:santa: ..thanks..backie. [ andrew already snowed me, but i
think ..my other signature..takes up all my room..so i might have
to "kill off"..the grumpy..young-man,

christmas?...i just  ..everything..about it. besides the
spiritual feelings..but also taking a "time out"..to appricate
family traditions & count your blessings. :grouphug:

hunting?..so far just one...but as you kno....our lil'problem

with our mentally-ill neighbor. [ we getting the 5-years protection
order. & legal proceedings]. deadly force...is an option whenever
you are confronting...an out of control person with no respect
to anybody or anything. ...ironically, something we also "see"
quite often.

however, what a beautiful piece of property. even the drive....is
something speical. my buddy and others..feel strongly....this person
is out to drive us outta there. so he can kill everything/& anything
in the woods. this is never going to happen, whats sad?..our
legal system...& not restricting...those...with life-threatening issues
have a gap..where deadly force...must happen before taking,
making corrective measures..& why so many are killed.

* here, the person history...spells out what i already know.
when one can't control..chemical abuses/etoh, then the state
should set mandatory testing and restrictions..reducing the
risks.

pysch.,.for all the talk...is risky buisness. [however, thats why...
one need 3 primary qualifications..to be effective. the knowledge ,
the insights, and self awarness...is what i think..gives the
'structure strenth.

psych...looks so easy..& it is :thumbsup2 ,with the above. when one
fails to acquire..bad things happened. [ what we need to change, is
sooo self evident, that's it's overlooked].

the above..was based..on what i been learning the last 17 years...
..& how sucessful my interventions....are producing positive outcomes.

the new nurses...are impressed with things..that should've been
presented in schools. schools..what are we educating..our future
generations? ..way back to the pirmary. "reminders", the most relevant
fact of all..are the things...that made up generations...cultures,
...and dynasties....of the past. common sense..that most are wanting
to ignore...for the sake..of getting notice? i happened to think, the old
ways..are :cool2:

act of kindness...is the best way to get attention but it never
goes out of style...

but, what...really amazed me?....seeking things that work...was "all"
i was seeking....& was "open"..to any resources... only to discover,
everything were orginally designed.....with prefection.

thru.my many years, we have had a whole slew of challenges...
...from dirt poor to ...in-laws, even crises...but we always
taken the time..to celebrate christmas..& we're @ in the world.
[ no matter what we invent, or how much..we progress, there
are things..we are alwys..going to need...besides food & water.
someone very clever...had all this figured..out , from the beginings]

so...thru thick & thin..don't let no one get you believing , that what
your sharing ~ caring here..isn't important...for the sakes of hope,
...the positive energy..makes all the craziness.....into making
some happiness.:flower3: , oh..may all your christmases be....
cover..with pixiedust: ...and the white fluff!

oh, nabby....now if you need someone..to help..pack for a cruise,

:rolleyes1 ..psst, wanta kno what..i learn...from your trip report?....

..the first step..in making the magic, is the believing.., & in that-

"spirit"..me really "feels"...i would add..something.."off beat"..to
your cruzse..if you sneaked..me on board....:flower3:

..last but not leasing..., thanks m.p & monty...for reminding me
..of "yor most-excellent & magical trippies..the only way i could
imagine being better?...having me there giving you "prompts",
.right nabby~:lmao:

ooh, just in case anyone needing help.....for gift~giving?..you can't
go wrong..giving me old pictures..of past presidents, popcorn::

..& good things..to eat, popcorn::

oh, for the record.....[ we didn't have dvd's back when..]

..i think attention seeking isn't a bad thing....if once you have it?

.redirect..toward..al the good things..you can be. :santa:

Late night check in - I was working on my packing all evening since I have a public hearing tomorrow night and won't be home til around midnight

I started getting a cold today. GRRRRRR!!!!!!! After taking Airborne and Zicaming my nose and extra Vitamin C. At first I thought it might just be allergies, but I'm pretty sure it's a cold now. It had better not turn into bronchitis.

Nabbie - Sounds like you have a busy day tomorrow. You may not want to meet up with me after all!

Peej - LOVE the pic! Sending prayers for tomorrow

I'm heading to bed after folding a load of laundry. Night!

Just a fly-by before I hit the hay, Moovers!

Mony, Moo and NAB, good luck with your packing and preparations! So exciting! And I'm not jealous at all.........:rolleyes1

Marita, ACK on the budget woes and financial acrobatics.

L...congrats to you and Natasha on the great review! :cool1: I'm sure Boris' will be just as glowing.

Thanks, Peej!

Bragging Mom Alert, Part Deux: (again...feel free to skim and/or sigh loudly)

I met with Boris' teacher this afternoon, and her assessment of him was way beyond what I'd hoped for! She said he is "the most academically exceptional student" she has had in 15 years! I actually got tears in my eyes!     He's acing his advanced lessons in math, computers, science and language arts. She basically spent the entire meeting telling me how great he's doing, and how he's a "quiet, steady leader" in the class. I am one HAPPY mom today! Santa is going to be EXTRA good to these kids this year, I tell you!

She did tell me a funny story which is so indicative of the out-of-the-ordinary way Boris' mind works. Apparently, before Thanksgiving, each of the kids in Boris' class was asked what he or she was thankful for. Boris' classmates listed many things: their parents, their bikes, their video games, etc. When it was Boris' turn to answer, he said the thing he was most grateful for was gravity, since without it, there'd be no way to keep any food on the table for Thanksgiving. :confused3 :rotfl2: What a character!

lynt: ummmm that house looks kinda spooky with all that red on it. kinda like pennywise might live there or something.

Down heah, we FLOAT! :scared1:

Peej, I'll be throwing happy vibes your way tomorrow around 10ish....good luck with your eval!

Gotta get some rest now.....see y'all tomorrow.

Lynt, YAY for your kids! You have every right to gloat!
Too funny about the gravity!

Moo, packing mojo to you too!

It will be a slow week next week around these parts, I am guessing....

I need to hit the bed too. 9AM conference call tomorrow. But I put my insurance policy in place via knitfreak. Just in case I oversleep... (Not that that EVAH happens....... :sad2: )

Goog Morning!

I'm sooooo happy I don't have to go grocery shopping! We got 4 boxes of food from the Angel Food Ministry for $30 bucks a box. It's all the food we need(for a month) besides fruit, lunch meat, cereal and wic. So my Mom is going to get those items for me. :cool1:

Does everyone have their Christmas trees up? We got ours last Saturday. Lowes has nice trees this year, they were all way taller than they were tagged. Ours was almost 9 feet before we trimmed it up to fit in the 8 1/2 foot tall area. And we only paid the 6-7 foot tree price because the helperman was trying to get rid of me ASAP. My DH hates tree shopping with me. It usually goes something like this:

Chad picks up a hideously ugly tree and sees nothing wrong with it. I say, "No." and he puts it down for some other sucker. Then the process repeats for at least 30 more trees. :rotfl: While we were going through our process the helperman went into the stack of nice trees and pulled out on I couldn't find any faults in. lol. Trying to get rid of me. ;)

So I got my house all decked out with Holiday junk on Saturday and we decorated the tree on Sunday and we put a few lights on the outside of the house.

Isaac has been very good with the tree. I only have to tell him no a few times a day when he gets a little too close with outstretched hands. :rolleyes1

Dec. 20th is Chad's company Christmas party. It's all casino style, you play to win tickets for the raffles. One of the things being raffled is a 47in plasma. Here's hoping most the employees come down with the flu on Dec. 19th. :thumbsup2

Peej - Neat picture!

Mony
- Congrats on your awesome grades! I could never do it.

lalijack - Yay for Boris the boy genius!

Nab - When do you leave for your cruise?

oh and I am being evaluated by my principal tomorrow. She and i had a little "misunderstanding" a few weeks ago so I'm afraid she;s goign to take it out in my evaluation. Send prayers at 10 tomorrow!!

okay...tired....night.
:grouphug:

Hi...I hope all went well with your evaluation today :goodvibes:

Taking a break. I still have piles since hubby is looking into new luggage. I do have all our dress clothes and shoes packing to the suit suitcase. Hannah and my clothes are in our middle size suitcase. So we are set. The guys stuff is all sitting on my bed.

Lil'g -- I did pack my P.J's by the way but will not be wearing them to breakfast. Can't wait to see the ship decorated for Christmas.

Lynette-- How proud you must be.:goodvibes Good genes in those kids. Love his way of thinking.

We have our teacher interviews tonight. The girl is doing great, almost felt sorry for Nicholas because she was dancing around about her A's . I know he will never be an "A " student. But he has to keep a B average which right now he isn't it dropped to a "C" so we have some work to do.

P.J.-- Hope evaluations went will. Now get moving on those Christmas crafts time is running out. :rotfl:

Mommy P-- I fly out tomorrow and on the ship on Saturday. Heard they had a big storm there and wrecked the gangway. Not sure how we are getting on the ship. Someone said the opening were we usually get off at ports. That would be too bad because you miss the awww factor of the lobby then and the cast members calling out your family name as you enter.

Hi everybody.

Lynt: Woot about Boris. Where does he get his geniusoisty?:rolleyes1

MommyP: Our Christmas tree is not up yet! I guess we will do it this weekend.

Nab: Have a great trip!

Everybody: hope all is well.

gosh this joint is jumpin'

Maybe I'll pick a fight with Rob, at least it will make for an interesting read.:upsidedow

WENDY: since you are the only one here that i know has the pink cd, i was just going to share that i was listening to it today while i was doing some major housecleaning. and when that song "I dont believe you" came on. I stopped and actually listened to it....the words, the melody, the pain in her voice when she asks "right?"

and guess what?

i cried.

ha!

i didnt blubber up like a babynurse but a few tears rolled down my cheeks.

i have no idea why. i guess the music just moved me.

whowuddathunkit?

pink made the bbn cry!

BBN, I did visit your trippie. Great update!

I just read that Zzub TR got moved to the CB. It's an OUTRAGE!

Where are Celery and Lexi, not to mention Sandy who has been missing forever?

Moo, my conflict I had for lunch next week went away, the boss is taking the day off and cancelled the meeting. So lunch is on (so far). The ressie is still for 4 people, so it should be OK (Not like they have tables for 3 anyway).
Now to see if I can get backstage parking, the GM's asst who got it for me before is gone, don't know about the new one yet.

MommyP, yay on the food boxes! I have absolutely NO Christmas stuff up yet.

Wendy, any word from Twinkie? It was great weather here today, 75 and sunny. Hope they have a great time.

Can I just say ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!

Ok, thanks! Actually, that was for my 15 yo son. ;) He is so excited for his Alabama football team. Actually, I'm a little excited too. ;) It's hard not to be when a team is 12-0 after having MANY losing seasons.

I wanted to get him SEC Championship tickets for his Christmas, but then I saw the cost! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I would even have FREE lodging w/my parents, but I just couldn't come up with the cash for ONE game. :sad2: At least mom HAD a good idea, right?!

Ok, carry on.......

two Christmas's ago....we were in Disney for a visit.....and stayed at ALL STAR MOVIES......and they played Christmas songs 24/7......we woke and got to the food court to Gramma got run over by a reindeer and then Elvis all the time.....crying about a blue Christmas......and many more in between.....and over and over and over again.......Now I like Christmas songs and my favorite will always be one of the Three Tenors singing Jingle Bells with his funny little accent.....I love their singing.....

Tonight we went looking for a mattress ......we have had a water bed for 29 years the first of February....hubby made us a bed with high top and cabinets under it......it has served us well...so we are getting old now and dont want people to think we are nuts....so we went hunting for a mattress.....just that part as we want to keep our bed........SOOOOOOO we go to the furniture store we always go to and start sitting and laying on foam ones.......so we figured just the top half probably 800 or so.....well these babies were 2200 for the top and 2600 for both and then add another 1000 if we want the machine to go with it.....I THINK NOT.......told the guy .....what if we dont like this idea.....a bed that expensive.....i can go and get a diamond ring for that amount......and hubby piped up and said ...yah we could go for another disney trip.......geesh....
so we will keep on looking......

Hope you all that are going on a trip to have fun and be good...

and another smart kiddo in our group.....congratulations to Boris from the piggy

Thanks for the clarification, Rob! :rolleyes1

I would like to echo this sentiment minus the whistling smiley.

See what happens when you hang around with me and Peej? ::yes::

Good evening, all. Is it Saturday yet? ;)

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words about my boy. I guess we'll keep him!

Wendy (where ever you are), I got your card today. :goodvibes You were my first Christmas card this year! Thank you, muffin!

Where is Peej? I want to hear about her evaluation. I'm sure it went smoothly.....who wouldn't love a Peej?

Allie: no you may not say that. you are subsequently banned from ever posting on moovin again. hee hee. just joking. you know i luv ya. i'm impressed with the crimson tide too. :thumbsup2

Awww shucks, I was just tryin' to fit in with the "cool sports kids" on this thread. :rolleyes1 :lmao: That's ok, I know I'm still loved by other Moovers. :rolleyes1

I can't stand their coach though, but I have to give him credit that he has turned that team around. He just always sounds so negative when he is interviewed on TV. :sad2:

please feel free to talk more sports. anytime.

although now that i'm crying at pink songs, i might actually be turning into a *gasp* GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha

Yikes, Pumba, that is one expensive bed!

For the early Disers that are still here, ZZUB got moved to the CB, I posted that already earlier. Mel HappyHaunt thinks it might be her fault. Actually, I thought that might be the reason too, although I thought all she did was innocent flirting. I cant imagine what else could have caused complaints.
Zzub is a straight GOD and family as they come.

So more DIS drama, yet again!
