How did your friends husbands get to go to the debate? Are they belmont allumni?
Yes.

RE: Twilight event.....what's that about anyway? They're not going to screen the movie are they? Ick....what's in the goodie bags? I say it'll be plastic vampire teeth, a cheap version of the bracelet, a Team Edward & a Team Jacob pin. You're welcome.

At any rate, please report back.

BNCG
....You'd rather mull over your own personal/private thoughts than share them with us? I don't understand. Please clarify. Hope you have more (food) on your plate soon. RE: Twilight the movie opens Nov. 21st. I can remember that since it's Mimi's b-day.

PJ....You're 22 and you can't buy cold medicine??? Surely there aren't any other 22-yr-olds out there living on their own? Will the wisdom of the KY State Legislature never cease?

Lynette.....Autonomous underlings? Who ever heard of such a thing? That's why they're underlings. Duh.

We being having nice fall weather here and the kids have been playing outside at night. They come in and drink a lot of water. Which in turn is bad because Hannah will get up and go to the washroom and then come to me and ask to be tucked back in. This happened 4 times last night. I am tired. Could never do the night time baby thing anymore....to old.

Moo-- never heard of the fork thing either. Sounds like a big mess to me. Didn't the dogs bark when someone was outside?

Sandy-- I used to have to go to the laundramat too. It was nice to get it all done at once. You must have one empty one though to get 15 dryers. It must cost a lot too. When we were camping it cost me big time.

Hubby was off work today so we were out and about looking for Christmas already. We are not spending a lot this year so we are pricing around more and asking the kids what there number one thing is on their list. Hannah has a long list. And what is her number one thing...a Hannah Montana singing toothbrush out of the Wish Book from Sears.:confused3 Nicholas wants a cell phone which he is not getting...next one is Rock Band for Wii.

melinda - the twilight event is not until the saturday after the movie is released.

nab - the dog movie looks cute, but I probably won't go to the theater until the 24th to see HSM3.

:laundy: Done!
Nab $5 today to wash, $5 to dry (50 cents for 40 min - and if you go at the right time, its empty! I use a mega washer + a frontloader $3 + $2) I might have added another $1 to dry, some of the loads are done in 20 min... towels take 75 cents, jeans 75cents... I have no idea how to compare 10 loads of drying in a gas dryer, at home it would take closer to 30 min... and in the summer, it throws of the a/c... I was never good at math tho! (and that's 2 weeks worth of laundry btw - I stock up on undies, socks, etc!) so I figure $20 a month

Celery so honest!!

Lexi you've been spot on with some of your other guesses!!

Debates on talk radio they asked what would your question be - the BEST one - that will NEVER be answered prior to election - who would you pick to be in your cabinet! That would give another indication of the candidates and your beliefs...

Mony how are you feeling today?

Marita in case you pop in! guten Tag (and when you leave) tschüss

WE're having our own debate - to dining plan or not to dining plan!
ship or not to ship (I say ship shoes, shampoos, liquids etc) and do carry on only!
oh, hte Fridge swap I'm in - Fridge is reported missing - off to check to see if it was found yet!!

Melinda - They both are!

lil g - it wasn't me asking about everyone's hobbies - it was the breadman's daughter hayden. she is 9 and was bored so she was posting under my account

I just survived parent teacher conferences. Well, I still have a few to do after school Wednesday and Thursday, but I did the bulk of them today. Is there really a nice way to say your child is a pain in the astarstar? Kidding! In order to protect the identities of those involved  I'll spare the details, but one conference turned into a major domestic dispute. :scared1: Things got pretty ugly. Makes you realize what the kids go through at home. My only other issue was when my translator didn't show up for one of my conferences with my ESL kid. That was interesting with my broken spanish and the parents' broken english.

PJ (cold medicine goddess)
I would like to put in a request for a new title. Please review my request at your earliest convenience and let me know what you come up with.

I know I have been quiet of late, but that's the way I am when I have lots on my plate (which is a rarity, seeing as how I love to eat:rolleyes:). I have been slightly off my game, as Peej can attest to when she FINALLY talked me into having "supper" with her one night and I did not finish off every last crumb that was placed before me. Just rolling a bunch of thoughts around in my brain, and that's always a dangerous thing. But I hope all you guys are doing well.
I like that me FINALLY talking you into supper went something like this...
Me: want to go to Tumbleweed when you get off work?
You: Sure, I'll meet you there.
Wow, sure was a lot of persuading involved in that one.   And THAT, my friend, was an authentic PJ eye roll. You're welcome.

You have thoughts in your brain? Other than food???? Learn something new everyday, I guess!
I would like to report that the bbn ate appropriate (excessive?) quantities of breakfast food at ihop this morning, so the "thoughts" must have died down. You can now all rest easy tonight.

Yep. That's the new SOP. (pssst. that's standard operating proceedure, Peej)
pssst. that's shut your obnoxious piehole to you. :snooty:

1. Now I am over 30 but I organize my life so I rarely need spray paint after 10 pm.

btw Cowgirl you need to work on your message giving skillz.... the correct way to give that message is

Peej, some guys called. They sounded cute. Something about vegetarian pancake or burritos. Or was that doritos? I dunno. :confused3
1. Thank you for that useful post. It made me snort laugh. Heh.
2. Your hotT college chick communication skillz are to be commended.

you rebel rouser you!! ;)
You know it! :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

It includes a goodie bag. We'll see how it goes.
I love that this appears to be a big reason to go to said event. Goodie bags usually do it for me, too. I'm totally on the same page as you.

Well, you might be privy to the mad planz Peej and I are making if you showed yer face every twice in a while. :snooty: Actually, if you think back to the summer, you'll recall that we DID, in fact, mention a trip. Perhaps your memory is lacking? Might I suggest some gingko biloba?
Are we talking about going to Disney or LooUhVull? You lost me with the summer comment.

PJ....You're 22 and you can't buy cold medicine??? Surely there aren't any other 22-yr-olds out there living on their own? Will the wisdom of the KY State Legislature never cease?
Right. Because as soon as I am 30 I will no longer be inclined to open a meth lab. Right now it's all I think about.

You are making me feel like a major slacker....Christmas already?!

I am sixty and I have to show a Tenn. Driver's lic for Sudfed an it is always behind the counter. At Walmart the other day they have a lock on the Spray paint. I have rolled a yard or 2 forty yrs. ago . I was a Band Member and it was fun to roll othr people houses until mine got rolled and My Dad made me get out at 5 the morning to clean it up. Then the Band Parents got the police to make a fee to pay if you got caught. Hello Celerystalker Jr. Hope you are having a good Fall Break.

Marita Glad you are safe and sound.

Lynette.....Autonomous underlings? Who ever heard of such a thing? That's why they're underlings. Duh.

Okay, I'll give you that. But the whiny underling is a grad student at Haaahvud, so you'd think there might be a few working brain cells in there somewhere, no?

Are we talking about going to Disney or LooUhVull? You lost me with the summer comment.

LooUhVull, Peej. Summer is just when we started talking about the LooUhVull trip. Savvy?

MP- glad your sittee showed up... is her name pronounced Fah-lynne or fallen.... like she can't get up?

Like Falcon. That's how I remember. Or you can call her Theodor like Kaleb. Because apparently Falynn is too much like Alvin which reminded him of Theodor.;)

My girls day was soooo wonderful! Between the 5 of us there were 7 little boys 3 and under running/crawling around. I sent my 3 older boys outside so they didn't drive me nuts. There was also a little girl half cooked in the womb. Funny we all have boys!

My daughter's home!!! :cool1: :yay: :dance3: Cash was so happy to see his mama!

Lex - w00t on girls night! Are ya'll going out for margaritas? We weren't going to watch the debate, but my hubby's watching an old Star Trek movie, so I have it going in the background on my laptop and am wearing my headphones.

Moo got TP'd? that sucks. i have never in all my days pulled such a crazy, childish prank. heh
Yep. We all believe THAT, bbn! :rolleyes1

Mari thought it might be the same potential culprits that I did.

I was NOT a Rah Rah, I actually played sports. Which the cheerleaders never came to and cheered for. I was of the wrong sex. When we did make the finals, and they asked if they could cheer, we nicely declined.
Mony - I kinda figured you probably weren't a :cheer2: but figured I would ask anyway!

One of the girls from my class who was a cheerleader works as a hygienist at my dentist's office. I have never been able to bring myself to let her clean my teeth

Moo-- never heard of the fork thing either. Sounds like a big mess to me. Didn't the dogs bark when someone was outside?
Nope. Nada. Nothing! But our house is a ways back from the road.

Peej - Sounds like an interesting evening!!!!! :scared: Don't you wish you could just give goog reports on all of your students? Can you say they're, ahem, spirited? Require redirection . . . pull out the thesaurus!

Sandy - Let us know how YOUR debate comes out! I had to go to the laundromat with my mom all the time when I was younger, so being able to do :laundy: in my own home was a priority for me.

Sandy-- that is pretty cheap to wash. I paid $1.75 to wash and $1.00 to dry for 20 mins. At all the campsites. Not near enough to dry that is for sure.

Moo-- Hannah had to right a story in class this week ,she just bring it home today for me to see. She got a level 3+ for it which is good. It was about Nicholas getting lost at WDW last year.

Mommy P-- 7 boys.... I can't handle my one boy at times.:sad2:

Moo-- Hannah had to right a story in class this week ,she just bring it home today for me to see. She got a level 3+ for it which is good. It was about Nicholas getting lost at WDW last year.
Nabbie - You should type Hannah's story on here for us to read! Yay for her good grade!!!

Germany is 6 hours ahead of Eastern time, so it's the butt crack of dawn over there

Nab I believe Germany is 6 or 7 hours ahead of us (depending on time zone Eastern / central - sorry Wendy! I am lost now!)

Moo IF I could scan, I'd love to scan the pic of me in my cheerleader outfit!! :rotfl2: OK in full disclosure mode - it was a jr hi cheerleader , and it was in a "no cut" Intramural league - but dont tell my kids!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: How it made the newspaper I'll never know!! :rotfl2:

Still no sign of the fridge swap fridge.... :sad1: and dh was so looking forward to brewed coffee (not nescafe syrup coffee!) *sigh

Ok who watched the debates??? BORING... um sorry, this is so important... but I just kept hearing the same old same old, lets not offend, lets project *I* (insert your candidate here) am bipartisan, *I* etc etc... :sad2:

SO I swapped out to Dirty jobs (LOVE Mike Rowe!) and over at Girls Next DOor - talk about cleavage - why cant I look like that (minus the bleach blonde, I quite adore my brunette locks thank you very much!)

Germany is 6 hours ahead of Eastern time, so it's the butt crack of dawn over there

jinx

but I got interrupted!1

That's my story and I'm stickin to it!! doncha know ;)

(DH is still playin with a new land line connected to internet - 1 cent per minute)

OK, going to just edit in - if anyone is interested in the Halloween BOO to you parade - these pics seem really great!! so colorful!! (headless horseman in first pic of this dis'ers trip report)

What, Sandy? You thought the debate was boring tonight, my friend??!

:lmao:

Anyone who was playing a drinking game on those two words ended up schnockered tonight

:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

GOOD MORNING!

Not fun girl party last night. My friend who lost her son had a bad day yesterday. I so wish I could do something/anything to help her. I think time and prayer are the only things that will help.

Y'ALL HAVE A HAPPY HUMP DAY!

Electricity went out at 3:40 AM!! I know because it was so quiet in our room, I could hear dh snoring!! :rotfl2: Then I became obsessed!! and couldnt sleep - set the alarm on my phone, put my ipod on and tried to slumber!!

7:30am and we have electricity!! :cool1:

Last day of school this week - Fall Break!

Lexi  to your friend... I was listening to Reba McIntire's "If I'd Only known" very sad!
If I had only known
It was the last walk in the rain
Id keep you out for hours in the storm
I would hold your hand
Like a life line to my heart
Underneath the thunder wed be warm
If I had only known
It was our last walk in the rain

Gotta go to school!!
:dance3:

1. :teacher: however most meth labs go out of business in a couple of years due to a lack of a sustainable business plan and customer burn out rate;)

2. Peej, some guys called. They sounded cute. Something about vegetarian pancake or burritos. Or was that doritos? I dunno. :confused3

1. good to know. I'll consider that as I'm writing up my business plan.

2. James was very nice. Richard was a Richard. Did you say doritos? Pass the bag please.

BBN :grouphug: It has been an interesting year! I do tend to step back when I'm overwhelmed, hope you find joy!! and peace!! :grouphug:

Thanks Sandy. I'll be fine. Just a bunch of wIerd stuff, but I appreciate the sentiment,. Bring on the joy and peace. I'm ready.

babycow and other twilight people - I'm going to the twilightlexicon event. They're having it in Franklin and I'm going with two of my friends from work. It's at 10 on Saturday.
It includes a goodie bag. We'll see how it goes.

My friend told me the movie release was pushed back to December, but I think she is wrong. Can't wait to use that tidbit against her. She claims to be the ultimate fan. whattheheckever.

2. Although I am uncertain of the phenylephrine quantities needed to start a Meth lab, I AM fairly certain that you could be afforded a tax break for your entrepreneurial spirit. The bad news is that you can't get a small business loan because the economy just toadily tanked. Sorry!

1. Oh. THAT trip. sounds like a blast?

2. It doesnt matter. The world is going to end soon anyway.

BNCG
....You'd rather mull over your own personal/private thoughts than share them with us? I don't understand. Please clarify. Hope you have more (food) on your plate soon.

Call me crazy. Like I said, it's all good. Sunshine. Pixie Dust. all that crap.

People who love Twilight, click here.

People with a blase attitude towards Twilight, click here.

Good one lex. I clicked on both.:upsidedow

I have a problem with the fact that Edward is 17. It disturbs me. I cant really get into the whole "Edward is an awesome hunk of man" way of thinking b/c he's a baby. I know he's a 100 yr. old vampire, but still. He's in a 17 yo body. It's wIerdish for me. Sorry.

2. pssst. that's shut your obnoxious piehole to you. :snooty:

1. YOU: please, please, please go out to eat with me
ME: I'm working. Go bother somebody else.
YOU: Please, please, please. you are awesome.
ME: I know, but I am very busy.
YOU: I'll pay for your food.
ME: Ok. I guess so loserfreak.

You owe me for one chicken chimi queso style and a diet coke. Plus. James liked me better. just sayin.

2. I am never obnoxious. got it?

Yep. We all believe THAT, bbn! :rolleyes1
