Celery EW EW EW :scared1::scared1::scared1: We had a mouse once... the thing somehow got INSIDE a BOTTLE of vegatable oil - he died of course. CAN you imagine the horror, of reaching down under the cabinet, grabbing the oil to see a DEAD MOUSE swimming in the oil! :scared1::scared1:

we went out to eat of course!

Lexi I LOVE LOVED Wicked! :wizard: I even cried at the one song, because its so true - "For Good" my life is better for knowing you! All of y'all! :lovestruc

and here's my hint. when wicked starts to pack up and leave - search the Goodwill stores - that's how dd got her long sleeved wicked shirt!! $2 :woohoo:

Marita aha! I thought it must be 200 due to the lack of postings!!

How's your today? Is everyone treating you right? Are you eating? How's the egg salad??

Nab what?!! Does he think its going to be a "man Cave" no women storage allowed??? :rotfl:

I worked at 1st grade today! Those teachers have patience. They are amazing!!

Off to check rumors!! and post about my health - today is a "rest" day, but I have to do weights... Is Biggest Loser on tonight? I like to do my exercise to Jillian yelling at me to move my FAT A@@!! :rotfl2:

Monica...I enjoyed your post about your first classroom observation. I'm glad you got that "feeling" that this is the right job for you. :goodvibes I can't think of a more rewarding job.

Celery
...I'm not sure what my comment is on the mouse story. I believe I'll just leave it at that. And yes, that is Hollywood's room mate. Funny to see those pictures on here. I'll have to email that link to her.

Marita
...sorry about the frustration with trying to call your mom. I can only imagine how stressful that must be to have her overseas.

Lexi...sounds like a nice weekend. Glad you got to enjoy "Wicked."

I worked at 1st grade today! Those teachers have patience. They are amazing!!
Yeah, we kind of are, aren't we? KIDDING, PEOPLE!

I am tired! I had a kid come up to me this morning and tell me "Did you know God is alive? Yeah, they pulled him off that cross and as it turns out he never really died so I think he's even older than a hundred by now." Love it!

Nab - Just how many fridges does your DH need? :)

Celery - So horribly gross, yet HILL AIR EE US! Get a cat and don't feed it for a day, mouse problem solved. :o)

Sandy - How the heck does a mouse get into a closed bottle? Gross.

We don't have mice. Just roaches. Ick. Right now it's big ones and small ones. The HORRIBLE thing is that, well that I have them. Period. You guys know how much of a clean freak I am. What the H E double hockey sticks are they EATING? I refuse to bomb though, I can't stand the thought of that poison being on every surface of my house. Where my little ones are walking, crawling laying. Yuck. I can't do it. When we first moved in we had them bad(like I saw one a day) and they went away. I think they come and go according to the time of year and rain. I haven't seen any in several days, so hopefully they're on the outs. Course there is the fire ants...

Marita - You are so dedicated to your job. They obviously don't know what a good employee they have in you. I can't believe the hours you put in.

Luther - Hi!

Sorry I've been MIA. So busy. Mostly feeding Ellie. She is finally up to 9lbs. Last Wednesday she was 8lbs 8oz, and tonight 9lbs. So hopefully she'll keep gaining at that rate now. Probably will since I just went out and bought her 12 new little outfits(I LOVE Once Upon A Child, most amazing consignment shop ever. All those clothes were only $49.) in size 0-3 months.

Mercedes is already around 10lbs. She's HUGE. Funny how Ellie started out 2lbs bigger and is now smaller(although still longer).

Ellie's hair is growing too. Thank goodness! I think she's going to be dark with blue eyes. What a knock out!

Here she is at 4 weeks old.

Here she is last week with her Popeye smile.

Here she is in her blue sling that I made just KNOWING she was going to be a he. lol And my new hairdo. My hair had gotten so long and blah I had my sis give me a perm so I could wear it down. It was too healthy(from lack of using products or heat or coloring it and it's always been very thick, but fine) it would slip out of a pony tail even. Now all I have to do is wet it and forget it. ;o)

okay, well I have more but theya re uploading and it's starting to storm and I havent showered. HOUSE IS ON TONIGHT! YIPEE!

Hi to everyone else!

More pictures of Ellie from the last week.

Here she is in her ADORABLE jammies with hot dog dogs on them.

This is her Minnie Mouse romper. Her straps cover Minnie though. Another great consignment find, I got it for her to wear at F&W in Oct. but I don't think it'll fit her anymore by then. thankfully I found a little Minnie Mouse dress on our Saturday shopping trip. lol She's all ready for said shopping trip in this picture. You can really see how tiny she still is.

Okay the next pictures are featuring my new sling, with Ellie. :o) I've been coveting a P-sling for a couple years now, never getting one because they are freaking EXPENSIVE and Chad thinks buying something is stupid when I can make it(stupid self for teaching myself to sew). Anyhoo, last week after my FB status about the psling Chad came home and said I could have $100 to get one. So I started checking out the for sale or trade forum on a babywearing website I go to. I found a Cotton Candy Sijira(sells new for $198) she was asking 130, but sold it to me for $100. Yay! It is gorgeous! And soooo amazingly comfy. Better than anything I've ever made. Of course now I want more. ;o)

watching house.
ees good! (said like pip in enchanted)

mommyp - Ellie's dress is soooo cute!!!!!!
and the sling is pertty.
I also like your hair.

peej - what? you didn't automatically picture the little mouse darting and weaving around cookie and cookie taking him out with one monstrous blow?
was that just me? :confused3

sandy - good idea about good will for wicked shirts.
too bad the stench of those stores makes me hurl!!

gorgeous pictures - You look fabulous!! How you do that!! I like your hair!

AlDisneygrl ie Allie is in ATLANTA GA! :scared1: Now if any of y'all are watching the news - they are having some serious rain/flooding in Atlanta!! Her mom is having surgery at 7am tomorrow - I told her I'd post, and we'd be sending prayers - they are having "computer" virus issues, so she hopes to find a wireless connection with her itouch at the hospital - and she'll be on Facebook! :sad2: :rotfl2:

DH has to go to work - and take the computer  He is doing "contractor" work (computer stuff) and we're hoping it will lead to a long term job!

Cel, yikes on that mouse, creepy!

Sandy, YAY for hubby having some work prospect, but boo to the PC loss!

Hope Allie and her mom stay dry!

Lexi, yikes on Emily getting her permit, every parents nightmare :scared1:

Never heard of that service/thingy you mentioned, I might need to check that out. We use 10-10-987. Germany is the only long distance calls we make, and normall not 8 calls in 1 day!!!!

MP, adorable outfits and beautiful baby :cloud9:

Mony, YIKES on the boys. I hated group projects for just that reason in college, you can't rely on some people. But they won't make it far in life, you have to be able to work with a group, which I guess is the whole point of it all!

Peej, thanks for the nice comment about my work. Great comment from the kid, LOL

Nab, dang on basement stalling again, never ending project it seems...

If you haven't seen it, Moo posted on FB today that she had a late start to Epcot after sleeping in and a swim in the pool.

Work today went farily well, I had every intention of leaving at 5. But at 3:45 I got roped into tracking down a discrepancy that was important to find, since corporate is trying to tie out budgets. But I found it, thanks to my deductive reasoning skills :teacher: A difference in hierachies out of a system which should agree. But I got out at 6:15, so not too bad.

BBN, Twinkie, WT, Pumba, Lil G and whoever else I forgot

According to local news, a prototype remote tire pressure device was attached to one bus in 1998 and never removed.

That caused the whole disturbance!

I really need to go to bed, but I feel the need to read, and post!

I like working in groups, and I can't help that I know most of the answers, most of the time. To stinking bad I'm a girl, but I've proven myself over there and stopped the team from submitting something very wrong during week 2. I guess some people just have problems with smart girls.

Nab its a 4 credit hour class in just 8 short weeks!:scared1:

Peej: It was nice I got introduced to all the teachers and the EI teacher invited me to come over to her room one day.

My BFF had a relationship which produced her now 18 and 16 year olds. Their dad was diagnosed being bi-polar many years ago. He went off his meds since the reunion and went on a bad binge of drinking and was picked up by the police and taken to the hospital where he stopped breathing and it took them 18 minutes to intibate. NOT GOOD! His kids are his only blood relatives and its just a mess. Please pray for them. My BFF Liz, is a mess cause she has to watch her kids go through this. She is married to another man who totally thinks she is off to be crying and upset over him. He's a whole nother story.

She just needs to be strong and I told her to tell him to leave them alone, leave if he has too, so they can get through this. He hates her kids cause they came from the man who is practicly brain dead at the moment. He has no compassion, and he plays major mind games with all of them. I think the 16 year old could possibly break and try to seriously hurt him if he pushes them too much. It's just a bad situation all around.

Cel: I don't like mice. Especially the ones who come inside my house. Buy a hawk. Problem solved.

Marita: It's crazy the hours you work, hope you get some down time soon. Maybe you should go visit Cheryl?

MommyP: I love all the pics! Yea for being able to get what you wanted. I'm afraid to get a perm, although I have considered it several times. Looks good.

Hi Lexy! You have another one driving? Unbelievable.

Just thought I'd do a quick check in. Sorry I haven't had a chance to download any photos yet. Epcot today was fun and I got my Off Kilter fix! ;) I'll probably go back with on Thursday - I think they'll do a soft opening that afternoon on the Food & Wine Festival booths. My sis and her BFF left their hotel at Universal a day early and got a room at Pop, so they came over to BLT to see our the resort and have dinner with me. We went to the Wave. YUM!!! I just had a crab cake which is one of the appetizers, but had a taste of my sister's beef tenderloin and we all shared the dessert trio.

I spent part of the evening gathering up my stuff for the move to Saratoga Springs tomorrow. Don and Mari will be heading home in the evening tomorrow :( Not quite sure yet what we're going to be doing tomorrow before they leave. Probably either hanging out at the pool or Magic Kingdom. I'll check in when I can!

mony - sounds like your bff has bad luck in men. :(
Watch the kids - they could be bipolar too.

That's one reason mamacel thinks it might be a good idea if none of us have kids.
So she can just have neurotic grand puppys instead! :lmao:

And they both are VERY neurotic dogs.

Hi moo! See you friday!!

marita- that's crazy about the tire thingie causing the bus problem.
if that happens while I'm there, you'll be getting a call to come pick us up! ;)

I hope everyone has a good day! I got to work at 6:30 this morning! :scared1:

My friend pat said "You haven't been to bed yet, right?"
Ha. cuz it's so unusual for me to get to work before 8, much less before 7!

Mony - At first I did one with the largest rollers, but it lost almost all it's curl after about 4 days. My hair was too just heavy for it. So we did it again a week later and went down 2 roller sizes and it's perfect. I never would have done it if my sister wasn't a pro. I trust she knows what she is doing, I didn't want it to look like a perm. I wanted it to look natural, I'd say it does.

Moo
- Have fun. I wish I was there! It feels like we'll never be able to take a family trip again. I wish they'd stop raising prices.

Chad and I went to Universal a couple Saturdays ago. We had gotten a FREE 2-park 1 day pass in the mail. Universal sucks. NONE of the rides are made for familes. You can't take lap babies on anything, even dumb sit down things. And only a couple rides between the 2 parks don't have a height restriction. We certainly won't be taking our shorties there, ever. But at least they send out incentives to get you there.

According to local news, a prototype remote tire pressure device was attached to one bus in 1998 and never removed.

That caused the whole disturbance!

That would be funny - in a sad way... IF the authorities hadnt JUST arrested 5 terroist suspect in NY - and they are looking for more - all the busses and trains are on high alert looking for backpacks - the authorities found backpacks with explosives... :sad2: all we can do is pray...

Speaking of Prayers:

Alli :scared1: Its rained so much more since I talked to her yesterday - and MORE RAIN is forecast! Hope all went well with your mom's surgery - I'll try and call later and update... :grouphug:

Mony that is heartbreaking... and it is almost like an episode on the reality show Real Housewives of OC - - I HATE mean people and that new husband sounds like a real piece of work... we can all understand, the grief is coming from dreams - dreams and hopes that didnt get fulfilled - and there had to have been good times - 2 beautiful children... so sad.

Cel :cool1: You're going to DISNEY.....

Moo I sense a tad bit of sadness in that post - goog thing you will have reinforcements coming on!! :wizard: What kind of phone do you have? Check to see if you can record audio files - then make sure you record Off Kilter to your phone! :thumbsup2 (mine is in the my tools section where the pictures are - I had never used it, was bored waiting for a dd concert, started playing around, and viola - I could do sound recordings :rotfl2: the things I dont know about my phone!)

Good Morning everyone!!!!!!!!!!Mommie P Elle is so cute. Nab I am finally getting a new bathroom and Utilty room re done. They had to have new floors and major repairs. I am so excited . Also My bedroom has to have a new floor. I have to move everything out of my room in 3 days. This guy we have doing the work is a distant cousin of dh. He is really fast. Sorry I have not posted lately but I have been busy. Hugs to all of you.

Mommy P-- she is adorable , you have the pink going on. Was kind of hoping to see one of my outfits on her....but these will do. Hannah weighted the same as Ellie does now 8lbs 8oz. :lmao:

Marita-- That is really weird about the tire thing, don't the buses get checked daily and someone would have seen this device before. :confused3

Celery-- one thing that freaks me out is mice. I am the type that would jump up on chair if I saw one. I watched House last night too. Which part did you miss the first or second hour?

Celmama-- yay on the remodels, I am sure it will look really nice. I wish I was rich enough to do all my rooms over. When you do one it make the other rooms look bad.

Sandy-good luck to your hubby, I'm with Marita boo on the lossing the PC. Biggest Loser is on tonight by the way .....

Allie-- Hope it stops raining for you soon. We are suppose to get rain too for the next few day. Very humid for the first day of fall. Actually fall starts at 5:18 pm or something like that.....

Nab - All your outfits are still too big. You'll have to wait a few months. lol

Nab - All your outfits are still too big. You'll have to wait a few months. lol

See I had all big babies so they didn't look big to me....:lmao: Hope Ellie stays small for awhile, babies grow too fast.

Speaking of growing fast wonder how Twinkie's doing? She must be growing.

I bet twinkie is really faaaaaaar along.
:lmao:
where's babycow been?

nab - I saw the guy getting ready to jump, then it went off and came back about 5 minnutes later - it took me forever to figure out if he died or not.

I just put in for a vacation day for Friday for dinner with Moo and Cel, w00t!
