In other Disney news today, they found a suspicious package under a Disney bus at AK and bus service was totally suspended all over property for at least 3 hous. I can't even imagine the mess that that must have been!!!
On the local news tonight, they showed a pic of tons of busses all parked somewhere and not going ANYWHERE

This morning at work was another nightmare, but it calmed down this afternoon. It should be fairly quiet for the next few weeks, lots of work, but no overtime or stomach-knot inducing stuff (Famous last words!!)

I think we have a freakin' math genius here right?

Not looking for answers, I just can't find from the lesson what I learned to apply to this equation. It's all about Polynomials, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing them. Last chapter was on systems of Linear equations and we did solve systems of linear equation using 3 variables, but not set up like this. If I had a hint, maybe I could make all the junk in my head make some sense.........hmmmmmmmm......

Hello Moovers!

I just popped in quickly to say bon voyage to those about to travel. Hope you have a wonderful time, Moo! And Cel, I hope your trip is just the right amount of fun and relaxation to make all your recent troubles be forgotten.




I have been crazy busy lately. Boris' soccer season is now in full swing...that's 2 practices and a game per week. CCD starts this weekend for both kids....Natasha on Saturday mornings and Boris on Sunday mornings. Did I mention that I somehow got roped into volunteering at the church office after Sunday Mass, while Boris is at CCD? Plus, this week Boris joined Strings Attached, which is the town's orchestra program. When we went to get his viola today, Natasha decided that she'd like to take guitar lessons (a la Taylor Swift, I'm thinking). She walked around the music store and decided on a beautiful sparkly silver Les Paul guitar. Price tag: $4200!!!! Needless to say, the owner and I re-directed her to a more reasonable alternative. We haven't signed her up yet....I want to be sure that it's not just something she said on a whim. I'm planning on waiting until after the weekend....if she still wants to commit to lessons, I'll sign her up early next week.

dd is still staying her course!

Mony dd says the answer to everything is "42" (you have to know Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" 42 is the answer to life the universe and everything - see if that gets you any points!! She didnt know an answer on her math test today - so she wrote 42

Update on today's Disney bus bomb scare:

300 busses were taken out of service after a suspicious package was found affixed to under a bus. They were all lined up in a huge line at an inspection facility, but dispateched after they were cleared. Nothing bad was found by the bomb squat.

News said most people were grateful Disney took action. Disney expanded some park hours to avoid major backups.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!! I'm going to try to get a few hours of sleep. Have to get up at 3:30 to get a shower so we can be on the road to the airport at 4:30. In pleasanter news, we upgraded on-line to business class. Front row! So that should make the flight a little more comfortable.

I'll try to check in occasionally and post some photos if I can.

Marita, I'll be in touch at some point, most likely later in the week to make our plans. Looking forward to seeing you again! Yikes on that bus issue Hope things go more smoothly for us

Momentary lull in Sweet 16 slumber party action. So far we have tie-dyed t-shirts, had pizza/drinks, and now the girls (all 13!) are at the HUGE Oktoberfest in our neighborhood. It's only one block over so hopefully they will all return.

We're having Disney princess cake at 9:30.

They go home at 10:30 a.m. and we'll head down Nashvegas way sometime tomorrow while 80,000 people are here in my neighborhood for a lil ballgame with Loo-uh-vull.

Wicked on Sunday.

HAPPY TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY! ARRrrrrr, me hearties!!!!

And Goog Morning from Bay Lake Tower! We had such an early wake-up yesterday (I was up at 3:30 am to shower and get to the airport on time after only a tiny bit of sleep) that we decided to have a late start today. It's Mari's 27th birthday today, but I don't want to wake her up.

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at Animal Kingdom, then went back to BLT to check in and get settled. This place is gorgeous! I like the modern decor and can report that the bed was VERY comfortable. It is definitely hotter and more humid than I am used to, so I can certainly sympathize with Pumba. We were too tired to go back out to a park in the evening, so Mari and I took a swim and Don just relaxed a while. For dinner, we just picked up some food at the Contempo Cafe and brought it back to our place and watched the Hallowishes fireworks from our balcony while listening to the music that was piped into the sky bridge

Today we're off to the Magic Kingdom once everyone is up and around. Mari's birthday dinner tonight is at Kona Cafe We're also celebrating our 30th anniversary!

Marita That bus pkg thing - weird! Glad its over, its been a rough year for the Disney Transportation Dept! Egg Salad? Well, I just mash up yolks with miracle whip (sweeter than mayo) salt pepper, and pickle relish - dh adds a tad of mustard... IF I'm in a big hurry, I just cut the egg in half and smear the miracle whip on top sprinkle a touch of relish and eat!!

Marita-- I don't do anything special with deviled eggs either. Salt , pepper , miracle whip, used to put paprika on top until I went to a tupperware party and they showed bugs or something in it if is left out in the light.

FB tells me I need a new address because mine is invaild.....I guess because I never go to the Hotmail. Thought I knew the password but I guess I don't. The funny thing is I say I forgot my password and it says it will send it to your email... What good is that I can't get into it. This is the one under my name not hubby's.

De'iled eggs: Boil eggs for 12 minutes in water and bakin' soda. Peel, cut in half, mash up the middles with some mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and a tiny bit o' sugar and a splash o' 'inegar. Ye'll ne'er get me buried booty!
