Twilight People...just finished the first book. I finally gave in and wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I don't think I qualify as a fangirl yet, but perhaps once I get the second book I will be converted. The whole Bella being like 90 years younger than Edward thing borderline gave me the heebie jeebies. Don't get me wrong, I definitely liked it and I am wanting to see the movie now!

Today is such a great day!

My last health class, I have to take 2 exams, which I am not worried about. I just completed assembling my first aid kit.

I transfered my Tony's dinner ressie to a diser who couldn't get in to a MK restaurant for months. That felt good helping someone.

I was a little disappointed losing tony's cause the parade was at 7 and wishes was at 8 that day and I had a 635pm ressie.

But a lunch ressie was available for 1:50 on the 13th and the parade is at 3. I'm hoping we can at least see the parade and get outdoor dining.


Plus I found our missing coffee pot that goes with the fridge swap I am running. Now I get to have my coffee as planned in my room. It has MY name on it waiting for me to check in at Pop. Life is pretty good at the moment.
Not to mention we leave in 1 week!!!!!


I have to go for my consultation today for the cortisone injections.

The sun is trying to peek out finally. It has been pretty cloudy for days.

Marita-- the cruise goes to St Maarten, St Thomas/ St John and Castaway Cay. We cruise out on Saturday back next Saturday. Then we are going straight to POR for that day and take the magical express back to the airport first thing Sunday morning.

But I am meeting Moo and her Mari at DTD Friday night because we fly in on Friday. On my cruise thread they said it going to be cold there on Saturday but it's got to be warmer then here.

howdy everyone....

The quest for my American cocker spaniel has been met.....my dil got on ebay and got it with her paypal.....that is why I couldnt get it there....I dont have a paypal account......so now a cocker is on its way to us.......we will take good care of the little critter......I will keep him here with me and when the kiddos come to visit we can do stuff with the doggie on the computer.....My dil got one too ....hers is a chocolate lab.....

ALL those that are traveling the next days into the holiday season..safe travels all my friends.....and keep us cold friends in your thoughts.....maybe it will thaw us out....it is 22 and the sun was out ....but 22 doesnt cut it.....

I love George foreman grill.......it was to cold to go out and cook the chicken so grill was it.......came out good with the monterey seasonings

Yes, it is a beach picture. However, I can't figure out how to get it any bigger than that. Idk if it would be allowed to be bigger in my signature anyway. Rules and what have you. See, the pictures are all on the photographer's website but they're all copyrighted so I can't save them to my computer. That one was on the photographer's main page, so I grabbed it off there. Yes, we have become an advertisement! Ha. I don't think the other ones can be posted. In other words, I'm computer illiterate. Sorry, I'll stop rambling.

Pumba, you'll have to forgive me. I knew that didn't add up. My lack of sleep and poor skimming powers are to blame. Tonight...I sleep!!! Or so we all hope....

Cleaning the fridge out, doing up the rest of the wash so we all have the right number of underwear....I am not washing on my vacation if I can help it. And of course put piles into a suitcases. That should be interesting since the piles are to the ceiling or close to it.

I had a late night working and just finished dinner. And I'm pooped! I hunted for variances all day, but finally found them... Do you know how hard it is to explain year over year variances to under $50,000 of "All Other" when you have a budget of millions???????? And targets are establish on a Macro level??????

Some people in the office requested the radio station on the PA in the office to be changed to CHristmas music, so that will happen tomorrow. Now, I have nothing against Christmas music, but playing the same songs over and over and over for a month all day long REALLY gets on my nerves!

oh and I am being evaluated by my principal tomorrow. She and i had a little "misunderstanding" a few weeks ago so I'm afraid she;s goign to take it out in my evaluation. Send prayers at 10 tomorrow!!

Phed 2030 is done!!!!

I took my 2 exams 100% and 96% My first aid kit was a success!

I am now once again trained in first aid and cpr. I can bandage you up, breath in your mouth, press on your chest, splint a limb, treat a burn, take a pulse, call 911, tend to a bruise, roll you into a recovery position, help you if you are choking., and much much more.

And I can use a defibulator. (waiting for the jokes on that one........ )


Looks like injections won't be in my near future but maybe sometime in January.

I still feel like sometime is being missed cause what I present doesn't go along with the usual pain of a herniated or bulging disc.

Nab: All mommies are very busy. Unless you live in a mansion, have butlers and maids, and servants and nannies. Sigh.
