Just looked on the tracking and fed ex will deliver hubbies new camera tomorrow.....

The credit union called and I won a ham.......a HAM ......I hope it isnt a spiral ham but a ham ham......do you know what I mean...? I have not won anything in a bazillion years......when our grandson was in 5th grade and sold raffle tickets and I won one of those lights that go over a desk or a piano.....I dont have a piano so the desk will be good....

We saw a photo of a place up in Gods Country that is not to bad.....I am not going to get excited about it ......cause you know what happens if ONE DOES!!! I will email our realtor and just ask for the disclosure papers on it to look the stuff over......it does have a nice kitchen with big wooden cabinets that go up to the ceiling.....so maybe we will go and see it and then maybe we wont.......hahaha.....need attitude.........was beginning to think that no places would come out because it is getting to be nice weather.......well it is getting closer to nice weather time.....never can tell...

see you all later gators:grouphug:

HELLLOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who missed me? Not everyone at once now! I am so happy to be home! Disneyland was absolutely perfect. I loved it! Seeing Ellen was pretty much the coolest thing ever. She is so freakin hilarious! The end of the trip when we stayed with our gay friend in Hollywood left a little to be desired, however. Allow me to just say if I never see naked go go dancers and gay bars again, I will die a happy person. I'll spare y'all the details. Really though it was an absolutely fabulous trip and I am so happy we went. It was really just a wonderful experience. That said I'm happy to be back to my own little life. Missed you all!
:grouphug:
I'll post pictures and whatnot another time. I'm going to attempt to skim back at this point, but I make no promises.

How did Clem like Disneyland? Or is he more of a World guy?

BDG

Twinkie - It's okay. I figured it was either Gabe or Goldenchild. Which is why I didn't call you back. :)

I've been ignoring me the last few days worrying over DH, so after work I bit the bullet and went to urgent care, cause my over the counter pills stopped working. I was in so much pain when I breathed.

I have pleurisy. Wonderful!

Here, I looked it up for you: Pleurisy, also called pleuritis, is an inflammation of the pleura, which is the moist, double-layered membrane that surrounds the lungs and lines the rib cage. The condition can make breathing extremely painful. Sometimes it is associated with another condition called pleural effusion, where excess fluid fills the area between the membrane's layers.

All they can do for me is give me motrin 800's for the pain. It does help control the pain.

Moo: I am so happy for your accomplishment. WTG!:cheer2: You need a ribbon.

BDG - lol. For real. I actually laughed out loud.

Mony - How do you get that and does it go away?

Lynette - I forgot to send congrats for Boris's big win in my post earlier. w00t!!!

I feel for you being chilly in the office since I'm losing some of my insulation :scared: I haven't felt this cold in ages. What does CBM want you to do, work with an afghan over your lap?!

Moo, that's great about Mr. Moo's surgery date. It'll make it easier on both of you to be sharing the journey. Pixie dust and prayers that his surgery and post-op goes as well as yours seems to be going.

Thanks for Boris' congrats. He's quite proud of himself.

CBM was in West Palm Beach (staying for free at his cousin's ex-wife's house, if you can believe it!), so he doesn't care that the office was like a meat locker yesterday. Thankfully, I've learned to keep a bulky sweater at my desk, along with a selection of things to make tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Still, it's unpleasant to have ice cold hands and feet all day long. :sad2:

Lynt- I was thinking the same thing as I loaded my cart last night. I realized that I would need to go shopping again on Friday for Easter because it was too early to stock up on perishables like eggs. I hope it warms up. I have a ton of errands to do but I hate being out and about in the cold. Have fun on the field trip. My last field trip was to our state capital but that has been a few years. The teen is too old for parents on field trips and the girls just started having them this year. So far I have lost (?) the lotteries that allow parents to attend.

We had a great trip to the State House, despite rain and wind again today. I had a group of 6 kids who mostly behaved and stayed together. And Boris' teacher is a hoot (albeit one who gives buttloads of homework!). The kids got to go into the House chamber and meet with our Representative. No sign of our Governor though. Perhaps he was jetting off to Jamaica or picking out expensive draperies for his office. Cuz that's how he rolls. :sad2:

Thankfully, our group narrowly missed a rather boisterous demonstration by some Transgender Activitist Alliance or some such. There was quite a selection of interesting characters present for that little shindig, I tell you. :scared: Lots of piercings, tattoos and clunky shoes.

I have pleurisy. Wonderful!

All they can do for me is give me motrin 800's for the pain. It does help control the pain.

Ouch, Mony! I had that once, so I know how painful it is. Hope you feel better soon!

BDG, how's the parking garage biz these days?

Everyone else.....!!!!!

BDG - lol. For real. I actually laughed out loud.

Mony - How do you get that and does it go away?

1. What a coincidence. I did too.

2. Nuthin that a little penicillen won't cure.

Where is Lexie anyway? I kinda miss not being included in her Morning Shout Outs. And her "glowing drink" picture. And her high school graduation picture.

Whoa! What we have here is a gen-yoo-wine BDG posting frenzy. To what do we owe this dubious honor?

MP: Its just a virus that settled there. Im surrounded by lil ones that aren't mine all coughing and sneezing. And it bettrt go away, quickly.

BDG: I wish they gave me an anti-biotic, but those don't help virussusses. Just the pain pills.

I think you mean a veritable BDG posting frenzy.

I was on anti-biotics for about 3 weeks. Those pills are HUGE.

BDG

Evening all!

First off, thanks for all the well wishes and prayers for my Mom. :grouphug:

Mony, yikes, sickness again? You just can't catch break! Hope you feel better soon.

Who's BDG?????

Just finished working here (but did some housework too), but only because it was a fun analysis for me to do, not because I had to. So it was part work, part play. The boss left for the other side at 4:40 today, so I got to leave at 4:45, hehehe.

If anyone has followed ZZUB's blog, he posted his final post today, from what it looks like.

At a meeting today someone said that hardboiled eggs are a good source of protein for breakfast. So I thought I might boil a few tonight to take to work.
I got a cheese omelette croissant for breakfast today, and by afternoon I was hungry for a snack. So I had 2 packs of the Reese's peanut butter cups I liberated from DH's stash yesterday :rolleyes1

Oh, this morning, I got stuck on the top of the exit ramp from 528 (from the airport) to I-4. Broken down DME bus. They had all lanes of I-4 shut down. It was an odd view, I saw the flashing lights and a bunch of cars stuck on I-4 with not a single car on the road from that point on. I turned off my car and put it park.
Luckily, it only lasted about 10 minutes from the time I got there.

Ah, it WAS a veritable BDG frenze today! Before that, long time, no posties. Who did you have at the top of your bracket, B?

There sure were a LOT of mopey people in my office today, but my DD was pretty pumped! She posted a video (from the local paper's Web site) of the crowd on Franklin St. on FB :scared1: EEK! I've seen photos before, but it was quite amazing to see the video coverage.

Mony! Hope you feel better soon :grouphug: Sounds like maybe you got run down from the stress of waiting to hear about Tim's test.

Thanks so much for the nice comments about my weight loss! :) It sure feels good to be going in the right direction. I am also hoping things go smoothly for my hubby, since the approval process was pretty rocky. His took a little longer than mine did.

Pumba - Hope this property is THE ONE!

Lynette - Yay for having a good field trip! Hope you didn't have to answer too many questions about the demonstrators! Sending pixie dust :wizard: for a warmer office tomorrow!!! It was very cold and windy again here today. Brrrrr.

Marita - Did you know that you can find already hard boiled eggs at the store? That's what we do here, anyway! It makes it quicker to make deviled eggs, too.

Those poor people on the DME bus - if they were heading toward the airport, I sure hope nobody missed their flights!

Twink - Did you get your test written? Was it a hard one?! Too funny about the accidental call to MommyP! Maybe your little guy wanted a kitten!!! :lmao:

Moo - When does your hubby have his surgery?

I just got my confirmation for my half marathon!!!!!:woohoo::yay::dance3:

Allie - My hubby's going to start his "journey" on May 1! That will give me just long enough to build up a little leave time to take off.

I'm pretty happy it'll be on a Friday - less days off work for me since I should be able to bring him home on the weekend. Hope he isn't too cranky on the 2-week pre-op diet

april first? :confused3, snowing here today.

Marita - Did you know that you can find already hard boiled eggs at the store? That's what we do here, anyway! It makes it quicker to make deviled eggs, too.

Moo, yes I did know that. But I'll be danged to spend that much for what I can do in a few minutes, most of which you can even sit down. (although I have bought some on a couple of occasions).

I am quite pathetic when it comes to boiling eggs. I have to look up instructions every time :sad2: I found a new recipe (yes, for boiled eggs) which recommended heating eggs to room temp first for easier peeling, in addition to the normal older are better and cover by an inch, etc instructions. I may have read that before, but apparently I forget, so I end up looking it up every time.

Allie, YAY on you race registration!
