I will tell you about my old tag and this one (which at one time was my other tag)....well the one about round noses actually me saying one time that I would never shoot a deer if it had a round nose cause that would mean it was a little deer......I would of been pumbarized if my hubby or son thought i would shoot a baby deer......usually in November they are considered to dang young to shoot or eat..

My new tag that was once my old tag..(understand that one) ...well I had a fish once named Mr. Feeney and I was so excited because these beta's were just so beautiful........well I went to the store and got him a corner unit with a light and a filter....even though they do not need all this stuff....so I washed it and cleaned it out and then filled it with that water and added a few drops of the chemical to clean out the chlorine........well I put poor Mr. Feeney in that water and a few hours later he was on his side.......he loved to jump up when I talked to him so I knew something was wrong........I put my finger in it and sure enough the water was HOT.....I cooked Mr. Feeney....and some tag fairy that I dont know who they are......put it on my tag and I lived with that for a long time........

Twinkie - Here there is only wind if there is a hurricane and it's pretty stupid to go to Walmart then. ;)

I am so consumed with keeping my kids together and making sure THEY don't dent other cars I don't even notice stray carts. lol. When I am alone I put it away or if I can get close. I do ALWAYS anchor it on a planter or the parking thingy or between parking thingys.

9. marita- can you not call a lawyer friend in Florida and have them petition the state to make the new work week Mon thru Thurs 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.? sheesh.

Marita thanks the BBN for this compassionate thought! :flower3:

Now I guess I need to call mom and tell her I have her car. :rolleyes1
[/QUOTE]
You mean you STOLE your mom's car? Not nice!

Twinks, sorry you had a less than stellar birthday.

Pumba, great to see you back posting.

Where is Mony???????????

I came home tonight and in the middle of the living room were some piles of stuff. I thought the cat had thrown up, blech! But it turned out DH had trown out 5 mini doggie bones, in shades of brown in the beige carpet, so WHEW!

DS made is safely to California, YAY. 1,800 mile trip. He just checked into a hotel. So thats one worry off my mind. :woohoo:

Hope everyone has a great evening.

MP- I understand....I wasn't vehement about carts until I saw three go sailing through the parking lot (along with some tumbleweed, no joke) shortly after we moooved here and witnessed one ram into a little sedan. If you ever visit Kansas, be sure to put your cart away. ;) I completely understand the mental energy it takes to shop with the kids.

Hi Pumba- thank you for the birthday greeting if I didn't before. I always wanted to know what happened to Mr. Feeney.

:dance3: :laundy: Dinner is ready! Later gators!

Bored bbn + Twink + B + :stir: = mini-posting frenzy entertainment! :thumbsup2

:lmao:

Twink - May your Tuesday be toadily beurk-free pixiedust: It's more fun to celebrate your birthday multiple days anyway!

Pumba and Lil G- Goog to have you back!

Sandy - Your posts are making me hungry  One of my coworkers does wonders with flank steak. SO yummy after it is grilled.

Sandy and Nabbie - Yay for Spring Break plans! When are you leaving (if you haven't already)?

Peej - I'm happy to hear that you have a car to drive. Grandpas sure do come in handy sometimes :) Hope your car's not in the shop too long.

I've decided not to see He's Just Not That into You either. But that Shopaholic movie is still on my list. At the rate I'm going, it'll probably be on DVD though. Last night when I couldn't sleep, I watched that Beauty Shop movie with Queen Latifah. Kevin Bacon was kind of funny as a salon owner. Hope I can get to sleep earlier tonight

MommyP - I saw that shopping cart thread but didn't read it. I've been an offender lately because my knees are usually killing me by the time I'm done shopping, but I usually wedge the cart up against a post.

Well, almost time for Monday night comedies. Big Bang Theory cracks me up!!!

taking care of baby Ava was alot of fun and I loved that little baby to pieces.....but definitely put me on the slow time on the internet....could not do what I wanted to do when she was awake or asleep.......she is going to be missed here......she entertained me and I entertained her......all the time she was awake and in my house.....

Well today was be'urk free but my birthday was lousy because it begain at 12:23 am with a be'urking child next to my bed and the discovery that she had already baptized her bed, her room, the carpet and two bathrooms. If only BDG had given me my gift early. Although I was hoping for a text book.

Gorgeous weather here now! I gotta go grill something.
You're practically a saint. I couldn't do it. We have a beurk disease going around our school. The teacher next to me sent 6 home today beurking!! :scared1: I had 4 out. However, when they beurk on my floor, I just call custodial and they take care of it.

Sounds like this evening was better. I'm glad. You deserve it!

You mean you STOLE your mom's car? Not nice!
I hadn't thought of it that way but yeah, I guess I did!! :rotfl: I did bring the mail in for them while I was there since they're out of town. Does that absolve me?
p.s. glad to hear your son made it to California. What a long trip!

Ooohhhh.....I wanna see that one too!! A shopping movie? What's not to like! Never seen Beauty Shop.

Sounds like a tiring day!

So I just went to get gas and pick up a few groceries (and of course return my cart to the corral!) and I definitely somehow left my credit card on the ground by the gas pump. So then I got to the check out line with all my stuff scanned and bagged and no way to pay for it! It was lovely. I found my credit card though, so that's good!

I am working on my stupid internship stuff. It's a huge amount of crap. It involves data, student assessments, creation of many, many, many lesson plans, reflections on all this, blah blah blah on and on. It's a year-long thing. Yeah. I've been working on it all year. Yep. :rolleyes1 I did just save it to my computer, my flash drive, and email it to myself. Does anyone remember last Spring when my computer ate my senior research project? Or was I the only one traumatized by that? NOT doing that again! :faint:

4. Top-less for weeks? I'm gonna need a pic before I pony up good money for that.

10. Another female poster without a shirt. I think I sense a trend to your Top 10 List BBN.

BDG

I would harumph you, but I am fairly certain there's nothing a mindsweeper-playing-parking-attendant-in-lawyer's-clothing like yourself would enjoy more than being harumphed by 2 partially clothed female posters. So instead, I say :

had a good last three days of bs in the morning so maybe I have my diet under control again....trying to eat right and get all my blood tests back to where they were last time they did this.........oy oy oy........then I will go to Disney and walk my little feet off and then eat what I want.....did I tell you guys taht I bought some disney crocs at crocs.com.......17,99 and free shipping.......always love free shipping...

coffee is good right now......

see ya later peeps

Poor Mr. Feeney. I used to hug my goldfish:fish: and surprisingly, I didn't smoosh them to death like Lennie. But they did jump out of the tank during a power outage. The dead fish scoop is a sad process. Having the stinking toilet clog up and have to plunge it with a dead body floating is even worse.

Going straight from talking about the doomed Mr. Feeney to Dinner being ready :sad2:

Happy St. Pat's Moovers!!!

I wonder why Twinkie never just called custodial. Sounds so much easier. ;)

I hate cleaning up beurk. SO thankful my boys don't get sick very often!

:rotfl:  :lmao: :rotfl2:

That's nothing like having your 7 year old(on his BIRTHDAY) comes crying and running to the house saying his kitten is dead. Then having to get the dead stiff one eye missing kitten onto the shovel without touching it and walking half a block to bury it back at home. ;)

Thank goodness we managed to have one living kitten from the last litter!

Unfortunately, Chad thinks Mama is pregnant again. We didn't even have a chance to get her to the Spay Station. :headache:

I wonder if Obama supports cat abortions..

Mom and Dad are taking the pool cover off  but just for today. :sad2: At least the boys get to swim one day. I think it's time to keep it off since it's been in the mid to upper 80's for the last 2 weeks. :dance3:

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I'm so loyal to my Irish side I put on a green shirt before I even REMEMBERED it was St. Patrick's Day.
;)

Happy St Patrick's Day!!

Mommy p-- I am Scottish and German as well.

Lynette-- love the picture...

This gives a whole new meaning to the term "harumph." :scared:

Have fun, nabbers!

Bridget took a picture of me in the dress I'm going to wear for the wedding, but her iphone won't send it, so I can't upload it.
Darnit.
Since it's green, it would fit in well.

Is anyone else sick of the bail out idea yet? Why is it that this President and his Congress just can't stop themselves from spending your money. Over the weekend we learned that part of your hard earned tax money will be spent on bonuses for AIG executives. Fantastic. This whole thing is a farce and must be stopped. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

And, one more thing. Then I am DONE with politics for awhile.

Dick Cheney should shut his mouth. Recently he chastised the new President for making the United States less safe. He also blamed him for the economy. While I may share in these thoughts I firmly believe that a President and Vice-President should keep criticisms of the sitting President to themselves. In my opinion it undermines the authority of the President and flies in the face of what we hold sacred, the orderly and peaceful transfer of power. It also causes harm to the country as a whole because people should and do respect the office and people who held those offices. Bill Clinton was the biggest offender EVER. However, because Bill did it is no justification. Shut up already Mr. Vice President. There, rant over.
