My day off so far has been pretty darn unproductive. First I got up at 10:30 instead of 8 as planned. Then I checked email at work for a while, read the paper, etc. Then DS called with a question on Excel pivot tables. No problem, I thought, I love pivot tables, I'm an expert. HAH!! He has Excel 2007, I have 2003. They changed things around a lot in the new version, where the commands at the top change according to what you are doing. I have 2007 on my hard drive, but never really used it. Long story short, we got nothing resolved after 1/2 hour or more on the phone.
Finally got my shower in, and should go take my car in for oil change, I am soooooooooooo behind, but I am no mood. It's dark and dreary outside and looking like rain. Still have to do laundry and make the steaks. If I don't cook them today, I wont have a chance till this weekend, so I have to make them today. UGGGH!
Maybe I should just have gone to work instead, LOL.

I too have PB eggs in the house that are tempting me but not as much as the O Henry ones. Do you guys even have O Henry chocolate bars there?

Did Hollywood go with P.j to Ellen? Is Hollywood ? wearing a white t shirt and headband? I did see our famous girl in the audience. Just a quick shot though when Ellen was dancing on the other side and they panned the whole room. P.J. is on the same side as Tony.

I took the kids to the park after lunch, only had one day care kiddo, so we are off on our shedual. Then I treated them to fries and a Hi-C from Mc Donalds, so they could fall asleep at the table while trying to eat.

So, now they are sleeping, I hope the one dad is not too upset about a late afternoon nap.

Mony, yikes to tantrum throwing babies Goog job on putten them asleep ZZZZZ!!

I need a do-over day here. DH came home and asked if he could have the left over heart attack. I said yes, but not today, I have to make the steak first today.
So I go to print out the recipe, get all ingredients ready. Butter and oil in the pan, mushrooms, onions, lemon juice, worcestshire sauce, steaks lined up.
Prepared the mashed potatoe stuff (water, mill, butter, etc) and turned on the heat. Put the recipe on the stove in front of it. Then went to empty the silverware thingy from the dishwasher. Dropped it, and stuff was going all over. So I was picking things up, while wearing earphones. Then I turned back to the stove to find the recipe burning on te stove. I had turned on the front burner instead of the back burner. So the recipe was gone. Tried to to print another copy, but my fancy smancy machinge wanted to either copy or print photos, but no printing So by then it was 4 pm and DH goes to bed by 5. So I told him to just hace the heart attack!

Guess I'll just have another chicago roll for dinner....

Not gonna lie, I'm impressed with your mad PJ spotting skillz! And yes, that was Hollywood with the white shirt and headband. I saw me, Hollywood, and Eren, but I never really saw our other friend. It was so strange to watch it...it was like I WAS JUST THERE!!!!!!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. Julia looks stunning!!!! She really does look like a princess. You done good!! I am having trouble adjusting to this new girly Julia. I'm like, where did the boots go??? I love her hair. Fancy! I want to hear all about the banquet!

I am sending prayers to our friends who need them. Glad to hear everyone had such a nice Easter. I just got back to LooUhVull. It was a nice weekend in Cincy. Time to get ready for the rest of the week!

Peej, I taped the Ellen show in your honor today. I even had it running between 4 and 5. But my TV concentration skillz are sadly lacking. Can you give me an approximate timeframe as to when to go into PJ and Hollywood stalker mode? A 15 minute timeframe even???

I took a well deserved nap after my exhausting and boring day of doing nothing, which included burning paper on the stove, missing making DH's dinner and not accomplishing a slew of other things that were on my to day on my vacation day list. But I finally got the dinner made, the kitchen cleaned up, the laundry hung, and I am sitting pretty in hot curlers

I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow!

..is in good hands."


..i'm a lil'depress...my "crew"..sure has had alot of rotten, dirty

..luck lately. sadly, one of the nurses..i've worked with the past

25 years, suddenly passed away. we're all in shocked.



she also was one of my major supporter when i did the soap box

derby..the last 8years.

& she helped me with the homeless families this past christmas.

..for me, the world, suffered a great loss..in too many ways.


* and alot of the things...i 've shared here regarding mental health...

...and the sucess stories...was made possible..by her..and my other


comrade'.....covering me, allows us to developed "real" interventions,
that produces positive outcomes..,helping others to regain/recover
their "ways" in life.

this is a terrible loss.


( one thing, that is alarming ..to us {older nurses}..., is the current
group...missing the lil' important things, that can be so critical for
prevention. good health..is recognizing common sense & family
values.... )
