We need bigger stockings. My beautiful, matchy-matchy ones are needlepointed and not very functional (BUT are very lovely). I saw some massive (20" I think) and super soft, red and white traditional ones at Target that are quite tempting, but I now need 7 (with Sara, Jordan's GF) and they seem to not be going on sale anytime soon.
Jordan's, so far, getting a lockable dorm size fridge for his room to keep his siblings and mother out of his Propel waters and Diet Mtn. Dew (not that I like the dew, just sometimes caffeine is caffeine, KWIM?), a tool set, some clothes from Kohl's which he will likely return (but whatever), and a bumload of candy that he certainly doesn't need (if you've seen his gut)and an arsenal of AXE products which he still thinks the "ladies" like
.
The younger boys, so far, are getting iPod nano's (HA! I first spelled that "nana's"--good thing I double checked, for once), iPod dock thingies that are also chargers/alarm clocks so I don't have to work so hard waking their tired carcasses, iTunes cards, Ripley's Believe It Or Not/Guinness Book of World Records books, clothes, clothes, and clothes, candy (up the wazoo), a Nintendo DS Guitar Hero game (have you guys played that on the Walmart demo???It's FUN!!!!), some STUPID NintendoDS pet game for Riley who suddenly is in to pet-care. And lots of crap I'm forgetting
Norah is getting a pink Disney Princess TV/DVD that I hope won't be obsolete (it does say it's digital)...and assorted princessy crap to feed the beast.
DH is getting a surround sound and a movable bracket thing to hang the flat screen up with. The surround sound is cool cuz it has an iPod dock replacing TONS of stereo equipment. AND, candy/Hickory Farms (yuck!!!!) crap. The boys go him Seahawks and U of U crap.
I won't tell you what I'm getting (because I don't know), but it surely wont be as good as the purple Dyson of '06 (which is still rockin'!)

I was supposed to come home Sunday, but through a series of unfortunate events, I didn't make it home till last night and had to take another personal day yesterday. It's a long story, and, let's face it, it's not interesting. Now for the important things....
Anyway, just some ice. I was the only teacher who still took her kids outside today. Perhaps that makes me crazy but I say let 'em run around no matter how cold it is. They were slipping and sliding and falling all over themselves on the ice. Ha. I of course didn't laugh at them. Nope. Not even once.

And we learned that we are supposed to clean the washer once a month on the "clean washer" cycle with bleach. Who knew???
(relatively speaking)
They were precious up there with their shirts that had their personalized stockings stitched on them.
I've been so busy I haven't had time to really read.
BUT..... a few comments......
Oh, and I love my purple Dyson too!
BTW, who observes right before Christmas break?
Actually, they will do a shopping spree and give me a surprise too.
3 more days for me. I really wanted Friday off this week, but we have our office pot luck lunch that day. Then I have tons of stuff to do at home during the day (but no worries, I will take Dis breaks, LOL) Hope you have more time to hang around.
It is a show that came on after Biggest Loser. It is called Mamma's Boy or something like that.
