Evening, all Took me a while to catch up tonight . . . I went to my weight loss support group after work and unexpectedly met a couple of the ladies I "know" from my on-line forum - that was pretty cool! And my daughter called tonight to let us know that she made it home safely tonight. Whew!

Hi Moo, glad you posted, I was getting a tad worried. YAY for Mari being home safe and meeting online friends. How cool!

I don't think I will do any more cooking for a couple of weeks. 3 meals in 3 days, what was I thinking???????? Way over my monthly quota of 2 to 3 meals.

I am in lame duck mode. Cancelling meetings all over the place. I have a ton of packing to do this week, 37 years worth of stuff (well, not really, a lot is long gone) but a lot of stuff that I probably will have no room for. Not that I room the last 3 1/2 years, stuff is still packed from when I moved last time. I have 2 boxes with college textbooks in my trunk from the early 80's that I just moved when I got a new car. I meant to clean that out today. ALas, another thing I didnt get done

Im not tired after my nap, but I better head to bed. Took some Nyquil, hope it kicks in!

Nab - That baby is so pink!(and cute) I hate when people have girls and dress them the same as their boys. I have a close friend who had a little girl and actually dressed her in her brothers clothes instead of buying girl things. Even though they had plenty of money to do so.

Yesterday was a horrible day to start with. So bad that Chad came home from work around 11. Thankfully his supervisor is cool like that. We ended up going up to Walmart to buy hoses. Our yard is in serious need of rain. We needed more hoses and sprinkler heads to water the front yard too. We got the cheapest of everything and still spent $90.


I think I need a bed that sways and moves all night so the baby thinks I'm awake and sleeps. I'm afraid the little one is going to be very confused and not be able to sleep in the still, quiet of the night.

I hardly feel it all day long, but at night it's a rocking and a rolling. Some headphones on my belly with sounds of the boys during the day might be helpful.

Lil'g-- that baby is new, she was only 9 days old. Just love the smell of her too. I envy Babynurse . She gets to hold new ones all the time. So sorry to hear about your friend.

Mommy P-- If you have a girl this time I will send you lots of pink!! This baby's closet is all pink and purple since she knew she was having a girl from the get go.

Moo-- glad you eating more then just protein drinks. Don't think I could make it on only them.

Celery-- tell us more about you new man! How come you didn't get yourself into the Hannah Montana picture, they filmed there didn't they? Hannah went to see it with her cousins this weekend.

so I called in the afternoon and left a nice message about how I was driving and bored and just checking to see if he went to work since he was sick.

So then at 7 I sent "You alive?"
THAT got a response.
It was a nice response. He LOLd and all. and asked how my drive had been.

Hello. Hope everyone had a nice Tuesday. Normal day here. One of my kids was wearing a shirt with a ribbon on either side of it that ties in the back...if that makes sense. Anyway, she decided to use said ribbon to tie herself to the bathroom sink. How she got the knot that tight, I really don't know. Anyway, she tied it around the faucet and I had to cut her off. You know, business as usual.

Wow, you're goog! I'm telling you guys, you have mad PJ spotting skillz. Or perhaps that's called stalking. We did have a great time. I would love to go back someday. Ellen is still my fave. My grandpa watched the show and he called me right when it was over and said "well, that's too bad that you guys weren't ever on the camera." So I'll let gpa know my internet friends are better at spotting me than him!

For anyone who watched the show, Hollywood and my other friend who was there (Scott) were almost picked to play the game during the show. While we were waiting to go into the studio they were walking up and down the rows of people waiting and picking people to potentially participate in the game. Except we didn't know that. They would walk by with a clipboard and look everyone up and down and then call random people into a trailer. They told us afterward that they were looking for people to participate in a game and the final people who were chosen would be called down by Ellen. About 20 people got taken back to the trailer. That would have been so cool if Hollywood and Scott would have gotten to play the game!!!
