twinks - I vote for mailing the boys to Nab. :rotfl:

I worked all day yesterday. BLAH!
And I'm still not done.
I got one test and set of homework done - that means two classes are completely done -
but I still have to finish my open book exam for the hard class.
20 multiple choice, 3 short essays and two long essays.
BLAH!
It's taking forever.
I was hoping to be completely done so i wouldn't have to take my textbooks on my business trip, but no such luck.
I got a lot of regular work done yesterday too - I've gotta check my email before I leave for Albany.
I bet I broke one of our programmer's heart. :(
He was hoping I wouldn't find anything wrong with his update - but I found lots wrong.
See y'all later!

Twinkie -- I would take the boys for the day. They could play Bob the Builder , is that show even around anymore.....in my basement.

Mommy P-- people are just jealous that your boys are so well behaved and that they are all yours and they can't take care of their one or two.:lmao: EEk on the fire ants. You will do some dancing with those in your pants.

Poor Nicholas was all shook up last night. He was out on a bike ride with two friends. They were racing down the road, one friend decided to go on the side walk to pass and he ran into a mini van coming out of the school parking lot. :scared1: He is okay and under observation. He hit his head on the mirror and left his face print on the windshield. Thank goodness he had a helmet on. The other friend doesn't wear one...he is too cool. Hopefully this will make Nicholas always wear his.

Well the weather is beautiful today so out I must go....BIL is here already so I don't have to wait for him. :woohoo:

Twinks: Makes me wanna drive to your house on Friday.

Hi. I can't believe I have 4 classes left until this terms is over.
I finished my computer power point presentation a week early so I could attend Zack's field trip on Monday. I've never been on a field trip with him yet. This is an all day 5th grade camp. Sounds soooo fun.

And I just finished my Power Point Presentation for my psych class for tomorrow night and all I have to do is practice it (3 min limit). We had to find an article on Development and tie it in with the book somehow. We could of made a poster, I went with the PP, since I just learned all about it in IT class.

Went to the Tiger Game yesterday, they won! Beautiful gorgeous day it was yesterday.

Just kinda nice around here lately.

Tim's back in Cinci-can I spell it that way PEEJ?

Thanks Nab and Mony! I appreciate the virtual support.... and no need to drive. I can fedex the boys. ;)

Anyway- I have a solution!! I spoke to the teacher who said I couldn't bring the boys (duh) but she had another parent who would love to go. I said then by all means do that and I will go another year. I then called the DH and said he was off the hook.

HOWEVER, the teacher just called me to say I was welcome to bring the boys and meet them there.... I could walk along and even spend some time with each daughter's group but I wouldn't be in charge of any other kids.

:banana::banana:It turns out they are spending all morning at this place and having a picnic lunch. Then they are going to a local hospital which has a "play hospital" for the afternoon. That part is more structured. So I get to go see the cool farm stuff which is outdoors and then take the boys home for a nap. This is perfect. Plus I get to spend time with each kid because it wasn't going to be fair that I went to one class and not another.

I couldn't have designed it any better myself. ;)

Now I just need to get all the other stuff on my plate dealt with. I guess I should be thankful that I am not doing a dino project.

Marita...sorry I missed you, but if you read this I hope you have/had/are having a great trip!

Moo...glad to hear there were no problems with DH's surgery! :thumbsup2

Lynette...congratulations to you and Natasha! I'll have to go check out the pictures over yonder. I'm sure she looks absolutely gorgeous! :goodvibes

Nab...that's scary about Nicholas' friend! Glad he's okay. You're right, hopefully that will encourage Nicholas to wear his helmet. I'm really bad about that kind of stuff. Like wearing my seat belt, for instance. :rolleyes1

Twinkessori...so there's a lottery to see which parent gets the great honor of chaperoning a field trip?! Wow. When we had a field trip I couldn't get any parents to come and we had to beg retired teachers to help. I'm so glad it worked out!! How perfect!! Good luck on getting all your stuff done!

Monica...actually, if you're going with the abbreviated version of Cincinnati, you need to spell it Cincy. ;)

Cel, Lilg, MP, etc....:wave2:

I believe I passed another first year teacher rite of passage today. I was beurked on. Like all over me. It was disgusting. I had to go home in the middle of the day and change. When the mother of the beurking kid arrived to pick him up she was bending over backward apologizing to me. Ha. On that pleasant note, this week is teacher appreciation week. We are getting breakfast or lunch from the PTA every day this week!!! :woohoo: Score. Surely donuts will be involved.

How was everyone's weekend? I went to Cincinnati for my friend Ben's birthday. We spent the weekend here:

http://www.greatwolf.com/mason/waterpark

It was so much fun!!! Clearly not only am I cleverly disguised as a responsible adult, but all my friends are too. It's oko, that's the way I like it.

Twinkie-- glad you get to go on your field trip after all . I'm going on Hannah's next at the end of the month. They are doing eco system stuff. On the permission slip it asked if your child is allergic to insects... maybe it isn't a good one to go on. Then we have Pedal for Hope this week and a family art show next week. Busy, Busy , Busy.... When are you kids done for the summer?

P.J.-- What a year of first for you.... yuck! The family loves Great Wolfe lodge. Me not so much, that would mean I would have to put on a bathing suit. What I do for my family. I don't swim either so I freak out going down the tube on my own. The ones where you can go as a family are great, that and the wave pool. The rest of the time I am watching the kids have fun.

Mony -- that is great that you are almost done for the summer too.

Hi Celery  You snuck in on me this morning.

Hello everyone...

We arrived back last night and this was a busy day.....had to go to the Diabetes clinic this morning and then caught up with all the laundry.......made a meal with veggies.......YES I MISSED THOSE.....we had a great 8 days with our son and daughter in law and the two rug rats.......they were awesome the whole time......maybe one meltdown and that was it.....Owen went on splash Mt 7 times in a row and then BTRR twice in a row.......could not believe that....then on Saturday he did another four on splash Mt and then two more BTRR......He also did Test Track and loved all of these........remember he is 4.....he would say after each one........this is my most favorite ride...he wanted to do Expedition Everest but we told him we got fast passes for that.......we couldnt find an adult (among us four) that would do it with him......we are nuts I know.....

I am exhuasted ....cause having fun is alot of work.......the weather was fantastic and I have a mild sunburn .....my neck got it worse......the heat was really nice to have but found out that Maine had 95 degrees this past Tuesday when we were 85......it was great with no humidity....hot in Maine in April does not make sense.....

Hope you are all okey and will try to skim the pages I have missed.....

Welcome Back Pumba!!! :cheer2:

Sounds like you had a great time .....minus the sunburn that is.

-

welcome back, pumba. Mamacel was thinking about you the other day when she heard how hot it was in Maine!!

I'm in albany, ga.
and homework is still of the devil! :rotfl:
I'm still not done with my final, but I'm working on it. I'm just wiped out!

Yay, Mr. Moo is feeling MUCH better today! He's finally able to get his liquids in.

Lil G - I figured you had found a big morel, but there are people who eat some interesting mushrooms :hippie: I see by some photos on Facebook, that some of my cousins were successful in their morel hunt too!

Pumba - WELCOME BACK!!! Glad you had a great trip :)

Twink - Moo Hoo that your field trip dilemma worked out! :thumbsup2

Nabbie - So sorry that Nicholas had such a scare, but sounds like that was a good life lesson

MommyP - The noive of some people! :scared1: Your boys are the poster children for well-behavedness at a restaurant :goodvibes

Cel and Mony
- Good luck with your end of school term projects! :surfweb:

Peej!!! Hope the rest of your teaching career is beurk free :scared: At least you'll have some treats to help get you through the rest of the week :woohoo:

Allie
- Nice chatting with you this evening! I managed to score some sugar-free popsicles from the Schwan's guy for hubby. And I got a new type of fish to try - hake. Hope it tastes good. I decided not to bake any tonight. Instead, I ate some smoked salmon that I picked up at the store tonight. Weird craving, but it sure tasted yummy.

It's odd - I only like dark chocolate, my sister mainly likes milk and my mom only likes white.

Not much to report here in MooVille except that my six week check-up went well and I can FINALLY take my arthritis medication again! :dance3:

I'm thisclose to reaching the 50 lb mark. Maybe later this week :goodvibes

Oh my goodness, peej! Someone else out there is named celery! what are the odds?
well, there was one on myspace.
but we all know I'm the REAL one.

I got my first B. Which is ok.
I'm not beating myself up about it or anything.
cuz I got an 89.45.
I needed a 91 to get an A.
and if I'd done just a LITTLE bit better....
oh well.
It's my fault for not finishing two discussions - that would have given me the 2 points I needed.
