappy. Tammy and I kept sniping at each other (over stupid things, like the internet being down) and since my great aunt passed away last night (we've been expecting it for 2 weeks), I'm just going to take a few days off and spend time with my grandmother.

nab - no. it was 75 or so, so it was a little chilly so we didn't swim.
I hate when someone contradicts your discipline!

moo -sorry I missed you guys. If the internet stays up for me, maybe we can do it tonight.
