Lynette we're supposed to get up to 85 by Thursday!! I think its because my parents are coming from Ft Myers - and they'll put their dock in - so maybe you should rethink your pool deal??? (j/k of course - it sure is cold at night tho! Love that cool night!)

Sandy, looks like DH will have to do a bit of work on the pool before it can be opened. Apparently, some sort of valve-y thing for the filter cracked during the winter, so now it'll have to be replaced before he can open the pool for the season.

Lynette - I wouldn't be opposed to having more than one game going at a time

L - My friend had a sleep study last night and they woke her up after a couple hours to have her wear a c-pap, which she didn't do very well with. She said she couldn't breathe through her nose (which I think is fairly typical) and ended up developing a bad headache. She was pretty miserable and depressed when I picked her up this morning.

Someone else is taking her to another CT scan on Thursday and a heart-related test on Friday. I sure hope they can figure out how to get her headaches to stop soon and her vision problems to clear up. She hasn't had a TIA for over a week now, but she's still having a really tough time keeping it together.

So more prayers for my friend Debbie would be greatly appreciated.

Nab Yes, I know they were picked for Melissa, but I'd hoped as sooon as they threw it to Jillian, they could've had a back up plan!! and they arent finished filming according to FORT - but they can film that last scene easy peasy! (Jillian, we want to promote this season, will you wear this dress and come stand out here with a rose? some say she asked for more days before picking the last dude standing!) (not that I"m obsessed!)

Marita we have a sweet tomatoes restaurant here - its ok - its still buffet food - its kinda confusing - you stand in line at a salad bar - build a salad - lettuce, cucumbers etc a few macaroni type salads - then you get a drink (sodas have free refills but I think they have a good lemonade) then you find your seat - then they have another area for buffets - good breads, desserts are just like Disney desserts on a buffet - ice cream station,

I sorta kinda half watched AI and DWTS tonight, just couldnt get into it this season, but thought I'd catch the end to see what the fuss is about.

Gotta go to bed now, despite not sleeping last night, I still didn't sleep any today, so I better hit the sack, frigging 9am meeting tomorrow, ughhhhhhhh!!

Tomorrow Maddy is sceduled for her tube surgery. Today she woke up with Pink eye, and a nasty cough. It was causing her to ALMOST puke.


Got to call the Dr. and see what they say.

Can I ask a favor? I almost hate asking since I haven't been online much lately. Just because I haven't posted doesn't mean I haven't been reading.

Anyway, Please say a little prayer for my mom. She is having her hip replacement surgery on Tuesday. I have worked it out to where I will be able to be there for her surgery. The swine flu really messed up our calendar. Come to find out, that even though the kids have school next week, I can write a note and they will be excused! I had registered for a 10K here for Monday, but I will just lose that $12. That's ok, I think it will mean a lot to mom for me to be there.

The kids and I are traveling over on Friday. My nephew graduates from high school that morning. Can't make that, because DS has to take his finals on Friday, but as soon as he is done. We will be on the road, and will be there for several days.

Dad and I are going to have to clear out a clear path from the back door to her bedroom, so she doesn't have any risk of falling once she gets back home. The hospital doesn't want her going to a rehab facility. They would like her to stay at home. I have my work cut out for me because they have a lot of STUFF in that house, and I am always running into stuff, stumping my toe, etc. whenever I am over there.

I called and told her today and she sounded excited. My older sister, who lives in town with mom, decided to have a double root canal on the morning of mom's surgery. Don't know why she couldn't have scheduled it for another day. Anyway, I'm glad that it has worked out for me to go and be able to stay for a little while.

Maddy's surgery was cancelled, she has pink eye and Bronchitis. Her ears are so bad, they changed her anti biotic to a z pack.

Now we have to wait another two weeks.

Mony, poor Maddie, she's having such a rough time. Hope she gets all fixed up soon.

Still been raining awfully today, all day, since Monday. And one more day to go. Not like the usual summer showers, there is flooding in places.
On the positive side, lunch at Sweet Tomatoes was good, I had potatoe leek soup, it was great. I didnt get the hang of the place until it was a bit too late, or I would have gotten a few salad bar items.
Sandy, you are right, that layout is very confusing. It was busy as all getout there though.

Long days and hope that we can relax this weekend.....we are going north AGAIN to see some properties......but on our own and no realtor yet.....we can see the location and the outsides and see if this is what we want to see ...and then we can make an appointment and go inside......alot of work to get a place so we can go hunting .....and possibly have a place to be in when we get a little bit older.

Marita, have you heard anything about Disney opening a hotel in the Boston area? My DH said he heard part of a news story on the radio yesterday that mentioned it, but we can't find anything online or on local TV.

No, I haven't heard anything. But no corporation can release details to employees before it is made public, because of SEC laws (unfair trading and such). So in short, I dont know and probably won;t before the general public. So IF anyone leaked anything, it would have to someone really close to the project.

Thanks all for the prayers for my friend, Debbie. She was feeling well enough to get on the computer today and sent me a thank you e-mail. I'm going to call her tomorrow before she goes to Ann Arbor for her CT scan (tomorrow night) and heart test (Friday morning) and then I'll go visit her on Saturday.

Marita - Glad you enjoyed your soup today. Potato leek sounds yummy!

Our office is having a belated Cinco de Mayo celebration tomorrow, I went shopping tonight but am still deciding what to make. Either a 7-layer dip or chili, I think.

Moo, DC is about a 10-hour ride from Boston, if memory serves. I'm wondering if my DH misheard the news snippet. I thought it was odd that Disney would buy property around here.
