We need bigger stockings. My beautiful, matchy-matchy ones are needlepointed and not very functional (BUT are very lovely). I saw some massive (20" I think) and super soft, red and white traditional ones at Target that are quite tempting, but I now need 7 (with Sara, Jordan's GF) and they seem to not be going on sale anytime soon.

Jordan's, so far, getting a lockable dorm size fridge for his room to keep his siblings and mother out of his Propel waters and Diet Mtn. Dew (not that I like the dew, just sometimes caffeine is caffeine, KWIM?), a tool set, some clothes from Kohl's which he will likely return (but whatever), and a bumload of candy that he certainly doesn't need (if you've seen his gut)and an arsenal of AXE products which he still thinks the "ladies" like :cool2: .

The younger boys, so far, are getting iPod nano's (HA! I first spelled that "nana's"--good thing I double checked, for once), iPod dock thingies that are also chargers/alarm clocks so I don't have to work so hard waking their tired carcasses, iTunes cards, Ripley's Believe It Or Not/Guinness Book of World Records books, clothes, clothes, and clothes, candy (up the wazoo), a Nintendo DS Guitar Hero game (have you guys played that on the Walmart demo???It's FUN!!!!), some STUPID NintendoDS pet game for Riley who suddenly is in to pet-care. And lots of crap I'm forgetting

Norah is getting a pink Disney Princess TV/DVD that I hope won't be obsolete (it does say it's digital)...and assorted princessy crap to feed the beast.

DH is getting a surround sound and a movable bracket thing to hang the flat screen up with. The surround sound is cool cuz it has an iPod dock replacing TONS of stereo equipment. AND, candy/Hickory Farms (yuck!!!!) crap. The boys go him Seahawks and U of U crap.

I won't tell you what I'm getting (because I don't know), but it surely wont be as good as the purple Dyson of '06 (which is still rockin'!)

I got waaaay too much for the Breadman's kiddos. I need to take a picture of all the presents under the tree.

I'm not sure what I'm getting for Christmas.

Things that have been "threatened":
(Just to show you the Breadman's sense of humor)
power tools
1 carat diamond earrings (even though my ears aren't pierced)
lingerie from goodwill.
a size GG (for Good God!) bra
butcher knife earrings

We'll see what happens. :confused3

I'm confused. Confusion can be good. At times. In small doses. Are you still confused Celery? It doesn't seem so. My friend. Hello Little G. Thanks for the Cheerleader pic. Go team. Raw. Raw. I mean Rah, rah. Let me be the first to say that I TRULY, TRULY enjoy good pictures. They CAN say a 1,000 words. It's true. Dontchaknow. Ehh BBN, I like the new signature pic. Who are you trying to smooch? Nab? Did I sound Canadian when I said Eh?

Hello to everyone else, to numerous to list. Where is Twinkee? I thought she was. Back? I see my old deer friend is lurking around as well. And posting pictures. Of herself. MommyP is pregnant. Again? And posting pics. Of herself. Again. Marita is still hating DVC and cutting her sandwich into thirds so that she can make three meals of it. Moo is still hating BDG. I bet. Lyyyyyynt, my oldest bestest BFF -- lives right down the street. Ha. I hope that made sense. It is hard to type that so it does. Lexi is still doing the morning shout outs. On a semi regular basis. And insisting that I am still here? I see Pumba is happy for the cold because it makes dog crap easy to pick up. Who says you people aren't appreciative of the little things? Oh, almost forgot. I see Rob is back too. Did I miss anything or anybody? To be sure. Sorry.

Merry Christmas

BDG

I've returned. Try to contain your excitement. We won't discuss the hour at which I arrived home last night. Let's just say today's motto was the classic "sleep is for sissies." :rolleyes1 I was supposed to come home Sunday, but through a series of unfortunate events, I didn't make it home till last night and had to take another personal day yesterday. It's a long story, and, let's face it, it's not interesting. Now for the important things....

I'm just jumping back in. I only read back-ish.

I SAW TWILIGHT LAST NIGHT!!!!!!! That qualifies as important, right? The woman in front of us wasn't quite as happy that we were there. Let's just say she didn't know how to have fun. Harumph!!! Alright, fine, we got shushed and yelled at a million times. Since when is it not appropriate to react in a movie? It's not my fault Hollywood and I have volume control issues!

Nab and Moo
...welcome back!!!! Glad to hear you both had nice trips.

MommyP....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! #6? WOW! You're brave. Are we supposed to be thinking pink?

Twink...what day of the week did you go to Park Fare?

Cel...I honestly don't know what picture you're talking about. Not even kidding. Are you sure I was in it? I know of a Twilight picture, but it involves my little sister and my bff Eren, not me. Oh wait....am I Rosalie in it?

We're having some weather here. Heh. That makes me laugh. Perhaps I'm loopy. I just think it's funny. My assistant said that to me last night..."we're supposed to have some weather tomorrow." Is there really any day when we don't have weather??? Anyway, just some ice. I was the only teacher who still took her kids outside today. Perhaps that makes me crazy but I say let 'em run around no matter how cold it is. They were slipping and sliding and falling all over themselves on the ice. Ha. I of course didn't laugh at them. Nope. Not even once.

I'm getting observed AGAIN tomorrow. I have to have this whole portfolio and growth plan to discuss after the observation which I should have started months ago. I may or may not have to do the whole thing tonight. I really couldn't say....
Again, who needs sleep? ;)

Hope everyone had a lovely Tuesday! :flower3:

BDG

Welcome back BDG. You truly are. The, master. Of the well punctuated post. I wish you a most Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Twink...what day of the week did you go to Park Fare?

Sunday Dec 7th. I *know* it was Hollywood. I am pretty sure I had seen Lady Tremaine decked out as Jasmine before too. Park Fare pix on CD were mailed to me today. I'll post some as soon as I have them.

I spent almost 5 hours of my afternoon/evening making a diaper bag. Chad worked late and Jeremiah fixed dinner(cheerios) and he and Seth fed Isaac. lol. I am a horrible Mom.

Well, WB over here, B! Long time no post!

Actually, I have grown to hate some things almost more than DVC, if that is possible! I didnt think so, but alas, it is! But it's close!

And I get my 12' sub cut in thirds cause I can't eat a half in one sitting. TFI! :snooty:

MommyP, Cheerios are nutritious, dont worry about about it. You are raising your kids right, LOL, goog boys!

Wendy, still love my purple Dyson too!:goodvibes

Peej, welcome home!

Let's see, Christmas presents: Mine is the short list, hubby is the one going crazy.

DH: a sweater and probably a massaging pillow for his back
DD: a tote and a cookie recipe a day calendar (like she needs it!)
DS: a polo shirt. I should get something else too, but I have no idea what

On my Christmas list is a backup drive for my computer and a Microsoft Office Suite (optional). So heaven knows what I will get.

OH wait, I have to edit this: I asked for a new sink for the guest bathroom before (not on the xmas list), because the one we have is stained, (NO idea from what) and I cant get it out, plus the drain is not working right (the insert part). So hubby came home with a new sink the other day. It's sitting on the fireplace so far, I have to have faith it will get installed before 25 people show up next week! He said it was part of my Christmas present, which is great. EXCEPT: We currently have almond. He said they dont make that color anymore, so he got Bone. Which looks Brown!!!!! Why couldnt he just have gotton white? But hey. I am not going to critize!

The Sears washing machine repair guy came by this afternoon. It was not draining properly. $295 :scared1: And we learned that we are supposed to clean the washer once a month on the "clean washer" cycle with bleach. Who knew??? :confused3

Pumba, frozen poop is good poop! :) (relatively speaking)

Cel, Lil G, Nab, everyone

Today was my last day of work until 2009! :woohoo: :dance3: :cool1: :cheer2:

Our kiddos did a great job performing today except for the SANTA song that was sung in rounds. :rolleyes1 (and it wasn't supposed to be ;) ) :sad2: They were precious up there with their shirts that had their personalized stockings stitched on them. :thumbsup2

Ok, I have seriously skimmed. :scared: I've been so busy I haven't had time to really read. :guilty: BUT..... a few comments......

MommyP - Congratulations!!! Now we know why you were van shoppin' at DW. :rolleyes1

Wendy - Bring on the Sugah Bowl! I didn't even know that Utah had a team. :headache: Oh, and I love my purple Dyson too! :thumbsup2

Pumba - I have to agree that frozen poop is good poop. Ours is just wet and that = mushy poop. :sad2:

PJ - Pixie dust for tomorrow's observation. pixiedust: BTW, who observes right before Christmas break? :confused3 That's crazy in my book. :snooty:

I went and bought my family's gift to me. That way I get what I want. It was a Vera Bradley bag that was 25% off at my local Hallmark. :thumbsup2 I presented it to the family, and told them this is what mom is getting for Christmas! :lovestruc Actually, they will do a shopping spree and give me a surprise too.

Hope everyone is well! Maybe I can be on here more when I am off from work? :rolleyes1

YAY for being off, Allie! 3 more days for me. I really wanted Friday off this week, but we have our office pot luck lunch that day. Then I have tons of stuff to do at home during the day (but no worries, I will take Dis breaks, LOL) Hope you have more time to hang around.

I'm watching Mary Poppins on ABC Family. I LOVE this movie (Dick Van D. in particular).

And I am watching trash...:lmao: It is a show that came on after Biggest Loser. It is called Mamma's Boy or something like that.

Marita-- yeah on the new sink. Is your tree up yet?

P.J.-- welcome home. Did you have to do a Christmas concert?

We had ours tonight and Hannah was a lamb in the Nativity scene. Nicholas a hippy in Night Before Christmas. Three classes did this :confused3 one in French even. It was grades 1-6. But is was so cute anyway. :goodvibes

Mommy P-- At least they ate and are happy.

Nicholas is finally done his science project from ....Now we can actually be calm again in the house. Lots of yelling etc. Trying to get him to do it and get organized.

Nabbie, no tree yet, most likely not till this weekend the earliest. But we make up for it by leaving it up til February :cool2:

Yay on Nicholas getting his project done!

Congrats on winning the cupcakes! My big win was a can of ravioli as a kid.

hi from pop century!

we are having a blast, and i cannot wait to share with you our dinner experience at 1900.

hard to read everything from this phone.

miss you all!

Hi Mony, Great to hear you are having a great time!

For Rob:

Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height
Let's go fly a kite
And send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite
Let's go fly a kite!

I watched too(ain't we the macho men of the thread!) It's not true that I hang around the courtyard at Britain in Epcot just in case Mary comes by. But I do have a great pic of us when she did. And that cm is practically perfect.
Great, another workday with minimum sleep.

Thanks Marita! :) Though this is my favorite song from the movie: Chim Chim Cher-ee (sing-along)

1. Yes we are DTD! :rotfl2:

2. Sleep is highly overrated.

It worked Moo. Nice pic.

Marita? Did you just tell Rob to go fly a kite? Ha.

BDG

Yes, WITH me, take that!!!!!!!!

Rob and DTD, you know sensitive guys are in great demand! Take that, B!

Moo, great picture, really!

So I was updating my BFF on the Adam Walsh case finally getting closed. (the kid of John Walsh who started America's most wanted). Which happend 1n 1981, 27years ago. Not to get hung up on that case, but our conversations digressed to what we did in 1981.
I had a new house, a 2 year old boy, and was putting Epcot on the books in Capital Assets at Disney.

What where you doing in 1981? Those of you that were actually BORN then?

I started 1981 in the 7th grade and ended 1981 in the 8th grade (so at least my seventh grade year was successful). I spent the summer of 1981 missing Major League Baseball (that year the Royals were defending American League Champions and the MLB players went on strike in June and July) and missing the girl I had a crush on in 7th grade (and 8th grade -- big time -- and somewhat in 9th grade). Back then, if you couldn't drive and she didn't live within "biking distance", you were pretty much limited to the phone only (i.e., no internet).
