:sad:peej posted on facebook that she hates me.
do you think it's because of my joke about her not riding stuff?
:sad1:

How can I help to relieve your grouchiness? Can I offer you a hug? Some pixie dust? :wizard: A bottle of wine? All of the above?

All of the above would be great, thanks! Thankfully I am a bit less grouchy today.

Maybe they're testing it out on us and if we don't completely screw it up they'll let everyone try it. I promise to do my best to use the system correctly!!!

I'm pretty sure PJ is correct that you will be able to book online. I also heard they are working on response issues with the new system, so it might be awhile.

Twink, sorry about your trees. I lost all of mine in hurricane Charley in 2004. Thankfully none hit the house.

Gotta go get something to eat....

peej - I think babycow is rubbing off on you. that post was very pollyannaish.
Interesting. Apparently my conversion process is going right along with the plan and Phase 3 involves a Florida component. Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks everybody for the anniversary wishes.

Cel: I'm not much of a cat person either. I prefer dogs. However, cats keep showing up on my doorstep. I guess they never got the memo. @@
Stopping trying to hug me.

Did you remember to text them and let them know? Or wait. Maybe you can't text cats. No, you can't text in the Vatican. I always get those 2 confused.

Now you are just being mean.
But HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and The DH. :wizard: Maybe you should add a spay/neuter line item to you future vacation budget??? Just sayin.

Also Happy Anniversary to the CelParents. So many June brides. Us normal people waited for the peak heat and humidity and got married in August instead ;)

I have been super busy taking the little Twinkies to and fro. Also we have been having Weather repeatedly so the computer is frequently off... my yard is full of huge branches. HUGE. I am thankful none fell on the house but sad that I now have bare patches in my beautiful tree canopy out back. Also one of our skylights leaked. I didn't want skylights anyway... that is what you get in a totally 80s house though. I don't even want to think about what it is going to cost to repair the stupid skylight that I don't even like. Bah Humbug.

Gotta go- Grasshopper is calling me. His vocabulary has really exploded lately. How nice for alll of us that he can say things like "MOM!" , "cup" and "mine!". Seriously- he is the only baby that didn't call me Mama. He calls me Mom. :confused3
Sorry about the tree branch down situation. We're currently having some weather here and the tree in the back yard isn't looking too swell.

The boards will be down tonight from 5-7 in memory of Caskbill....who passed away last thursday.....today was his funeral......I didnt know if you all saw the post on it......
Hey the first time I tried to post a picture (and was unsuccessful) he pm'ed me and told me how to do it. I didn't even know him. He seemed like a very nice person.

Perhaps you should figure it out yourself. :snooty:

All of the above would be great, thanks! Thankfully I am a bit less grouchy today.
It's because of all the gifts I gave you!!!

p.s. I'm not at Spoodle's. Obviously. Hollywood is sick in bed. Apparently the parade today did her in. I did have a magical day in the Magic Kingdom today though. Photo evidence can be found on facebook. I love playing Guest instead of Cast Member.

Lynette - Your kids sure got out of school late! Snow days??? Anywho, HAPPY SUMMER BREAK :sunny:

Actually, my town is one of the early ones to start summer vacation. My nephews' school doesn't get out until the 22nd, and I think the city of Boston gets out on the 24th. We only had one snow day all winter. Annoyingly, this town doesn't call off school....they just delay the start of the school day by 2 hours for really bad storms. :headache: The kids in my town go back on the 1st of September this year.

Blech to skylights. We had one in our (totally 80s) last house. It leaked like a sieve! I would often get up in the morning to find a kitchen table soaked with icky water. Charming. I was SOOO glad to move out of that place!

Yes, but can cats text in the Vatican? :confused3

At Boris' request, I spent the better part of today trying to determine who all is slated to be in his 4th grade class in the fall. Seriously, I talked to about 15 moms today, only to determine that NO ONE we know will be in the same class! To make matters worse, no one knows anything about Boris' new teacher, since she is, apparently, a newcomer to the town's school system. Boris is a bit discouraged, since all of his buddies are in other classes. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but 4th grade in my town is in a different building from 1st thru 3rd, so he'll be finding his way around a new school SOLO! Oy.

On the other hand, although Natasha and her BFF are not going to be in the same 3rd grade class, she does have at least one friend (that we know of) who'll have the same teacher.

Oh, the trials and tribulations of elementary school!

Cats can text anywhere. Duh.

Is there any class switching that can be done at your request? Do they take parent requests? Those new teachers...sheesh. Who would want their kid in one of those classes?

Cel, my guess is that your crack about E being the funnier one didn't sit well with the Peej. Just saying.
You know me like the back of your hand. Or the back of my hand? Idk. Either way, excellent sleuthing. We're good at that, you know. ;)

Cats texting in the Vatican = ok. Gotcha.

I don't think I'd want to go switching him around, I think it's just odd and maybe a tad unfair for the same kid to have new teachers 3 out of 4 years. Even though the 2 1st year teachers he's already had have been spectacular. Additionally, so far he has ended up in 2 inclusion classes out of the past 3 years. I think their reasoning is that he's not academically needy or behaviorally "challenging", so having him in the inclusion classes means he's one less child for that teacher to have to worry about. But I think that they ought to really spread around the inclusion assignments.

Yes, I am an ace detective. But you knew that, right Watson? :cool2:

big l - is inclusion like mainstreaming? Maybe you can hope the new teachers will be full of gusto like our peej and not be burned out and will inspire him. or do you mean they're new teachers, but not new to teaching?

From smart sleuth Big L -
Reason: Cel, my guess is that your crack about E being the funnier one didn't sit well with the Peej. Just saying.

I figured she'd skim that part. :rotfl:

Just kidding, peej. You are as funny (if not funnier!) than elisabeth. Really. I mean it.

WHAT?!?!?

I am so changing my FB status to read: I hate Celery.

or wait.

maybe since I dish it out, I can take it. Apparently our hott college chick hasn't learned that lesson yet. *snicker*

Good Morning all....

Just finished up my front gardens, new mulch, annual plants and of course got rid of those darn weeds. My hanging plants are on my porch. I am ready for summer. It only took me two days to do it on my own. But I could just sit out and my bench and look at it all day.

I think you all are pretty funny myself. Everyone has there moments that is for sure.

Lynette-- we don't even find out our teacher until they start. They give us a letter XYZ . We do ask the other kids what letter they got to see if they are in the same class though. Poor Hannah's grade 4 class will be huge next year. They have 3 classes now and will only have 2 next year. JK - grade 3 they limit the class size to 22. Hannah had 16 in her class this year. They were also asked to pick 3 people they wanted in there class next year since the now gets to up make up the classes for next year.

Twinkie-- sounds like you are busy with summer activities. My turn is coming. We have been having some wicked wind this year, sorry about your tree and the leaky skylight.

Marita-- Hope your days are getting better. We all have grouchy days, just ask my kids. :rotfl:

Last edited by babynurse1; Today at 08:00 AM. Reason: that soooo counts celery. And besides we all know who the funny one really is.

Me. Ensembleduh.

Just checking in mid-VBS week. We have two 2 year olds, one 19 month old and two 17 month olds. Next year it's going to be a very large class. My sister and I will both have 10 month olds added in and if the associate pastors wife works there will be 2 more a one year old and 2 1/2 year old. Yikes.

I am tired.. the drive hasn't been too bad though, so I am thankful for that. Only 2 more days. Yay!

What's new?

ohh! he should change his name to those pretzel ritz ones. they're yummy! especially with a little cream cheese on them. preferably flavored.

There's a big difference in the way I'm confused and the way peej is confused! :lmao:

I did, however, say the ritz twist things were delicious and did imply that I think wt is delicious. ;)

Tonight her facebook status will be "I hate Celery AND Elisabeth! They're never getting in at Chef Mickey's even if I'm not here! and I'm going to dump random cats at Sunnybrook farm and promise to never meet Celery! I still like Lynette though. For the moment."

:rotfl:

I still like Lynette though. For the moment.

:rotfl:

that's kinda how my relationship with lynt is too. i take it moment by moment. cuz her voices are frightening and you never know when they might tell her it's time to *sever* that small thread connecting her to reality. (hey if i'm gonna have everybody ticked off at me, i might as well do it right)
