RED WINGS?
:rotfl2:

ds made his friend a red wings table for the friend's birthday -

say "hi" to Chris Chelios for us!!

DH finally came home at 2:30 - he'll probably sleep till 8pm.... guess I'll make spaghetti for dinner - easy to reheat....

DS wants to run a triathlon! Anyone want to sponsor him? I think he needs $500 worth of "stuff" (wetsuit, since he has to swim in Lake Michigan, bike shoes, shorts, clips, helmet, gloves,) At least he is working toward a goal! I bought him a book to help him train...

Goog Afternoon, All! I've had a MUCH better day today :)

Thanks, Sandy! I'm watching Oprah right now.

I also had Ellen on today (with the sound off because I was on the phone), just in case Peej was on there today. Didn't see her.

Allie - I'll second Sandy on how much fun it is to visit Chicago :thumbsup2

bbn - EXCELLENT April fool's pranks! Thanks for sharing :lmao:

Reese's egg for breakfast? Yummmmm.

You too, Cel and Nabbie!!!

Lil Blue - I read that about the Wonder. Woo Hoo!

Mony - Hope Tim gets good news soon!

Here's a photo of the beautiful flowers that Mony sent me once they opened up a bit more. Thanks again!

Marita - 9:30? When did 9-5 turn into 9-9:30? Does that mean you don't have to go into until 1 today? ;)

I still work 9-5 in the office. I always work really late during forecast, so I now just do more in the office as oppose from my couch.

Hi all, just popping in to say HI

Busy day today, nothing to report.

BBN, great April Fools jokes.

Moo - How is your recovery going?

Marita - I hope you make good money for all you do for Disney.

I vacuumed this morning and made potato soup for lunch. Ethan is very excited about having potato soup for lunch instead of the usual PB&J. Which is what we'll probably have for dinner since Chad won't be home. School two nights this week and a work meeting tonight. I am going crazy with boredom and I feel all PMS(y) this week for some reason. :sad1: This week cannot end soon enough. Hopefully the overtime work won't be ready until next week I don't think I can handle another day alone. :scared:

What has everyone been up to?

Still no word, and he left for Seattle to drive one of their trucks to S. California. It' is times like this I wish I could go with him. For sure we would have made a stop for DL.

The MI weather is finally nice and we fly through our AM routine to get outside. The love it and I can'T WAIT TIL ITS WARM ENOUGH to work on my tan.

Sandy why lauggh at the Red Wings, did I miss something? Maybe after the game, we'll go eat at Chelis. Then I can say hi for you.

Moo the flowers do look nice :)

Oh! One of my DC moms went back to work, so that helps with the one I lost from them moving to St. Petersburg, FL..

Peace out!

dh is going to take back his computer!

dd and ds went to see that Monster Movie yesterday! Its so nice to have a big brother around to take sister to the movie!!

Sandy, sorry about DH taking the computer, hope it's not for long.

Mony, willl keep sending good wishes

MommyP, potato soup sounds great, I had some last week at Red Lobster for lunch.

Nothing to report here today. Pretty quiet day. LOOOONGGG day, time just didn't move. I tried to leave at 4:55, but the boss cornered me with some questions on the way out. :sad1: Thank goodness it's Friday tomorrow!

I'm going to try to watch the series finale of ER tonight. I haven't watched it in years, but I thought series finale might be worth it. Nothing else on anyway.

I'm sooooooo tired of hearing the tornado sirens!!:scared1::scared1:

Yes, I'm safe, but was driving DD home from piano during the worst part of it today. :scared1::scared1:

We're fine, we just live in a big county and the tornado is past us, but the alarm still has to go off, and it's at the middle school which is in my backyard. :headache:

TIVO is doing my ER. I may go and try and ketchup. Been watching the weather all night.

Have a good Friday everyone! :grouphug:

Still working on DH....:wizard:

FYI - Oh, and don't make any comments about it on my FB page. I haven't told the kids, and DS IS one of my friends. ;)

Yikes, Allie, that is scary stuff! Hope it calms down tomorrow.

Allie - Stay safe!!!

I'm watching ER. It's been pretty good, lots of previous actors and actresses have been on it, but (as usual) there are parts I just can't watch :scared:

Well, I have officially graduated from liquids to soft foods and can have the high protein chips and pretzels from the doctor's office again and even a few saltines if I get all my protein in! w00t!!! It's great to be able to eat something crunchy again. I had some low fat cream of chicken soup for dinner. It tasted SO good :)

MommyP - I'm feeling good except for the darn knees. I had high hopes of being able to get back on my arthritis medication today, but no luck :sad1: I have to wait another whole month! Ouch. The doctor told me just to keep taking the Vicodin! I told him that I didn't think I can work if I'm taking the Vicodin so he gave me something different to try . . .

It should be an exciting adventure in eating tomorrow!

Moo, Yay for progressing on the food chain :yay: Good news.

Hope the meds work for your knees.

Thankfully, tomorrow is TGIF! :cool1:

LOOOONGGG day, time just didn't move.
I agree. I got up at 6:30 yesterday and it was sooooooo long. This whole week has been that way. Usually they fly by.
I'm sooooooo tired of hearing the tornado sirens!!:scared1::scared1:
Tornados are my biggest fear. We don't have big huge ones that run across half the county here, but we also don't have any warning for them. I'm constantly watching the sky during storms. Of course, I've never even seen a funnel cloud. :rotfl:

What are you working on your DH for?

Moo - I hope you can get back on your meds for your knees soon. I'm sure you don't want to have to keep taking pain killers for so long. :scared: Congrats on some solids!

Morning to everyone else!

I'm watching my little cousin today, a much needed $25 for the "Imaginary May Disney Trip" fund. ;)

Chad meeting last night went well. The company is doing well, however he didn't win one of the 4 TVs. Even though two people who weren't even there WON. WTHeck? That's so not fair. ;)

So now that we got some hopefully good news I'll present him with a print out of our budget with the disney trip added in and show him that there are no negatives. :lmao:

Any of you going for Free Dining? I wish I could, but I'll have a 4 week old, which is just a little too young for my liking to take into the World of Foreign Germs and Diseases. Plus 4 weeks is a little soon postpartum to be walking 10 miles a day in the Sept. heat. :rotfl:

There's always next year. Maybe we can do it for the new babies first birthday, which will probably be at the end of August.

I am getting HUGE. My belly is growing daily it seems. As long as my belly is the only thing that grows I'm okay with it.

MommyP - I'm trying to convince DH that a NYC trip is a goog deal. It is a GREAT deal right now, but DH is one who has to weigh all the options before jumping in to things that cost $$$. Which is a goog thing, but I'm afraid the rates will go back up (the airfare has dropped $120 since Monday :yay:). So maybe my imaginary trip will become a reality too. If not, that's just more money in our pocket, right?

Things are all calm down here in the South again. :cloud9: Tornadoes don't worry me too much because they have all these fancy radar things that can tell us exactly what path they are taking. Well, I missed the call from DH yesterday, as I was running up to the piano teacher's house to get DD. He was calling to say "stay put" because the REALLY BAD weather was coming our way. :headache: I had the radio on, so knew it was close, but I was also close to home, so that was the "secure building" I was going for. ;)

Gotta go get DD moving. Bus will be here soon!

MP: Funny idea for a thread. I double dog dare you. My youngest at the world was 10 months.

Watched the final episode of ER last night. Iused to watch it all the time, but stopped, but watching the final one was nice and a part of me is sad it's over. Nice seeing all the past faces. I even watched the one where they brought back George Clooney and, what's her name, the character Hathaway.

Allie: Good to hear you are goog. Scary times, I'd freak out at each dark cloud that I'd see. A childhood memory keeps me nervous about storms.

Moo: Yea on the solids. Would ben gay help the knees? Could you use A topical cream, ointment?

I went to pick up the baby this morning off the floor from one of her little tantrums and my back freaked out on me. I have a major owie that runs across my back between my shoulders. I can't believe this. It hurts to inhale.

We had a marvelous thunder/lightening storm last night. Today, just wet and rainy. That means we are stuck in the house. I had all the windows open yesterday. Loved it!

Happy Friday. Still waitng for the phone to ring.
