Mmmmmm! I'll take some of that too, please.

I spent the early part of this week forcing myself to ignore the call of the brownie cookie bars that were left over from Natasha's Communion. I can't say that I was 100% successful.

Thanks, Moo!!! Those cookies look snazzy!!! I ended up with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, so you were close! Hey, I went to the gym tonight so the ice cream is okay. Yeah. Sure. I'll just keep telling myself that.,

fyi...i often reading....on the other sites..before lecturing,

.....really insightful....how & why....there're some behavioral

issues, @ the park. one poster can ask about line cutting, next
thing you kno, everyone fighting over stollers. one pattern,
...one problem stirs...a whole bunch..of "wild~fires". and it
the same on the cruise site.

some topics..like parades, children & picture taking......brings

out,,,,the thunderbolts.

to me, i pick up...on "some" while @ the parks, but most...just
ignore. sometimes, chuckling. [ like the lady..walking backwards..
who ..run me over, "watch where you going"..she said-,
i thought... now thats xalls! [ he, he, he...esp. since she was a
lady...

...i think..disney without children....would be missing something....
kids...are going to be rowdy...but i think many,,,, don't pick~up
...youngsters [ teenagers]...requires..a lil'limit setting.

[ one morning on the ship...i was taking some movies...in the family
pool..and this lil'girl, was trying to disrupt ..me...[ enough that made
it obvious...] all....i did..was let her kno.."i knew"..what she was
doing.

one of the oddest encounter..that i ever witnessed..occured over
@ a.k., seeing pocahontaus....some adult ladies...try to crowd/
in front..of a family with young kids...behind us. not for sure of
the whole dyanmics..but the mother from the family....got into
..a fighter mood! * why ? sooo strange....we were first....&
they were second/third....& nobody else was present.:confused3

..so there wasn't much if any differences..between the 2.

now..off the topic..listening to the news where they arrested drew
p., ..here's what i think......:yay:. [ just the ways he "reacted"
...toward those deaths....gives me the creeps..."cold-hearted, &
not a hint..of any feeling.....it isn't hard..to figure..out how dangeous
this man is.

someone talked..about the old mickey's ears balloons..brought back
the memory..of taking our boys..the first time, :grouphug:
where do the time go?

if i had one magic..touch..it'll be to have control over "time", :wizard:

MommyP, sorry about the washing machine. Don't know if it applies in FL, but if you buy an appliance that's Energy Star certified in MA, you get a credit on that year's taxes. I know it doesn't help you now, but it could benefit you when you file your '09 taxes. :confused3

Hmm, all the appliances we bought for the house are Energy Star, I don't remember there being a place for a credit of that sort on our taxes. However, if all it does is decrease your income amount, we don't need it. :rotfl: I think after all the deductions we get we have zero taxable income. :cool2:

I got a Whirlpool Cabrio, it's a HE Front Loader and is 5.0 cubic feet. Last night I put more than a whole days worth of clothes in there and 5 full size towels, plus a crib sheet. And we didn't have to buy a dryer because the HE washers spin so much more water out our dryer is still compatible. All that laundry dried in a more timely manner than before. Woot!

Right now I'm washing a king size sheet set, 3 towels and some clothes. :yay:

morning.......been a busy week just getting back to normal.....which we have not achieved yet......monday was a doctors appointment........tuesday another doctors appointment .....baby came wed and thursday and I held her most of the time cause of her teething and all.......last night visitation at the funeral parlor and then to the grocery store...today funeral for hubbies uncle.....and then tomorrow to the college to help haul back granddaughters stuff with her mama ......sunday is mothers day and I wish it was a saturday .....have stuff to do and clean up the rest of the vacation leftovers.....YIKES..
today the sun is out and It is BRIGHT......hahaha....
warning for those with critters.......the flea and tick meds over the counter at your local stores.....do not use unless you ask your vet.....a lady used it in our town and one of her three dogs had to be put to sleep....the other two are on antibiotics and steriods.......so always ask before using over the counter for our fur babies and FOR OURSELVES......just a PSA.....( this was an article in todays newspaper and the lady goes to our vet--who said always ask.)

love you all

I always use frontline for my riley pup - it works and it won't hurt him.
he's about out.
which means a costly vet visit!
eek!

I'm headed back home.
see y'all tonight.

Mommy P- :woohoo: on your new washer. We have the same tax thing going on here too. That is why we are doing our basement right now. If you fix up your house they will give you some money back on your income tax this year. They are trying to get people to spend!

Babynurse -- love the subliminal diet coke thing. I almost missed it.

Presents opened, our tradition is to put them at the bottom of the stairs with balloons on the banister and a poster saying Happy Birthday attached to the banister as well. Then when everyone is down there they may open the presents. We did get him a phone but didn't put it with the presents we put it in his room and called the number when he was done. His face was priceless. First Hannah and Nicholas didn't know what it was, they laughed there heads off, thought it was an alarm clock or something.

Cake is in the oven, timer is set so it better now burn or stick to the bottom like my last cake did.

Moo-- those cookies look so good, I almost want to go make some.....

Happy Friday, Moovers! It's a beautiful spring day here! No rain, just wispy white clouds in a gorgeous blue sky. Aaaaaaahhhh, I LOVE this time of year!

Wanted to pop in to say hey to everyone. I took today off, since the school book fair and the Parents' Visit for the dinosaur projects in Grade 2 is today. Of course, the dino visit is at 11, Boris' book fair is at 12:15, and Natasha's book fair is at 2:00, so I'll be running back and forth to the school all afternoon. They are both looking forward to getting some new books.

Pumba, sorry to hear about your hubby's uncle. Hope you find time to fit in all your chores!

Cel, safe travels!

MommyP, your new washing machine sounds like just what you need. Now if only they'd invent one that FOLDS the clothes........:rotfl:

NAB, happy birthing day, and happy birthday to Nicholas! He must be thrilled with his phone!

BBN, we'll wait as long as we have to. One cannot rush genius. :rolleyes1

I am off to view the dino creations of Natasha and her pals. TTYL!!!!!

eek!

I'm headed back home.
see y'all tonight.

I got my Frontline on Amazon, MUCH cheaper than at the vet or a pet store. I shop Amazon for EVERYTHING. ;)

Laundry about caught up. I am washing my other set of king size sheets, PLUS a king size blanket. Woot! I'm going to hang the blanket outside on the line though.

I cleaned the laundry room today, I need to get some bleach water in the mop bucket so Seth can mop in there. I cleaned my bathroom, bedroom and the boys bathroom. The kitchen isn't bad since the counters get wiped off at least 3 times a day anyway. And I just vacuumed yesterday.

I'm eating some vanilla yogurt(minus the sprinkles, Twinkie) and I need to get motivated to sew up another diaper bag. I'm meeting with my friend next week to discuss things and I want to bring a couple bags with me.

I finally figured up about how much each bag costs me to make. I am thinking I'm going to sell them for $35 for the smaller one(perfect for just one baby using disposable diapers) and $50 for the large ones. Perfect for more than one baby, even with cloth diapers, and also perfect for new Mom's who think they have to bring everything from home for their newborn. ;) What do you think about those prices?

MommyP, your new washing machine sounds like just what you need. Now if only they'd invent one that FOLDS the clothes........:rotfl:

They do, it's called kids. My boys fold all the laundry and now that I'm pregnant they even sometimes they fill up the washer with their dirty clothes and then switch it to the dryer. ;)

MommyP: I think those prices are doable. You can try it out for a while and see what happens and then if you have to adjust it.

Moo: Yea on real food!

Nab: My boys are asking for cell phones too. I just don't know. My kids don't go far. Not like I used to. (10 and 12 are their ages) Seems all the neighborhood kids have them, but those kids are out all day all over the place. My kids have to check in with me from time to time. That's why they invented bikes and legs to pedal them.

I didn't have a cell phone either when I was driving and come to think of it, I think I liked that, cause my mom would have been calling me all the time.:rolleyes1

Happy Friday Everybody!

Slow day. I finished up another bag. That makes 3 to sell so far. One is going to have to be discounted though because it was my first attempt at adding a snap closure and I messed it up.

Chad didn't have to work tonight. They rescheduled the work for SUNDAY. Ugh. But he shoudl only have to work until 12 or 1. I'm just going to take the boys to church by myself(on mothers day no less) and by the time we get home he should soon be home too. I am thankful he's home tonight though!!!!!!!

Holy crap. Have you seen the prices for MNNSHP? Gone are the days when that was an affordable way to go to the MK. It's almost as much as a one day ticket.

Did you see the discount for summer rates at WDW? $119 for a moderate. Thats awesome. We've paid $109 before in September. If only tickets woud go down. :(

Ha!!! That was brilliant!! I love it. Hope he had a great birthday. :goodvibes

Yes, but can you rush complete and total idiocy?

Last edited by babynurse1; Today at 09:57 AM. Reason: Lynt and PJ how long are y'all gonna be waiting?
Good things come to those who wait. :cool2:

Pumba...sorry to hear about the loss in your family.

MommyP...good news on Chad being home. Why must WDW constantly raise prices?

I have to go to Cincy. Blah. I don't feel like going home this weekend. However, it is Mother's Day and also little sister's bday is on Monday so we're celebrating that. It was raining torrentially after school so I decided to come home for a minute. Had to get their presents together anyway. I guess I'll head out now. Or not.

Mommy P -- those sound like fair prices. And yours look great too!! To bad Chad has to work on Mother's Day. You have the boys well trained in the laundry department.:thumbsup2

P.J.-- we are getting a thunderstorms going though here with heavy rain all night. Have fun in Cincy!

Pumba-- sorry for your family's loss.

I am debating on going home this weekend too because there is a 90% chance of rain tomorrow and I had driving that far in the rain, to many crazy drivers on the highway. The kids want to go, we will have to see.

We went to Montana's for dinner tonight. Nicholas picked it because he wanted to wear the moose ear hat. He wanted to use the picture for his screen saver. Most of us avoid wearing those, and a picture no way.

He is really been careful with the phone and the minutes....I called him to tell him we were leaving and meeting his dad for dinner. He had the phone off. Finally came home 15 minutes later. :headache:

Nabbie - I'm happy to hear that Nicholas had a great birthday! That was a funny prank!!! When do we get to see the moose ear photo?!

MommyP - Woo Hoo on the new gigantor washing machine!!! That ought to help speed up wash day!

Pumba - One of my hubby's uncles just passed away too - yesterday. Looks like the funeral will be on Tuesday. Thanks for the PSA on the dog product. We always go through our vet, but I'll make sure my DD knows.

Lynette - Hope you braved the dinosaur displays without shuddering too much! :lmao:

Peej - Have a nice visit with your family :)

Belated Happy Friday, bbn! I see you're having Jack and Diet Coke - a winning combination!!!!!!!!

Mony - Having real food again ROCKS! I had some Satay chicken for lunch today. Yum-O! And leftovers tonight. And some left tomorrow. Plus I shared with my friend who went out to lunch with me! I think I'm seeing a pattern here

Lil G - Did you find any more morels?

Where have Allie and Sandy been?????

Good afternoon, everyone! Thought I'd pop in and say hello before I get back to my housework. The laundry monster has reared its ugly head again. :rotfl:

Moo, I made it through the dino displays without being too terrified. ;) The kids did such a great job! I also got to meet everyone's caterpillars. Each 2nd grader has his/her own caterpillar in a little container on their desk, and they're going to watch the metamorphoses into butterflies. That classroom is teeming with activity, I tell you.

Peej, hope you enjoy your weekend at home.

NAB, cute way to give Nicholas his phone! Now let's see the moose ear pic!

MommyP, my DH has to work on Mother's Day too, at his part-time job. 10-4ish, I think. But it's nice to have the extra $$, especially since so many people are out of work now.

Off to launder, dust, vacuum, sweep and scrub now. Cy'all later!

Hot girl check in!

(sorry bad joke)

Just wanted to say hi and see how everyone was doing.

Heading to Dundee to visit some friends with friends for the day. Mommy beverages and lots of laughs on the agenda.

Hope you all get a chance to relax this weekend.
